Taiwanese fried snacks and bento boxes. It's confusing cause you might think it's orange chicken Chinese food but it's snacks you would get in Taiwan. My husband has been to Taiwan and said the food is pretty legit. I got a sampler of different snacks and I think the taro balls with eggs inside that burst in my mouth was the best. The milk tea was also good. The only thing is that it's very salty but some people like that kind of food. Lots of DoorDash orders to go. We got a donut from Randy's across the street. Nice way to spend the day after going to Central Park in Santa Clara.
You can't miss Orange Square on the corner! Pretty big space and lots of seating. We came on a Sunday night and were the only ones in the restaurant- slow night. I was a little frustrated considering we were the only ones there, the cashier took some time to acknowledge us as they were scrolling through their phone. Otherwise our order came out fast! Ordered the Salt & Pepper Basil Popcorn chicken- not bad, enjoyed the light batter however had clumps of batter and the seasonings were a little heavy for my liking. I think I would order the bowl next time so that I could eat this with rice. I would come by to try the other options!
I was looking for someplace to grab braised pork belly from after a gym session and this place popped up. It looked promising, so I made an online order and drove over - knowing it was quite far from where I was and from where I needed to head to next. But, the promise of good food is always a motivator! I ended up getting a deluxe braised pork belly rice bowl and the slow braised pork stew since I wanted to see what was the difference. The prices were a great value for what I ended up getting. I enjoyed the bowl more than the bento box - the bowl packed quite a bit of things in it for such a great price! The pork stew bento was good, but it wasn't as flavorful as the pork belly. I also got a thai tea, which tasted like that tea you get in a can. It wasn't bad, but way too sweet and left an aftertaste. The restaurant is located in its own little space with ample parking both in front and around the building. It's a little oddly configured, as the front entrance is not near either parking areas, but around the side facing onto the street. I walked around the building from the parking lot, getting anxious since I didn't see the door where I thought it was supposed to be. Inside, there's plenty of space to sit if you're dining in. I was able to grab my order from the front quickly and was back in my car all within five minutes. Overall, I'd come back and try a few other dishes that looked good, but only if I'm in the area as it's a bit of a drive.
A friend and I wanted to try a taiwanese spot and we heard of Orange Square from mutuals. As you enter, there is a screen kiosk where you can view the menu and order your food. There are a variety of bento box styled meals and rice bowls to select from. The menu is also accessible on the hanging signs behind the register area. Once you order, it is self serve for seating arrangements. Each table has a number, and to be honest, I am not sure how they can tell where to deliver the food, but likely due to the lack of customers, they were able to spot where to drop the food off. Service was pretty quick, maybe maximum 8-10 minutes after ordering. Water and extra condiments are self-serve. My friend ordered the five spices chicken cutlet square, while I got the deluxe braised pork rice bowl. My friend enjoyed his chicken cutlet square, however for my braised pork rice bowl, I thought it was quite oily, overwhelming much of the flavor. By the nature of pork belly, which is quite fatty, most other places I am able to taste more of the flavor, but the shear amount of oily-ness was kind of a downer for me. They give you a lot of rice in the bowl as well, so the lacking flavor from the pork on top of the oily rice was not it for me. Overall, I would maybe try Orange Square again but would not order that rice bowl. It was just okay...
