Alright, alright, alright. Everything about the Omni was "alright" but I just didn't like the vibe of the spot. The nail salon seemed clean enough but definitely worn. The walls had scuff marks from the technicians chairs brushing against it. The nail dryers seemed a bit dated. The nail polishes seemed thin like they've been diluted with acetone to make it last. Everyone here was friendly. The technicians quickly seated me and got me their nail polish booklets to peruse. They were attentive and listened to my requests. However, the place just seemed sad. A person who had originally wanted a manicure and pedicure left after just the manicure. Two people came in for just a quick manicure, no polish. I had a third coat applied because the first two coats were weirdly sheer. My nails looked fine, but it just felt sort of icky. I'm not sure if the lighting contributed to the dingy factor, but it just didn't feel right. The prices were comparable to other midtown spots, the service was OK, but overall I just couldn't get past the overall vibe. I probably won't return unless I'm in an absolute pinch. read more

My first visit to this salon was amazing, let me say that first! I even got a lot of information about poly gel vs builder gel and mentioned I would be back for birthday nails. I went in today for service and the vibe was completely different! The woman who sits up front was away from the area so I asked for her being that I spoke with her @ my last appointment and her customer service seemed spectacular (which I honor in today's world). Today, it wasn't the same. The person I was given to do my nails clearly had an attitude and didn't want to even give her thoughts on the colors I asked about, very snappy and made me feel out of place instantly! I know I'm black and I work in a predominantly white area and that's probably most of their clientele but that's no reason to be rude. I was even "shoooed away" after I stated these will be my birthday nails and I want them nice, are you good to go? She waved her hand at me like I was nothing. So I got my things together and left. Very careful and took her time on ensuring that the details of the nails are clean and cut properly. I love it! Very challenging to find someone that detail oriented nowadays. I went in for gelx which I have done for years off and on. The person doing my nailes applied the nails in a way that made them crooked vs my natural nails, when I asked to have them shape it so it didn't look crooked they proceeded to tell me my fingers are crooked not the nail. My fingers are straight. The nails look great top down, but from the side I now have two layers of finger nails bc of the way she laid down the gel overlay. have been going here for years and always though they did a great a job. After this I'm not sure I'll be going back for anything more than a standard manicure (very simple one). If you want to do anything more go elsewhere. read more

Visiting NY from out of town and decided to treat myself to a pedicure. I passed Omni Nail a few blocks from my hotel, so I dropped by. They were able to take me as a walk-in right away. Great selection of polishes to choose from. I opted for the Green Tea Detox pedicure, which was amazing. It included a 10 minute foot and leg massage. The lady who did my pedicure was awesome. Everything was very clean and professional. I came in with sneakers, so she told me to wait 15 minutes by the drying station before putting my shoes on. When the 15 minutes were over, someone came over and put oil on my freshly painted toes and wrapped them in plastic, so I wouldn't smudge. I then walked around for about an hour and when I removed my shoes, the pedicure was perfect. Highly recommend. Would definitely come back when I am in the area next. read more

Stopped in to get my nails done on a layover. Probably the worst experience I've ever had, used a nail file to get the old gel off, soaked my nails in acetone for at least 20 minutes, the shape was awful & 3 nails broke off less than a week later. the polish didnt even cover my entire nail and all the edges were jagged and mishapen. $60 down the drain. My nails are broken and weak now. Also! It took an hour and a half. I found that insane for a simple gel mani. read more

Extremely disappointed at this place. Their pricing list quoted a package of gel manicure and spa pedicure for around $110 or maybe $125. When the servicer asked me to choose from spa pedicure options I asked her TWICE does the price remain the same I am doing a package she confirmed. At the time of rhe bill I was quoted full price of that pedicure separate $99! $99 for a pedicure! When I expressed my frustration the owner compensated by giving me $10 off.... I felt scammed tbh. Visited this establishment for a gel pedicure. There were a few things I didn't like. First, my technician wasn't the friendliest and while removing my old gel polish with a drill, she made one of my cuticles bleed. Second, they have a discount for cash prices, which is fine. The thing that irked me was they had an ATM and it only allows you to withdraw $20. Therefore, I had to pay the up charge to use my credit card. It would have been nice to have a sign or be told I could only withdraw $20. About $70 for a gel pedicure when paying with a card. The positives are they have a great selection of polish colors and it's in a convenient location. read more

Stopped by for a manicure and pedicure and the nail technician was friendly and did an excellent job on my nails. I got a classic manicure and red polish on my feet. She also helped me apply plastic wrap on my toes before putting on my shoes. This is one of the rare times when I've arrived home and there are no smudges. As a plus they also have cubes to put your purse and belongings instead of on the floor and a loyalty card program. Would highly recommend and prices were reasonable. I've been going here frequently to get my nails done and they have been so good. I went two days ago for a gel manicure and it's awful. She cut two of my cuticles, she applied such thin layers of polish, and one is already chipping. My friend ask me if I did my own nails. Not something you want to hear after spending $50 on a gel manicure. Also I got a color change on my toes, it took her literally 5 minutes and they charged me $20. She didn't cut my nails down or do anything other than literally removing polish and repainting them. I've never seen anything like that. Won't be going back unfortunately. read more

Over priced and weird service. Went in for a dip manicure with extensions. Midway through the process the tech sprayed this glue like substance on my nails. I have never had that done before and I've been getting my nails done for YEARS! The nails would not come off, had to pay $18 somewhere else more than 4 weeks later to get them removed. The techs at the new place I went to were very confused as to what was even on my nails and they needed three people to help take the dip off. Traumatic experience. On top of all this, this place is highly overpriced, you will easily pay $10 more for basic services. read more

Honestly I got my nails done with great service, offered me water and even had comfortable conversations with the employees but unfortunately my nails did not even last 1 day they started cracking and I had paid more then 190 for both pedicure and sns nail they did not refund and that's fine but I asked them to get them done very well and this time on the 4th day it cracked once more and it even chipped.
