Remaining falafel wrap and mejadra rice.

Ambiance is very nice! Service was quick once I ordered. I had many questions about the wraps trying to decide which one I wanted. All questions were answered and the fried eggplant was aded to my falafel wrap. My food came out very quickly. My side was the mejadra rice. So delicious! I took half home. I will definitely be back and try a different dish. Everything sounded and looked delicious.

This place is a hidden gem. Quaint and convenient place, friendly service, and fresh and amazing food.

We had such a nice dinner here Friday night! Service was warm and friendly and the food was delicious in every way. We started with some appetizers and the mushroom hummus was such a stand out. I've never had mushroom hummus before and now I'm going to be craving it. I'm not a local so I will be thinking about my next visit to Falafel Bar for sure !! Our table had some great pita sandwiches too. I enjoyed the Chicken Baharat which is a 7 spice marinated chicken, with onions, and mushrooms, and a side of fries. I wish I could bottle it and take it home to NJ! The others at our table enjoyed their Street Falafel Pita. I wish we had time for dessert but had to rush out for a show! I highly recommend Falafel Bar if you're looking for quality, delicious tasting Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in a warm and intimate setting. And if you don't want to dine in, it looks like they also do a nice take out business as well. Enjoy! You won't be disappointed.

I used to eat at the falafel bar that was around over a decade ago and was great. This was pretty awful. The Greek potatoes were extremely undercooked and very salty. And the wraps are served on tortillas here? Absolutely wild that they're not on pitas. The falafel didn't taste fresh and was super disappointing. I don't think there is much of anything left from the original falafel bar. This place isn't worth a second try

Stopped by the summer on my birthday for a late lunch with my mom. The food was good! I'd been to the older location that was near the corner of NFBLVD and Sheridan a couple times before, but this was my first time at this location, which used to be another establishment I enjoyed. The service was good. The decor was nice. I had the chicken shawarma platter with chopped salad and majadra rice. It was delicious and very filing. I enjoyed it and would order again. My mom got a greek salad and added chicken, she said hers was good as well. I do wish they had a smaller side of hummus with maybe a half naan/pita, would've liked some, but since my mom doesn't eat it I just couldn't see getting an app of it at the price. Will return.

I have always loved this restaurant and last night wasn't anything different! I met up with some friends who had never been, and they loved it too. The waitress was so friendly when we arrived and seated us even though our party wasn't complete. The restaurant itself is small and so cozy, and decorated to emphasize this. The water on the table was served in wine-style bottles and it was very classy! I ordered the Falafel Combo and some za'tar fries, and it was delicious. The Greek salad was so fresh and crisp, the hummus was good and served with a basket of warm pita for the table. I thought the star was the falafel itself though. Crisp on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside, it was perfect. The fries were great too, and they weren't shy with the za'tar seasoning. The prices are super reasonable too, especially with how expensive everywhere else is. The service remained super friendly and helpful throughout, and my friends were happy we chose this restaurant.

Updating my review to say - this place is bomb! This time new appetizers and platters made me realize how great this spot really is. The Brik is soooo good. Chicken Shawarma didn't disappoint and I couldn't come back without having those Greek potatoes again. Also- the pita is so soft and came out warm with dinner. I always appreciate a high quality pita! Aside from the great food experience, the food all came out so quick! Lovely service. Thank you for a great experience. I will go out of my way to come back again

Although we we the first people there at 1pm for dine-in, there was a steady stream of take-out orders getting picked up, as well as other (mostly men) coming to dine. The chairs are wide and overstuffed, and the tables are just the right height. It's a, "have another bite" atmosphere. There are long prayers coming from the speakers. Even a non-Arabic speaker like me knows that, "Bismillah" doesn't rhyme! The better half's take on his kebab? "This is the best lamb I've ever had!". I thought the shwarma and fries were great, but the hummus served with warm pita, some fruity, green olive oil, and a sprinkling of sumac/ za'atar really knocked it out of the park. I was dipping my fries in it! We ended the meal with a long slice of pistachio backlava. Oh, so good!

I know Almaza is known for their rotisserie chicken, but I chose to try their other dishes on this trip. Some may feel the prices are on the higher side, but honestly the prices are quite fair. Reason being is, there was enough food to feed two people. You can dine in or just order takeout, either choice you're going to have some good food. Kibbie- I liked these handheld Lebanese beef croquettes. The seasoning was good and it does come with some sauces, but I didn't need them. I was fine with how well the croquettes tasted alone Pastelillos- I loved these meat pies..I could eat these all day Mediterranean lamb plate- The bed of rice that comes with the dish, is totally different tasting that I have ever had. Manly because of the shaved almonds, and cinnamon. But by no means, do I have any complaints. The lamb pieces with this entree was a good compliment.