I've had this place bookmarked for awhile. My daughter and son-in-law live in the area so I've been bugging them to try it with me but they've been resistant. Finally I just decided to go by myself and see if it lived up to the reviews. I came during lunch and it was a ghost town. I was literally the only customer there except for the Doordasher picking up a delivery order. Parking is plentiful except we just had a decent rain storm that left a large part under water. The interior is bright, modern and clean. When you walk in, you're met with menus posted on a glass partition at eyelevel along with an ordering kiosk. I've mentioned this before, and I'll mention it again. Ordering kiosks are so unfriendly. I did see someone poke their head out and smile at me, but that was the only customer service I received. I placed my order and waited. When my items were ready for pick up the employee literally said my number set my bag down on the counter and walked away. I was standing right In front of her. I could understand if they were really busy, but how hard is it to make your customer feel welcome? Needless to say, I grabbed my bag and off I went. Here's what I ordered: TERIYAKI CHICKEN BOWL $15++ White rice was cooked well and there was A LOT of it under the chicken. Along with the rice was some sautéed cabbage, two pieces of broccoli, one piece of red pepper and a single cherry tomato. Not sure if that was supposed to be a salad and a soy egg half. This part was fine but basic. Let's talk about the teriyaki chicken. There was a decent amount but why oh why is the slimy, mushy, fatty skin left on it? It completely grossed me out. I pulled as much off as I could but a few pieces slipped passed me and I just couldn't finish eating it. Sorry Orange Square. This was a big no for me.
Came here for the very first time to try out some Vietnamese food. The food was very delicious and flavorful, it was bit on the sweeter side. Portion was generous. It was quite a busy restaurant with a very clean surrounding. They served the food very fast and placing order was very easy as it was all computerized. Would definitely come again. They had a very good parking just in front of the restaurant. This restaurant is located just next to the Santa Clara Library.
I ordered the basil popcorn chicken and boba for take out on UberEats, they had a BOGO for the popcorn chicken and boba. (we ate a box in the car) Really good value, but the food was okay. Good portion size for the cost. The chicken was crispy, the batter was seasoned. At the store they have spices on the side that you can add to the chicken. Very standard, chicken was neither moist or dry, not a lot of flavor in the meat, probably needed to be marinated a bit longer maybe? For the value and portion size, can't complain. The milk tea is not as fragrant as other boba, it was on the darker side, but could not taste a lot of the notes that you usually get from assam tea. At least it was not watered down. The boba was soak in sugar and was on the sweeter side. Most of the boba had good texture a bit chew, but I had a few that were a bit dried up and hard, it lost its chewiness. Overall not too bad for the price.
Tasty delicious food! Bit of a wait time but it's worthwhile. Braised pork chop rice bowl: 5/5 Got the food to go! The pork belly is extremely soft and melts in your mouth and the rice is plump and flavorful because it's absorbed the pork belly sauce. The egg is well marinated as well. The veggies are .. just veggies but they added a cute carrot star so that earns a few points in my book. C: The bowl held up well during transportation and the food was still enjoyable even when it got a little cold during the ride back home! Service: It did take a while for the food to get ready at the restaurant but there's plenty of room in the waiting area. Ambiance: Not heavily decorated. You're here for the food not the ambiance. There is a lot is seating available so feel free to come in groups. I heard the milk tea at this spot is tasty so I'll have to come back to try that.
We were passing by and decided to pop into this spot to try something new and we're glad we did. They had a lot of bento style options and the food was delicious. Service was quick and attentive. The place it self is big, but there were some concerns of cleanliness near the kitchen and in the bathroom.
It's been long overdue, but I gave them another try after their opening and am now a regular customer. I usually get the chicken leg bento deal on Wednesdays, which is a great deal. The bento comes with a chicken leg, rice, and some small side dishes. The wait times are quite long on those days though, so I recommend ordering ahead of time online. They also do other holiday promotions such as the free boba refills and ice cream. Most of them are good deals, besides the Thanksgiving cornish chicken (which is on the smaller side for the price). Their classic boba tea is also less sweet compared to other places I've had, which I do like. Usually I get food to go, but they have kiosks to order and then you can grab a seat to dine in; everything is self served. Overall I would recommend trying Orange Square for some authentic Taiwanese food.
Quick service with a convenient to-go ordering system. Very well priced with good portions, and I appreciated the packaging. The highlight for me was the delicious cabbage side dish--super crunchy and flavorful. Overall, I was really happy with everything.
