Love that they opened this in Bluffton! Great food and always big portions! Their Carolina Mustard is so delicious!

Food is usually decent, but the service is awful. Today I stopped in for lunch and was seated at the bar. Girl working the bar was also waiting on tables. She was busy and I was patient, but I drew the line at rudeness. When I asked her for BBQ sauce and she got snotty and said "yeah I'm getting it" with an eye roll, I can no longer be patient after that. It's a BBQ restaurant and asking for the sauce with my meal is not unreasonable. If the restaurant is over working their employees and they're so exhausted to the point of just being plain rude, might I suggest the male manager who was standing around laughing at the bar step in and help out. read more

First off, Dominique is an outstanding ambassador to the new Bluffton location. Mike and I LOVED the happy hour. Super service. Super drinks and food. The brisket sliders were scrumptious. Made for a younger or party type. The food is great, but the location is hard to find with GPS.Once you get there it's worth it.

First time we went we got our food but never got silverware. By the time we got the silverware our food was cold and had to wait for a new order to come out. The second time we went it took 25 minutes to get a drink and they didn't deliver the tea my wife ordered. Then, they brought the wrong food to us 10 minutes later. First time here today, even having heard about it for sometime. Had to park around back though it wasn't packed at 11am. Tried the lunch special "Meat & Three" for $12.99. With Tea, taxes, 20% tip came to $20.62 - won't be doing this often. Had the BBQ Chicken 1/4, Cream Potatoes w/ gravy, Collards, and Sausage Cornbread Stuffing. Being Breast and a Wing, chicken was flavorful but dry with sweet tomato based sauce that was over charred. Remainder of meal while filling was average at best. Collards were too sweat. We tried this restaurant for a second time during our vacation. We ordered take out for 7 people. We had some very tasty food that included fried chicken, fried okra, Maui wowii chicken wings, loaded mashers, side salad, pulled pork sandwich, Chilli, pork ribs and beef brisket. Great BBQ. Not cheap but worth the cost. Make sure you ask for extra sauce. Ribs are good but pulled pork is even better. Beans are great.

This is our family favorite next to Cahill's restaurant in Bluffton. My mother in law was visiting from Tampa, Florida and wanted her to experience the best food and dining experience and once again... OHM DELIVERED! The brisket is soooo delicious that I don't think there is another restaurant in town that has the best BBQ like this establishment. Once again, we have been here before and each time the food and experience was amazing. But this time we had an amazing server named Annesa who was such a 'sweetheart' or so my 6-year old son says. He says he would give the restaurant, food and Annesa infinity stars if he could. He says this because Annesa was so amazing to my son, and even got him a light up cup which he was so excited for He was a little tired but perked up and was a happy kid when she served us. My mother in law was impressed and once again , so were we. It def is and always will be a family favorite. And we would def come back to get served by Annesa. So if you love BBQ, a family friendly or bar dining experience, and maybe catch a movie (bluffton cinemas is next door) you will love it here. I've only had the BBQ salmon and it's always been delicious! I've had the salmon with several of the numerous sides including the creamy Mac and cheese and also over several salads. The portions are large. There is nice outdoor seating under umbrellas. Service is a little slow so if you are on your lunch break try to order as soon as you get there. read more

Typically this place is spot on. As I walked in the door I was following my wife and child and heard one of the girls say sarcastically well Merry Christmas to you too... I didn't see her so I guess she thought I was being rude but had no idea she was even looking my way since they were in a group talking amongst themselves . Next I sat my family down for dinner with my 6 year old who was really hungry and they sat us in the Bar Area. I had no idea the Bartender was also going to be my waitress while helping a full bar of patrons. She was so distracted and concerned about the people at the Bar that she actually forgot about us until I actually got up to leave in frustration and ask for the Bill. On the way out I ask to speak to the Manager who basically blew me off not apologizing once or saying anything about it at all except she is really good. My family and friends eat here a lot since they opened but to stay in business service is paramount in a small community as word gets around. I will no longer give a place business that can't recognize customers concerns when I'm spending usually 75.00 to a hundred dollars a pop.. we walked over to Outback and were greeted with smiles and attentive service people.. Needless to say our evening wasn't ruined after all because you always have a choice when it comes to where you do business and unfortunately even though the food was good the service wasn't.... not acceptable in my book. read more

Edited as we received an extremely courteous phone call from the restaurant offering us several options. They were gracious and accommodating and went above and beyond. We will be back in the area in April and will happily try the restaurant again. - We were looking forward to the Thanksgiving pick up based on recommendations and popularity and were disappointed. We intentionally drove off island to pick up the family option as it stated "serves 4-5" and there were 3 of us. We thought we would even have leftovers for the day after sandwiches with sides. Pics attached are the portions we were given. The Mac and cheese was an $35 add on that supposedly served 10. Ordered for 1PM hot ; only the meat was hot and since everything was served in those plastic dishes everything had to go into oven safe dishes to be heated up which meant that we had to clean up and isn't that the worst part of cooking? The meat was in a tin but the ham and turkey were in ONE tin so the flavors mashed together. Quality did not make up for quantity - this was not good southern comfort food - frozen beforehand for sure, bland, mushy (the crispy onions usually make green bean casserole-maybe package them on the side, I think there may have been a mushy one in there somewhere), we made a game of trying to find any sausage in the sausage cornbread stuffing. So in the end, quantity didn't matter because it all went in the trash - at least I felt less guilty about wasting food. I will chalk up the surly and unfriendly staff at pickup to be completely overwhelmed and we tipped 15% on TOP of the already assessed 15% and I just hope that goes to the workers and not to the management responsible for the overbooking, under-ordering, sloppy execution of this. read more

One of the more popular BBQ joints in Bluffton. Always poppin. The food can be hit or miss though. I think the recipes are solid but it depends if you're lucky enough for the planets of "good cook" and "good server" to align. When they do, you'll enjoy a fantastic BBQ dinner in a fun and funky atmosphere. They are socially distancing during these. My husband and I just left the restaurant after sitting at a table for 20 minutes and were not even acknowledged once. This was after another couple was seated after us and was attended to right away. I understand places are understaffed, but we saw many workers attending to others.
