Had a lovely evening with my partner here at Oran Mor. We came for a special occasion and I'm happy we chose this location to celebrate. The ambiance was intimate and calm -- our waiter was easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the menu. We took his recommendations on drinks and dishes and are happy with the result. If you're on-island and need a good dinner, stop by!

We had a phenomenal experience here during a friend's bachelorette party. We were seated in their private space on the top floor and our service was amazing. We pre-ordered appetizers and all of our food came out so quickly. We all agreed that the kale Caesar salad was the absolutely best Caesar salad any of us have ever had. I could've eaten just that all night long. I got the fennel pasta and it was wonderful. I was so full from the appetizers that I couldn't even finish it but it was so delicious, and I can't remember what the peppers were called - I had never had that kind of pepper before and they were amazing! They were small, kind of like a grape tomato and were little bursts of flavor. Yummy! The rooftop spritz was an aperol spritz and was delicious. Exactly what I wanted on a warm summer day. Thank you for an incredible experience!

Excellent service here. The oysters were the best bite we had. However the duck felt a bit unbalanced overall and left more to be desired. Drinks were delicious.

One of the best restaurants on Nantucket Island for dinner. The restaurant is dark and cozy that makes you wanna drink some delicious wine while enjoying all their pastas. My go to is always their truffled bucatini with a Parmesan foam, it's delightful. Beat salad is always fresh and never mushy, has beautiful texture and bright flavors. Service is always great and attentive. You can never go wrong with oran mor!

Great ambience. Salad and entree were amazing. Easy to get to. Would come back to try out more items on the menu.

By far my favorite meal on Nantucket and I wish I found this restaurant sooner! A beautiful atmosphere with an interesting, but not over intimidating menu. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and even brought out a few gluten free appetizers for one member of our party when they realized she was left out. I don't have one bad thing to say about this restaurant and we returned the following day just for drinks. A must do if you're on Nantucket and an amazing experience overall.

Very lively. Waitress is very friendly, recommended daily special of raclette. It was a good recommendation. The bison is tender, chicken is tasty. A bit loud inside but conversation can flow nicely.

I thought this was going to be the most spectacular meal of the week. Thought this place was top notch and would be romantic etc. Made our reservation as soon as possible 30 days before the date. My only request was a nice table for two for a special occasion. They stuck us directly in the middle of a loud obnoxious table of 8-10ppl. I gave it a try, but we couldn't even talk to one another. Kindly got up and asked to have our table moved before we ordered. Finally, a table freed up, no problem as we are patient. They sat next us next to an even more obnoxious person annoying the table next him, but he was directly facing us. Kept shouting "Do you want to hear why he is better, we'll do you? He got louder and louder as he repeated it three times b/c the ladies he was directing the question to were ignoring him. I asked him to let it go already, and he reluctantly shut up. As they "re-set" our table the staff would say "here's your silverware-again"."here's your menu -again" once to me and then to my husband with each item. Here's your...again! Give it a rest people. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Losing our appetite by now...ordered beet salad and FENNEL ORECCHIETTE RAPINI, GARLIC, WALNUT & SUNDRIED TOMATO RED PESTO, CANDIED FENNEL SEED & PINENUT, SWEETY DROP PEPPERS. Well something "broke" in this oily mess! I picked out and ate the little peppers and some fennel the rest was trash. Excellent wine and beet salad was good and nothing special. Though and one person on staff was kind, bright and cheery. Blonde hair and a pretty blue turquoise necklace. Let's hope CRU hit's it out of the ballpark tomorrow night!

Anywho... bar and grill side does not take reservations, which is nice. We came for a later dinner, so they will check IDs at the door. I did have a little bit of difficulty finding the hostess but once I did, I was seated right away. The service was great! If you have Greyson as your server, you will be in for an AMAZING night. And the food is excellent, too!! We had an amazing array of appetizers, my favorite bings the vegetarian taquito and the feta dip. I highly recommend ordering both. The crostini and the gazpacho were also very tasty. As for my main, the eggplant pasta, I couldn't recommend it enough. Plus, there was plenty to take home for later!!! The restaurant is a bit loud in the evening because the bar is quite lively. They boast good drinks and good music! A dinner at say, 6pm, would be more calm if that is your vibe. Either way, I'll be back soon!!

The Buffalo fried fish app the waitress recommended wasn't my favorite and doesn't seem to be a dish that should be on the menu. It def felt like TGIFridays met Nantucket but not in a good way. Literally a deep fried block of fish smothered in buffalo sauce served on like a whipped blue cheese spread. Honestly, I think it was trying to elevate Buffalo when Buffalo can't be elevated. The fish entree I had was fine. Nothing out of this world. Actually quite unmemorable. Overall, $90 for 2 dishes that were fine, the app being even on a don't order suggestion, is a little jarring. Service and ambiance was great. I love the comp bread and little dip amuse bouche. Overall, fine. I think I ordered wrong, but I do think there are some better value and more exciting food happening at other places.

And of course we had a number of decent beers on tap from Cisco Brewers. They seem to tend towards lightness, minimal hoppiness: good summer brews for warm weather. We started with the lobster and caviar Hawaiian roll, which was flavorful and delicious. The grilled octopus served over pork and white beans was another standout--the flavor profile here was top tier. Honestly, the appetizers had me expecting the rest of the meal to be on the same level. Unfortunately, the entrées were a different story. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly temperature-wise, but the lack of seasoning was unbelievable. The execution was there, but it desperately needed flavor. We also ordered the halibut, which was extremely dry--to the point that I couldn't finish it. The sides brought things back around. The jalapeño corn and Brussels sprouts were both and packed with flavor. And then there was the Filthy Dirty Rich Martini with caviar-stuffed olives --AMAZING. Easily one of the highlights of the night and something I would absolutely order again. Overall, 19 Raw nails the ambiance, cocktails, appetizers, and service. The appetizers in particular showed just how good the kitchen can be, which made the disappointing entrées even more surprising. I'd come back, but next time I might stick to cocktails, appetizers, and small plates.
