The actors are fun and you can tell they absolutely love doing what they do. They are there to make everyone happy including themselves and their fellow castmates. There is a bar with drinks and snacks, we've even seen shirts for sale! We are considering purchasing a "B Season Pass" so we don't miss out on the shows this coming year, some sell out fast! I hate to even give a great review because I don't want people to buy up all the seats from under us, but yet I want to also give this theater a huge and happy round of applause for being FANTASTIC!! It was the best surprise- I had no idea until we arrived. The Maverick puts on this play every year and it is outstanding. Their seasons always bring unique, quirky shows. From King Kong to Rocky Horror to Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. There is always something cool happening. Brian, the owner, is dedicated to theater and is a friendly, welcoming guy. The staff and actors are wonderful as well. Probably our favorite local theater.

It was so much fun, the audience was involved and we had a Q&A beforehand which was neat to learn some background of the movie. The venue has plenty of seating out in the happy hour area where you can grab a drink and snacks. Prices were reasonable, popcorn, pretzels, movie snacks, as well as more sufficient foods like pizza, flatbreads, and burgers. Parking is fairly easy in and out. We were coming in just as Angel Stadium was getting out (and it was packed Angel's vs. Dodgers) but entry was still seemless. Great venue, awesome people, and an overall amazing event last night!!!

I am a comic starting out and I had always heard about the mic here from other comics and I am going to start doing it now. The decor was awesome. It is a real comedy club in Bellflower. It was our first show here. I booked the tix a few hours before the show, no issues purchasing online. Keep in mind, the Improv club is a part of spectrum mall. We arrived a few mins before show start, walked a bit and luckily found it immediately. Irvine is a bit sleepy for night life. The comedian did roast Irvine and himself for that lol. When we arrived, they gave us the option to sit closer to the front or in the back. We decided that night to be in the safe zone and retreated to the back lol 2 drink minimum. Good and attentive service. Would recommend for date night or group outings. I'll be back soon once I check the lineup!

We waited almost 40 minutes for them, and at $18 each, I expected much better. My boyfriend's drink tasted like there was no alcohol in it at all, and mine was so sweet it tasted more like artificial juice than a cocktail. On top of that, my glass arrived completely sticky, as if the drink had spilled while being carried to the table. The entire outside of the glass was covered in syrup and was unpleasant to hold. After that experience, we decided not to order any food. Seeing one cocktail that tasted alcohol free and another served in such poor condition didn't exactly inspire confidence in the rest of the menu. Maybe the food is great, but after waiting so long for disappointing drinks, we weren't interested in finding out. The comedy show itself was fantastic and we had a lot of laughs, but the drinks definitely took away from what could have been an even better night.

House of Blues, located on the 4th floor of GardenWalk Plaza next to AMC, is a great addition and…read morehas already hosted a couple of concerts I really enjoyed in 2026. With doors opening about an hour before the concert, the GA line tends to be longer than expected, and most of the venue is standing-room-only unless you opt for "premium" price for seats. Even so, the "standing only" crowd is usually respectful, and despite the tight space, the atmosphere stays fun. But, for short folks like myself, can be a major disadvantage as crowds beginning to move toward the front and blocking the view. From a concert going perspective, wear comfortable shoes is best as you're standing through the two+ hours. The ventilation is okay so you could get warm fairly quickly. Plus, there's four bar stations throughout the venue so there's no shortage of drinks for purchase (snacks are available, too). Overall, I like that the parking garage is attached to the HOB along with many other shops. HOB representatives also offered discounts parking -- so you pay $8 for unlimited parking (rather than $4/hour).