I've been wanting to try this place for probably 2 years but just never got around to doing so. After seeing the holiday surprise bag, I quickly took advantage by ordering two items we've been interested in - the basil S&P popcorn chicken snack and the pot roast beef brisket square. The set also came with a drink and I chose the "winter melon lemon aiyu (decaf") with 0% ice and 0% sugar. This was pretty good too and still mildly sweet. It does say "must have sugar" with 30% as the lowest option if I were to order it a la carte online, so I'm not certain if it the sweetness primarily came from the sugar rather than the fruits after all. The popcorn chicken is very well-seasoned, crispy outside, and juicy inside. Even after the 15-minute drive home, it retained a crisp. I'm pretty sure I clicked spicy but perhaps I misremembered as it didn't come with the spice powder on the side, and since everything was packaged well, I didn't notice. Pot roast beef brisket is incredibly tender and savory and came mixed with carrots, green beans, and daikon. The other sides were some broccoli, a cut of egg roll, a succotash of corn and edamame, and cabbage with red bell peppers and what seemed to be wood ear mushrooms. The egg roll and succotash were covered in some sort of sweet sauce that was a bit sticky. After leaving the box in the fridge, I noticed the sides had some gelatin in it (just like the meat) so they probably poured the sauce or liquid from the pot-roasted meat into the sides! Also as a side note, the container that the square now comes in says it's microwave-safe for up to 4 minutes. Will definitely return to try some of the other options!

Can't miss this place as you drive by, Orange Square is located on the corner of Homestead and Las Palmas Drive. They also have a huge Orange Square sign out front with a handful of parking - the entrance is on the opposite side of the parking lot. What I got: - 5 spices fried chicken cutlet box: 4/5 - the 5 spice was not seasoned throughout the entire cutlet but mainly on the middle parts on each piece, thicker pieces so not as tender, but overall flavorful. The sides that came with it were uniquely different but good. - braised pork rice bowl: 4/5 - pretty loaded bowl - very flavorful braised pork, sausage was good, broccoli was cooked al dente. - golden egg yolk taro balls: 5/5 - the outside had the perfect soft crunch. The inside, the egg yolk complemented the taro really well - surprisingly really good! - fresh taro milk tea w/ taro chunks: 3/5 - was on the plainer side, a bit flavorless and tasted more like chunky taro thrown in a cup of milk. Overall, great place to grab some Taiwanese food - tons of variety and options with huge portions and great value. read more
Came here for lunch on a Thursday and there weren't that many people actually inside the store, but they had A LOT of doordash orders that they were preparing. Took about 15 minutes to get my food from ordering in the restaurant, which isn't bad because then I know the food is fresh rather than them just scooping it and having it just sit out. I totally thought that this was a boba shop that just happened to serve food as well, but I was wrong. They're a full on restaurant will boba. Parking: It's located on the edge of Homestead & a residential street, but they have their own dedicated parking lot so I don't think it would be an issue finding a seat. Service: The cashier was very nice and it's nice that they have a little microphone intercom system installed in the plastic because I feel like 95% of the time I can't hear from the plastic barrier and need to bend down or to the side to hear the order confirmation and questions. Cute Taiwanese bento boxes! - S06 Golden egg yolk taro ball: If you like sweet and salty and fried, this will be your jam! Gooey salted egg mingled with creamy taro in a fried ball of perfection. 5/5 - B02 Slow braised pork belly square: Ours came sliced, which was great because we didn't have to do it ourselves! Tender and fatty the way a good braised pork belly should be. 4/5 - B04 Five spices fried chicken cutlet: Delish! Good five spice flavor. I ordered mine medium spicy and didn't think it was spicy at all (and I'm kinda a spice wimp). Sprinkled on some of the chili powder that came with our meal and it was perfect. Next time, I'll try the spicy level. 