Just as good as the original! Their food is exceptional and it is a great atmosphere. Great place to go for lunch or dinner.

I first tried the food with the Food Truck. I had the Chicken Shawarma wrap and it was sssssoooo good. We tried the restaurant when it opened up on Sheridan and were not disappointed. The Chicken Shawarma was excellent and the Greek potatoes with feta cheese as a side was outstanding. Anything done as a Ke Bob is good. The wrap was just as delicous as I remembered it. The only thing I will say is that the Greek potatoes do vary in quality. I still enjoy them no matter what, but sometimes they are better than other times. Wanted to stop by here for some quick Mediterranean food to go with my partner so we drove out 10 minutes (it was a little past 9pm but Google and Yelp had hours listed until 10pm). I walk in and ask if they were open and was promptly greeted by this rude woman who stared at me blankly and said "that's why the open side lights are off". Not only was I immediately turned off by that response, but I'm not sure why they can't update their hours of operation on Google or Yelp if they didn't want to serve that late. We liked their food from Food Truck Friday's but not worth going back if they don't even have any basic manners that even McDonald's a couple of blocks down the street has. read more

Excellent food! I had the falafel combo and as someone who has lots of experience in Middle Eastern food this is the only falafel that even came close to the falafel my mother makes. Good food and good service, I will definitely be visiting again soon. read more

I've followed them at all of their locations. The food is freshly made and tasty. The new location is smaller and more intimate than Northtown. The menu has good variety. I did not order take out so no comment about that. Baba ghanouj is the best!! Friend loved the hummus. read more

We ate a late lunch here and it was delicious. The salads were fresh and yummy and everyone loved their food. We all had platters and the portions were generous (but we ate all of it). Make sure to ask for their homemade hot sauces - they are delicious. Service was good and super friendly. read more

Though all good reviews, the food was at best average. Nice environment, but not at all what authentic Mediterranean food is like. The gyro was nice, however the rice was clearly sitting for a long time and then warmed up. Nice place but authentic is not a word I would use for this cuisine. If real authentic gyro-tsaziki type food is what you're searching for, this is by far not the right place. read more

Food was inconsistent and some of the pricing is high. Lamb burger did not look (odd color) or taste like lamb. Beef dish was good. Brik was very good but too small considering it was $10. And a $19 platter does not come with pita. It turned out to be a very expensive meal considering what we had. read more

Wow, having come back to Falafel Bar after a couple of years, I'm so disappointed. While the chicken souvlaki and shawarma wrap we're still fairly tasty, the potatoes were hard and undercooked and we were charged $2.50 for the tiniest container of tzatziki ever. Given the other local options for Mediterranean food, unfortunately we don't plan on coming back here. read more

First, I have no complaints about the food. However, the customer service and communication about how to order in these "unprecedented times" is horrendous. I called and asked if we could come in and order. I was told that we had to order ahead and pay over the phone. I did. My wife got there to pick up our food and waited. She called to have someone drop off the food to our car. We called several times and received a busy signal. My wife saw a woman walk right in the establishment and walk out a few minutes later with her food. So, my wife decided to go in and pick up the food. She was scolded by a person working there because she didn't call ahead and have them come out to the car. When my wife confronted the employee about the previous woman, she said "well she could come in because she paid cash." So...it's oky to walk into your establishments you're paying cash? Then why was I told that I MUST call ahead and pay over the phone? Customer service at this place is awful. We will not be going back until everything is back to normal. read more

Staff was so helpful, and nice to explain the menu. The food was excellent. French onion soup, chicken souvlaki wrap, and grape leaves. The prices for food are very reasonable. I couldn't believe that a bottle of pino noir (dark horse) was $30 when it's only $10 at the wine store. Regardless, cute little place with fast service. read more

Great fresh homemade dishes! Vegetarans and meat eaters are all served well here. Appetizers Mesa plate are all served in separate small bowls so it's much easier to share the items. Also, great salads and a wide variety of mid eastern delights. read more

Went here for lunch with my wife, and it was fantastic. We always get a bunch of stuff when we go to a new place so we can try a little of everything. Pita/taziki sauce to start was really great. Nice warm, fresh, fluffy pita was fantastic. I got an Israeli wrap and she got the three sister. Both were terrific. I enjoyed everything about that Israeli wrap. Got bakliva for dessert. Massive portion which was awesome, and they warmed it up too which was great. It was a little syrupy which isn't bad but isn't my personal favorite for baklava, I usually like it to be more crispy. But it was still tasty and clearly home made. Overall pretty terrific. Great service, nice warm atmosphere, solid choice of music playing, smelled nice in there (kinda weird to say but if you've ever been in a smelly restaurant you know it's off-putting lol) and not to shabby on the pricing either. Kinda thought the pita and taziki for 8$ was a little much but it's all fresh made and delicious so I got over it pretty quick. When we're in the area again, 100% plan to go back!! read more

This new small restaurant has exactly what I've been looking for in buffalo for a very long time. Good food that's made fast, competent and patient employees and very tasty and quality food. I recommend stopping in to try the fresh made pita and hummus. The House made green or red hot sauce are also recommended. Be careful because it can get a little spicy! The music and ambience of the place made me feel relaxed and at ease while I enjoyed mouthfuls of this delicious food. I recommend this place highly! The Kofta beef is to die for! I as well suggest trying the shawarma wrap. In all this place is Devine! read more
