Small, friendly no frills Greek restaurant. Excellent Greek salad with gyro out on top. Service is great.

Friends and I decided to meet at the midway point between Sarasota and Fort Lauderdale. Naples was that point. I went online to see if Naples had Greek restaurants. Opa came up and got rave reviews for the Greek salad which is what my friends wanted. It's a very small restaurant. You can sit outside or inside. The food was absolutely delicious. Two of my friends split a Greek salad because it was so big. I got the chicken ala Greek. The sauce was light and creamy but it wasn't too much sauce on the chicken. The chicken with thin slices of white meat that were extremely tender. I would guess this is a hidden gem in naples. Next time I'm in Naples I will be showing up. read more

The best Greek food my family has ever had! We are huge Mediterranean food fans and were beyond impressed with the menu here and the quality of food. Service was attentive and quick, lots of seating space and perfect for a nice lunch. Large portions for very reasonable prices, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Spanakopita and hummus. I was expecting a good homemade Greek restaurant. Instead I got a fast food version of Greek food. You could tell every was prepared from the food service store. The dressing on the Greek salad was creamy Italian and not a true Greek dressing. The chicken was without any seasoning. The owner was really nice but we was more in a hurry to rush things then to give good food. The tzatziki sauce had no dill in it. It was just so plain. The calamari was store bought. Was spending the weekend in Naples and wanted to eat Mediterranean food. I had seen this little restaurant located in a strip mall on a previous visit and decided to try it. Very happy we did. Was very excited for some "authentic" Greek food for lunch. Was extremely disappointed with the frozen out of a bag calamari and frozen falafel. The lamb burger was dry and well done. Horrible. There were ants in the iced tea swimming around. Don't go if your looking for the real thing. Go to Publix and heat some food up in your microwave! read more

Honestly, some of the best Greek food I have ever had. Not only did he Esh (sorry if I spelled it wrong) make the falafel fresh but the tzatziki is the most flavorful I have EVER EVER had. The breading on the falafel wasn't overdone, the hummus wasn't dry at all, and the price point is way underrated for not only the flavor, but portion! Will be back... a million times over! read more

FOOD POISONING!! I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I didn't even get my soft drink. The staff was very rude screaming "hello? Are you ready yet?" when we were just getting settled in. I never write reviews, but i felt it was necessary to prevent others from experiencing food poisoning like I did. The prices were outrageous for the portion sizes and quality of food. Opa is located in a strip center across from NCH. Our party of 4 came in at 7:30 on a Saturday evening and most of the tables were filled, but we were seated right away. We shared tabouli, saganaki (flamed feta cheese), grape leaves and Greek salad to start, each fresh and judged authentic by the expert in our party who grew up with Mediterranean dishes. Grilled pita bread accompanied the starters. Entrees we ordered included lamb shawarma, chicken shawarma, mousaka, and a gyros plate, all of which were really good. The rice pudding for dessert is extraordinary - highly recommended. The husband and wife who run the business take a personal interest in making guests happy and we were glad that we came in for dinner. read more