4/5 Good portion sizes. We were impressed by the generous side servings of veggies that were cooked perfectly al dente. Great restaurant for Taiwanese style bentos and snacks! My bf and I tried their marinated pork chop square, and it was a pretty filling lunch between the two of us. It includes three large breaded pork chops thats coated in a sweet soy marinade, a side of rice, steamed veggies, sweet meatball, and Taiwanese golden kimchi (?). The pork chops are tender and bursting with flavor, just watch out for bones! The veggies are really good too, I only skipped the kimchi - just wasn't for me. Overall, it was a tasty afternoon meal and I plan to come back and try more of their menu! A Yelp Elite event brought me to Orange Square for the first time, and I loved the food! They were super generous and offered a wide variety of items for me to choose from, so I got: - Grill Chicken Square Bento - the bento included two grilled chicken squares (wow huge portions!) and the sides were unique and tasty (there was a refreshing mustard-flavored napa cabbage kimchi, pickled daikon, hot stir-fried cabbage, and cold tofu in peanut sauce). Enjoyed the chicken thigh and drumstick, which was moist and had a sweet glaze with a sprinkling of sesame seeds. - Char-Grilled Taiwanese Sausage - This comes on a skewer with a clove of garlic, and it was the right balance of fat/sweet/salt, and provides a slight crispness when you bite into it. Personally prefer my Taiwanese sausages to have more char though - Deluxed Braised Pork Rice Bowl - this was yummy! I loooove Taiwanese Lo Ba Bung, and this was a really great version - the pork was high quality and the sauce was delicious! Orange Square's version comes with extra sides - a serving of perfectly cooked broccoli, sliced sausage, and a soy sauce hardboiled egg. Really yummy and satisfying! - Fresh Grapefruit Green Tea - I got this with 25% sweetness and 0 ice, and it was fantastic. Not only is the portion much bigger than I expected, it was very crisp and refreshing I loved the food and would definitely recommend it! read more
I liked Orange Square! The concept of bento boxes at a restaurant is fun and cute. It's definitely a more casual place. I saw more people ordering to-go, but they have limited seating inside. Keep in mind that they close at 8/8:30 PM. We ordered and sat inside. It took about 20-25 minutes for our orders to be made, which is not how long I would've expected from a restaurant where you order at a counter and sit down. But then again, the dishes involve different kinds of meat, and that can take time to prepare on top of the other orders. I got the Slow-Braised Pork Belly Square. This was insanely tasty. The pork belly truly melted in my mouth with each mouth-watering bite. I highly recommend this fatty meat if you're looking for the most savory option. Keep in mind they also have a wide selection of teas instore. I got the Super Fruit Tea with boba, and it was the perfect cool and sweet drink to pair with the saltiness of the bento box. read more

They are offering " free milk tea for a year"** with caveats of course, so do check their offer out! The bento boxes and snacks have that homeland flavor and they fill it up to the brim! Definitely give this place a shot. Their teas are a bit basic compared to other stores but the highlight is definitely the food/snacks! read more

Really cute and clean seating area with booths! Both the chicken cutlet and the pork belly were really good. Flavorful and crispy chicken, pork belly was unctuous. The food came out in a relatively nice amount of time and still hot and fresh so I like how fast their service is. The side dishes were pretty good but some were a little under seasoned. The radish and meat/shrimp cakes were good but the tofu/veggie one a bit bland though cooked well. I got the classic boba tea with black tea and honey boba (because it's Taiwanese so it'll probably be legit good or at least decent right..) but it was extremely watery. The boba was decent flavor wise but slightly hard. Which is odd because this place seems to be big on drinks too. read more

The creamer is dairy free, so vegans can enjoy to their hearts content haha Cheese creama obv has dairy. Despite hearing about this restaurant for a year this is the first time I visited them, lured in by their anniversary special of unlimited milk tea in summer. Heck I don't even drink that much milk tea! But the cup was quite cute... So I timed it at 9pm on a Wednesday night to place my pickup order on Friday and luckily I made it! I heard that as time progressed my friend couldn't place an order 10 minutes after 9 and it became impossible to order in Thursday even they tried at 9pm sharp. So they sent me as their delegate I suppose. The pickup was easy and uneventful and the food was a few minutes ready before my pickup time. I have to say though despite the huge sign on the