Just last week , I had car problems and needed a competent and trustworthy automotive repair service in Oro Valley; I found the answer at church! Three different people told me to go to Vistoso Auto Repair and ask for John or George. The next day I took my car to Vistoso Auto Repair where I met both John and George; never before have I ever met so much care for the customer and sincere friendliness by a group of competent people. They were interested in me and my car problems. Everything they told me was right on the mark; they told me what was wrong and what they needed to do to get my car in top shape. They gave me a ride home and within two hours John called me and told me what was causing the check engine light to come on and the cost to fix it. By late that afternoon I was picked up taken back to the shop and my car was running perfectly; the price to fix it was exactly what was quoted. I knew when I walked in that morning that I was in the right place by the number of customers that were in the waiting room and how professionally and cheerfully everyone was treated. This team is first rate all the way. I've never been treated better as an automotive customer in my life. Three years ago I purchased a truck in Oro Valley and drove from Texas to take delivery. The truck overheated within 20 min of driving and panic set in as backup plans were essentially non existent. I chose this company based on these reviews and limped in. My concerns were met with positivity and professionalism. The owners, John and Jeff, showed me what customer service was all about that day. John went above an beyond to ensure his new customer was treated fairly and received an honest experience. about 4 months ago i bought a 2010 Jaguar xf,OOROO has repaired it 5 times all ready(car sat for two years)it needed to be brought back to life.OOROO has been very honest(very hard to find at a repair shop)just got car back on 4/29 i finely feel car is 100% thanks to OOROO.two short stories first the estate sale guy took car to OOROO for new battery and to check car out(all before i ever seen car)i went to OOROO to have them look at car(i think price was $150.i forgot my glasses went back to get them, stuck my head in door to tell them ,next i hear hay,hay we know that car,they knew some of the things that needed to be fixed,they did not charge me the $150.2nd time (about a month ago)transmission went crazy,(computer problem for sure)Steve rebooted the sensor/modle it took a few days to reboot, but car was like brand new,they did not charge for that because they were not sure if that was the fix.it was.bottom line great place to take your car. read more

This is a great service. I needed regular oil changes for two cars. They came on time, and charged slightly less than a garage would (much less than a dealership). But the big thing is... it would have taken hours to bring in a car and wait for the work, etc... For each car. This is much better than that. I was able to keep working (from home) and didn't lift a finger. Also - I previously called Ooroo on a rec from a friend when I needed to do a simple repair that required tools I don't own. They came to my house, did the repair, and then didn't charge me for it because it was so simple! (I had purchased the part online, but couldn't raise my car to install it). Yes, it was easy, but I couldn't do it without tools. The point is, wow, they were nice. I will now call them whenever I need anything. The two oil changes were the first call since then, and it was a much better experience than taking the car anywhere. read more

I just moved to Oro Valley and bought a used car. Took it to Vistoso Automotive for interpretation of computer codes. The staff was very helpful and identified what the codes were (emission / transmission) and provided recommendations on fixes. The estimates they quoted were almost exactly what it ended costing to fix, they were very transparent, honest and up-front about labor involved, parts to be ordered, and timeframe. They were also direct on what they could not fix and made recommendations on other dealers. Their customer service is definetely top notch, you can tell from their attitude and behavior that they are trying hard to please the customer and not treat you like another number. Great job ! Can't say enough good things about this company. I'm not a car guy, I'm a PC guy. My wife's PT Cruiser has been having multiple issues for over a year. Turns out the company we'd been taking it to, really messed alot of things up. After calling, and an initial inspection, they came and fixed my wife's car in under an hour. We were having issues with the AC, overheating, the battery, all kinds of issues. And it seamed like every time we took it too the old company, more stuff would come up wrong. OOROO fixed all of the issues in under an hour, and for less than 1/10 the thousands we had spent at the other company. I discovered OOROO Auto approximately 5 years ago, possibly longer. They were known as Vistoso Auto at the time. I have never spent less on maintenance and repair and at the same time never felt more confident that all that needs doing gets done and done well. They inspire a level of trust and loyalty that I have never before experienced with any other auto services provider. I used to bring my Toyota 2009 Avalon to the Toyota dealer feeling that they were best qualified to perform maintenance and repair. The cream has risen to the top and its in OOROO! I've never before found an auto mechanic whom I felt I could trust so implicitly! This is the one, though! From what I understand their policy is something rarely found in the auto repair industry: they do not pay their mechanics by commission, but rather by an hourly/salary rate. No more conflict of interest to find the most repairs that need (or don't need) to be done on a car just for the sake of a commission check! I took my 06 Pathfinder in a couple of weeks ago with the SES light on, an exhaust leak, a bad oil pressure sensor and needing an oil change. John was very helpful and they were able to do everything except the exhaust leak and the work they did was very reasonable. John referred me to Discount Muffler on Ina and they were able to take care of the exhaust leak, the SES light was a defective O2 replaced under warranty. Finding a problem while doing routine service, that affected the safety of the vehicle, they kept it over night to repair it, and then delivered it to our house the next day! These guys are gems!
