I was told my order would take two minutes, yet I waited 45 minutes, repeatedly checking in only to be told it wasn't ready. The cashier eventually realized my food had been sitting by the register the entire time, an avoidable mistake that wasted nearly an hour of my time. I thought our meals was extremely delicious!!! There was a bit of a wait for our food, but I'm sure it was because the food was cooked to order. The wait was definitely worth it!!! The BBQ mix is definitely a meat lover's favorite. I love the galbi rib meat the most, but the flavoring of the chicken and beef is still super delicious. I'm not a big fan of the macaroni but my girlfriend loves it. The rice was plentiful and perfect amount to the meat. I enjoyed the spam musubis as well!!! Not too sweet, and had a mix of salty and sweet. The spam with the rice and seaweed was yummmyy. Very delighted by our experience here and the tables and interior was very clean and modern. Stopped by this location of Ono Hawaiian BBQ for a quick dinner and I enjoyed my experience and food overall. The decor, which I believe is the same at every location, was very interesting and made for good island ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious and while it did take a little while to come out, it was freshly prepared, hot, and came with no issues. This is the worst Ono Hawaiian BBQ ever. False advertising and rude customer service. They advertise lilo and stitch, therefore, I ordered the food online and when I went to pick up. They said they don't have any of the items. So why are you advertising and you can put out of stock on your website. In addition, the rudest cashier ever gave me attitude and gave her permission to insult me. I am talking to her and she assumed I am deaf, even if I am deaf you don't have the right to discriminate against me. She started writing down whatever she was saying. First of all, if I am deaf how am I communicating with you. The worst part is that she didn't give me the water I paid for. I checked my bag and saw no water bottle in my bag. I went to her and ask for my water she pointed to the cooler and said grab it. First of all, it is your job to put in a bag. What if I drove and didn't notice it. Second of all they didn't give me Apple sauce that comes with the food. I asked her for Apple sauce she said we don't have when I was picking up my food she could have told me they are out . Not telling me when I told you my Apple sauce is missing. Please check your orders before Leaving the store, since this store seems to be stealing from customers. She didn't even apologize or offer to refund for the missing items. This is my last time going any Ono locations. We were visiting some family and traveled from the Bay Area. We all agreed on Hawaiian BBQ since it was late and the establishment closing time was 9:30 pm. We arrived about 8:15pm and decided to order. As we finished our order the young lady behind the counter said they are only doing to go orders and that indoor dining was closed. I asked the lady why and that they closed at 9:30 and she began to told me that the kitchen is closing soon and the indoor dining is closed for the evening. Once I heard that, i cancelled my $80 order and took my business else where. If the owner or manager is reading this. We went for lunch on a very hot summer day. The air conditioning is not too cold that day. There's several seating areas available nice decor chill vibes music is a bit loud. Been a while since we ate in Ono but the food is spot on for the value. The chicken and pork chop cook right, flavorful and tastes good it comes with macaroni and salad as sides. Overall, we had a great shared meal coz' the serving per order is good for sharing. My Mom really likes their rice. Had a taste for some Hawaiian surf and turf that was affordable so I decided to stop by Ono for dinner. The lady that took my order said they didn't have surf and turf meals and after a quick chuckle, I explained to her what it meant and she thanked me for learning something new lol. I ordered a three meat combo plate with island fried shrimp, white fish and chicken katsu with white rice and macaroni salad. Been coming here since they've opened because it's convenient and I like their food. Also, Esmeralda who has waited on me a few times is always pleasant and friendly. I usually order the Aloha Plate with chicken katsu or the teriyaki chicken, with no rice and three scoops of macaroni salad. I'm sure some people think the mac salad is too rich but I absolutely love it. I like how they don't charge me extra for ordering all mac salad too. Their white rice is just okay, usually overcooked for my taste and I can just make it at home but their macaroni salad is a definite must!! Today I tried something different, I had the Aloha Plate, but with their Island white fish instead!!! Oh boy! It was really good. I thought the breading would be crunchy like the chicken katsu but it was more soft but not soggy. A new favorite! They still have their acrylic partitions at the cash registers but their self-serve condiments and utensils are now available. Masks were still required but that may soon change. read more

We walked in and immediately noticed Rose taking care of customer's, helping out with the front counter and being present to current customers with what they needed. She didn't ignore a customer. Customers who walked in received acknowledgment with a," Welcome to Ono!" and a smile. After a long day at work, this type of service is truly refreshing. Rose is a familiar face , and the fact that she remembered her customers says a lot about her. It feels good to be remembered and she also remembers what my family orders when we come here. Why can't all customer service and front counter people take a note or two from Rose about how to keep your customers coming back for more! WORST Experience Ever Only reason we came was because we had a coupon to get two meals for 50% off with a drink. We also purchased a spam musubi with our two meals. The cashier Linda only gave me a discount on the spam musubi and not the 50% on my meal. When i asked her about it she told me that I ordered it wrong but she still took my coupon. I don't ever complain when something bad happens but after she gave me my food I told her that it was for take out and she still tried to charge me the 10 cent fee for the bag. I wouldn't care if they charge for the bag but I told her even after they missed up on my discount she was gonna still charge me for the bag and she just said that she was. When I asked her if she could adjust my discount she told me she couldn't anymore. Linda had the worst customer service I've ever seen. I will not be returning here. read more

The order was repeated to me, so I figured it would competed correctly. I was so wrong, what I got was all rice. Just chicken and tons of rice. By the time I noticed when I got home, I was expected to go back and exchange it. I'm hungry, already in the comfort of home, not going to waste my time to have to go back at that point.