street, the interior of the restaurant seemed a bit underwhelming, largely because they resegmented the place to cater for takeout orders, so dine in area seems small and not appealing. The milk tea I got impressed me a bit as I could taste honey and fresh milk, which is milkier than some other places. The boba was soft and chewy. So a good start. I ordered the delux ground pork over rice and the top of the bowl was covered with all sorts of toppings like sausage slices, vegetables, egg, ground meat. My kid was impressed with the star shaped carrot and I was impressed that my kid, a carb lover actually finished all the toppings and not just the rice. The fried taro ball on the other hand failed to impress us. I appreciated all the efforts of going into it and it's not an easy dish, but we just prefer the simple fried taro sticks from O2 Valley (more expensive though). Next time I want to try their check menu keg bento and it's signature dish, along with the free milk tea! read more

Such a clean store with all the best Taiwanese bento options. Really nice entryway you can see the transformation of the space compared to what was here prior. The food options were good to boot. Having opened recently this year it's been on my list for some time. Compared to O2 valley and some other competitor bento places , I will say I'm going to rank Orange Square at the top! Skip the others and come here for your popcorn chicken, your pork chop :-) the braised pork was the best I've ever had in the states They put lots of effort into the presentation and packaging for a to go picnic would be amazing! read more

I was lured by the beautiful website and menu, and ordered at least $50 to try all the food. Marinated pork chop bento 1/5: The soy sauce and the seasoning are just not right. (speaking as a Taiwanese) The pork chop is just too oily!!! Not edible. Throw the whole thing away. Popcorn chicken 2/5: I like how there is basil, but the chicken is so small. You only get a little meat part. Pot roasted beef brisket bento 1/5: I am surprised they claim it's their signature, so I tried it. It turns out, it was so bad that I had to throw the whole thing away. All the side dishes 1/5: Unfortunately, they are not authentic. I think broccoli tastes better with just boiling than their seasoning. The radish dishes look refreshing but taste oily. The wood ear mushroom is weird too. Overall their seasoning it just terrible. I am sorry! Oolong milk tea 2/5: Very basic Golden egg york taro ball 4/5: Not bad, but I think there is not enough of egg york. It's about the contrast of the salty egg york and the matching with the taro, but this is not good enough. Packaging 5/5: Focus a lot on the packaging, and well packaged, and the branding is nice. read more

I really wanted to try Orange Square after seeing a couple of really positive reviews on their page. I was in the mood for authentic Taiwanese food (what's new?) and decided today was the day. I ordered on their website and it was very easy to see their entire menu selection. My order included: pot-roasted beef brisket square, braised chopped pork rice bowl, slow braised pork stew square, basil s&p popcorn chicken, golden crispy tofu cube, classic milk tea with boba, and osq super fruit tea (both drinks I adjusted to 50% sugar). Every single dish was delicious, and I don't say that lightly. The beef was so tender and tasted homemade. Their pork rice bowl was everything I wanted and more: very flavorful pork with just enough sauce to soak up the rice. I wasn't as impressed with the braised pork, but it was still tasty. Both the popcorn chicken and crispy tofu were amazing in texture and flavor, even when I reheated the leftovers! As for the 2 drinks, they were a great pair to all the delicious food. There are obviously better boba and tea places in the Bay, but I really liked the convenience it provided to just order everything from one restaurant instead of making another stop. I do think they accidentally gave us 100% sugar instead of the requested 50% because both drinks ended up being sweeter than we originally wanted, but they were still good. In conclusion, I highly recommend Orange Square as your one-stop shop for all your Taiwanese street food/snack cravings! The entire concept of the shop and the quality of the food makes me want to go back again and again. read more

