Especially Indian..it's a caution. This restaurant is run by desi and this is purely a rip off. All they serve is frozen parotha from desi grocery store and charge $17. All cheat. Food is not so good and not worth it. You will be very much disappointed with this restaurant at Sound. Don't lose your money at all. Strongly suggest to avoid this restaurant at any cost. So glad there is another Malaysian restaurant in town, yay! Came here with my parents and we loved it so much, brought my friend, who is from Singapore back to have another taste. A must order - roti canai. It's so good. Finger licking, literally drinking the curry soup when the roti was gone... Yu choy cooked in garlic is my favorite. Comes with lots of sauce and a pyramidal mound of rice. Perfect to drizzle the sauce on the rice... We also got the chicken stir fry wet noodle. So flavorful and fun to eat. Of course get the char kway teow! We also got the curry puffs which were stuffed and pastry so flaky and you see all the layers. I am excited to discover this Malaysian food stall given the lack of options in the area. So far I've tried the curry puffs which are good but a bit overpriced. This food court is pleasantly surprising me everytime I come here. Today, I wanted to try One One Asian Cuisine. I ordered their prawn dish and it was delicious. Not disappointed at all. Serve with steamed rice, the plate was overflowing with perfectly cooked prawns. Tender yet justice and the crunchiness of the batter makes it the perfect texture for a meal. My family ate at the food court in Jusgo and tried a Malaysian stall that opened this year called One One Asian Cuisine. We got the chow kway teow, seafood laksa, seafood stir fried wet noodle, and the chicken curry. After you order, these places give you a buzzer to pick up your order. When picking up the Malaysian food, remember to ask for their sambal sauce, it really elevates every dish. The chow kway teow had a really good wok smoky flavor but was a little bland in flavor. I still really enjoyed it though, especially with the sambal sauce. I didn't try the curry or the laksa but I did try the wet noodle stir fry. The texture of the wet noodle was pretty good but I thought it was a little bland as well. read more

Since One One opened last year, it's quickly become one of my favorite places to grab a bite at the Jusgo Food Court. My husband and I have tried several dishes, including the stir fried dry butter prawns (amazing, probably my favorite dish here), the curry lamb (super flaky lamb and bursting with flavor), various stir fried flat rice noodles (great wok hei), and the chicken curry puffs (nice kick, very flaky), and nothing we've had has been a miss. Really love the coconut fragrance in the steamed rice, and others I've come with have really enjoyed the laksa here too. Can't wait to come back and try other things on their menu! read more

As a fellow Malaysian, it's hard to find true, authentic Malaysian cuisine in DFW as there's not many. This place serves truly authentic Malaysian food- just like my hometown! I orders the Roti Canai (Pronouced CHA-NAI) and the Butter Prawn. My verdict: Roti Canai 10/10. The roti (bread) was tossed and cooked to perfection! It was perfectly charred and crisped up nicely to go with the curry! Curry is mild but tasty with curry leaves and tender chicken pieces. Butter Prawn (Dry style) 8/10! I cannot tell you how long its been since I had butter prawn. I was extremely happy to see it here. The owner cooked it with a handful of curry leaves, crispy prawn and floss with some birds eye chilis. This was an explosion of flavors. I do wish it to be even crispier but that's a personal preference. The dish came with coconut rice which was the highlight of my dinner! Do you know how hard is it to find a restaurant that willingly gives you good quality rice? Much less Coconut rice?? I hardly find coconut rice in DFW and this place serves it with your meal! I wanted to order the yu choi (vegetable) dish but they were out today so I am determined to come back and order that along with some Char Kueh Tiaw! Curry puffs like others said , solid taste. They were just dark , making me suspicious it's been re-fried couple times before making its way to me. Prices are higher $2 compared to other places. Well, One One Asian might just be that place. We accidentally stumbled into it at the Chinese Food Court in Plano. The menu is relatively simple and has all the popular Malay dishes. We opted for the classics - curry puffs and chicken curry laksa. Curry puffs were delicious...flaky with a potato filling. It didn't come with sambal sauce but after asking the owner was kind enough to get us some. The laksa was outstanding in its complexity and depth of flavor. I heard about a newer Malaysian/ Singaporean spot in this food court and decided to check it out-especially when I saw they had curry laksa on the menu. This is a food stand in a casual food court, so don't expect anything fancy, but the space is clean, organized, and has a great variety of options. If you're in the area and craving good, quick meals, it's definitely worth a visit. The chicken curry laksa looked promising when it came out. The broth was creamy with a nice color, and the coconut flavor really stood out, which is a must for this dish. Unfortunately, the chicken was on the dry side, and the soup was missing some of the bold punch and complexity I was hoping for. I also would've loved a side of chili sambal to enhance the flavors, but I didn't ask if they had any. If I were rating this curry laksa in Singapore, l'd probably give it a 5/10. We ordered the #6 Seafood Curry Laksa Noodle Soup, and although there was a generous amount of seafood, everything was incredibly bland. The soup was watery and lacked flavor. However, there was a good proportion of noodles to everything else in it. We also ordered the #10 Chow Kway Teow, and it did not have a good proportion of noodles to the other ingredients. The seafood again was generous, but there were barely any noodles in the dish. On the plus side, the flavor was good and tasted as expected. The #2 Curry Puffs were hard on the outside, but the dough was softer below the surface. It was definitely not flaky. The other pet peeve I have was they gave small cheap white disposable plastic spoons to use for the Laksa. Every other restaurant in the food court there provide nice big soup spoons - the non disposable kind - for their noodle soup. I went during peak lunch hours and waited about 10 minutes for my food. The curry puff is nice and flaky and the spicy curry flavor is perfect! Ever since Lion City Cafe closed, we haven't been able to find good Malaysian/Singaporean cuisine in D/FW. So we have traveled to Houston and Singapore to find the good stuff. When this place opened I was excited, but afraid it wouldn't be very good. I was so glad to be wrong! We tried the Laksa, curry puff, and fried noodle and were very impressed. While all were good, the stir-fried seafood noodle was excellent. Overall, if you are looking for the best Malaysian/ Singaporean cuisine in D/FW or want to try out a new Asian cuisine you haven't tried before, I highly recommend this place. It is unique cuisine and very good. If you are Singaporean, I can't say this will be better than Lion City was, but I feel confident it is the best thing since. Anyhow, so happy to have found this place and hope they get the business they need to keep offering great international cuisine that is hard to come by in the US. If the restaurant reads this, I hope in time you'll expand to offer a good Hainan chicken rice. But only if it is as authentic as the dishes we tried. read more