We came try this place on Thursday, not too busy in the store but a lot of people order to go. You can just come in and seat yourself. Scan the menu on the table and order from your phone. We ordered the grill chicken leg bento and slow braised pork stew bento eat in the store, and have the pot-roasted beef brisket stew on the side. All of the orders are so tasty. The bento boxes are so cute and sized the portion well. I enjoyed the honey glacéd chicken leg so much and the beef brisket is so tender. Price is fairly reasonable for the food portion. I ended up having the leftovers to go cause I was too full from the appetizer in my bento. They have garlic beans, sweet and sour egg roll, and wood-ear salad. I would definitely come back to try more dishes when I am around the area next time. read more

As an individual of Taiwanese descent, I was so excited to try out Orange Square, which has a glowing reputation for being one of the BEST places for Taiwanese food in the Bay Area. I definitely was not disappointed with how authentic and high quality the bentos, snacks and drinks were. Here's what I tried: Salmon teriyaki bento: they definitely weren't lying when they said that they used sashimi grade salmon here, and I love how you can have the option of half cooked/fully cooked! I went with the fully cooked option, and I loved how crispy and perfectly pan fried the salmon was. They also give you quite an assortment of traditional Taiwanese side dishes, and I really like the variety and how it balanced out the stronger flavors of the salmon. Taiwanese sausage: wished I got more than just one because this was just SO good and authentic! I loved how flavorful and on point the traditional Taiwanese sausage was, and how they made the effort to include a garlic clove (which sausage is traditionally eaten with in Taiwan). Popcorn chicken: pretty good standard popcorn chicken in a huge serving! Would recommend if you don't want to go out of your comfort zone. Starry sky / wintermelon: definitely very refreshing drinks, and I loved how they had the softest jelly included as a topping. The wintermelon is one of the few authentic ones that I've tried in the bay, so definitely would recommend checking that out! Definitely make sure to check out Orange Square if you're craving authentic Taiwanese street food, and support a small, local, and Asian owned business! read more

I've driven past orange square multiple times, always telling myself that I should go try it out sometime. I finally had a chance to get a bento and boba. Parking shouldn't be an issue, and the wait time for lunch at 1:30pm on a weekend was pretty quick. Place is super cute with the presentation, and actually feels like a piece of Asia landed in San Jose. I ordered a pot roasted beef brisket as the bento, and it was pretty similar to what you'd expect to get at a Chinese restaurant. The pot roast taste and texture definitely is there. The meat consistency is adult chewable and full of flavor. However, I feel kind of ripped off since half of the "meat" is tendon (which I'm not a big fan of). I was expecting more meat, as the flavor and texture is there, but was disappointed. Given the price point of $14.99, I was expecting more meat than just 50%. The veggies and other things included are cute and tasty, but I can't help but wonder that it's mainly procured for pictures and *aesthetics*. The portions were overall smaller in comparison to other similarly priced bentos. I ordered a Tiger Thai Milk Tea, and it tasted a little watered down. Although the description may say otherwise, it just tasted like Thai tea, but a little more watered down; I couldn't really taste any Assam. The boba consistency is really good though! With every chew, it has a little "springy" effect and bounces back between your teeth. They also were sweet by themselves, which was nice compared to some other boba pearls I've had. I was a little disappointed they didn't offer indoor dining, but was told they would start Friday, 6/11/21. I ended up eating in Westfield before shopping :( This place is super good for boba, but their bentos can definitely be better. It's basically Chinese comfort food, and really does remind me of China and Taiwan when I see the presentation and taste. My rating is low because I really felt like $16 for a few pieces of braised brisket was too much, factoring in their portion sizes. read more

I've been meaning to go try this place but was afraid of the opening crowd. Luckily I was able to get some from a Facebook buying group, so I could try the food without risking long wait. I tried the 3 bento boxes, with beef stew, pork chop, and chicken leg. At first glance I was shocked at how much food they give. I had 2 meals per bento box and was stuffed each time. The side dishes also had a good variety of items. I was initially skeptical of the chicken leg because it looked a bit dry and overcooked, but once I actually tried it I found it was very tender and flavorful! I am always excited to find new bento + boba places since I love a one-stop shop! Overall the food is fantastic, but the drinks were mediocre. Currently, you can pre-order meals on their website. You can order ahead for the next day after 8pm. They currently do not use any delivery services and also are not open for dine- in yet, and don't have any outdoor seating. Bento Boxes come in an cute, photogenic box, with rice, and a few small sides * SEARED FRESH SALMON TERIYAKI SQUARE (MEDIUM COOKED, SASHIMI GRADE FISH * 5 plus stars! No lie when they say it's sashimi-grade fish. This cut of salmon was so insanely tender, of quality expected of a fancy sit-down restaurant. It is pricey for a bento at $18.99 but totally worth it. Often when bento boxes offer fish, it's a thin overcooked slice, but this was a insanely thick, juicy, rich flavored salmon. I'll definitely order this again! * GRILL CHICKEN LEG SQUARE * 3 stars- Chicken leg is a good sized cut, and well-flavored, but it was overcooked, firm, and not tender or juicy. Rice Bowl: * BRAISED CHOPPED PORK RICE BOWL * 5 stars! - comes with tea egg and a few pieces of broccoli. Each little piece of chopped pork had both meat and fat to it which made it so delicious and hearty. The sauce they use is very addictive DRINKS- currently doesn't seem like a way to customize to make hot drinks, or to eliminate/change toppings * Jasmine Milk Tea - ack I was so disappointed, especially after how amazing the food was, but this was a less than mediocre tea that tasted watered down at 30% sweet and lacked any substantial tea flavor * Coffee Milk Tea at 30%- this drink just tasted too sugary and lacked substantial coffee flavor. Overall- I wouldn't come here just for the drinks, but the food was excellent and this is still probably one of the best bento+boba places in the area. Taiwanese bento boxes served in little cute square boxes. Who woulda knew? Currently, Orange Square is offering takeout only. No dine-in, though they have a nice, renovated dining area. No outdoor seating. Online pre-orders and in-person orders only. No phone orders or 3rd party app orders during the soft opening. For the soft opening, I was really impressed at how organized the staff were especially with controlling the traffic flow and ensuring social distancing with arrows, floor markers, and stanchion belts. Before opening, staff went outside to greet customers in line and hand out menus. I ordered in person at opening time and my order was ready in about 10 minutes. After placing your order inside, you're asked to wait outside in the designated waiting area. They have a speaker outside and will call your number when your order is ready to be picked up inside. If you pre-order online, you'll receive a text when your order is ready. Overall, excellent Taiwanese bento boxes (currently, my fav in the South Bay) with great service and covid safety protocols, making it a welcome addition to the area. read more
I gave Orange Square a chance as I noticed it was Taiwanese boba shop and compared it to another boba shop which is top 5 on my list of favorite spots. I had expected the same outcome but was immediately disappointed. I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea which didn't have the taste of floral notes that I am used to getting. The boba was good; it was sweetened perfectly and had the right amount of chewiness to it. The overall tea, on the other hand, did not work for me. The wait was quite long after ordering due to takeout orders. All in all, it was nice to try a different boba spot but I would consider it a pass. read more
Got an osmanthus oolong tea with lychee pulp, 50% sweet, no ice ($4.36). This tea is a touch bitter, and next time I'd get 75% sweet -- a rarity, for me. Also, some of the lychee bits had trouble making it into the straw. I'd still give it a 4.5/5 as is. Really surprised to see that they have a full blown boba tea menu online, range of offerings on par with a boba-only place. I'll definitely have to come back and try their milk tea, slushies, and cheese foam drinks, their 2-5pm mon-fri bogo happy hour special seems like a great deal. read more

What's the ingredient of the super fruit tea? Does it have added sugar even when no sugar is selected at checkout?
Strawberry, lime, orange, watermelon, lemon, passion fruit, mango chunks and green tea. If you select no sugar, we do not add any additional syrup, but the fruits and the juices will be naturally sweet.
Is chicken square breast meat or dark? Any white meat chicken on menu?
