French Toast with Strawberries and Whipped cream.

Cute place and tasty food. We loved watching the "regulars" enter and the staff call out to them. So lovely when the entire restaurant sang Happy Birthday to one of the regulars in a red, white and blue sequened vest. It reminded me of a small-town restaurant you would find back home in Ohio. A lovely way to experience a positive a hometown community. We had the 2 egg breakfast with Grits and Sausage pattys and the French toast with strawberries and sausage. The Staff worked well with each other and we plan to go return soon.

I've lived in the area for a long time and never went to this breakfast place, from the minute I walked in. I was treated like royalty. I have not had a decent breakfast for less than $15 outside of my own home. This was six dollars and it was amazing. I highly recommend.

Cozy little diner across the street from a medical plaza. Nice place to relax and grab some breakfast. The service was attentive and friendly. It seems to be women-owned and run, which is a plus, of course. My scrambled eggs and corned beef hash were pretty average, though they cooked a nice crust into to the hash. The butter on my toast tasted unsalted, so I didn't finish the rest. My favorite dish I had was the short stack of pancakes. Two giant, fluffy pancakes, perfectly sweet and savory. I was told that the daughter of the family makes them the best, so I'm glad she cooked for me. 10/10 pancakes, next time will try the blueberry. Good coffee, too.

Good service. Local old school feel vibes. They kinda heavy handed with the butter margarine but next time we will ask for it on the side. Comfort food dining.

    Eggs with cheese

This was the worst breakfast/brunch experience I've had in a long time. The staff were wonderful , attentive and explained the menu and specials clearly, my friend and I did not enjoy my food at all. The French toast had scrambled eggs all around the toast and the eggs tasted like it wasn't made to order. The pastrami it self was good, just not as a sandwich. For me, nothing tasted like home made.

Great hidden breakfast spot. The service is very friendly and the food is inexpensive. Bring cash as they are cash only.

Quick. Cheap. Tasty. What more could you ask for? Only reason 4/5 is some of their items can use some work (like the french toast).

The food was okay for a breakfast but the staff was rude and unfriendly. No hello, thank you or you're welcome. Would not go back.

The restaurant is also clean and had spacious seating. The restaurant is also down the street from my house so it's very easily accessible. I came here with my bestie who was visiting from NY. Loved the Kale Tonic. I had the Market Hash which was delicious! My friend had the traditional breakfast, which she enjoyed. We ordered the Million Dollar Bacon. It was very good but not crispy at all. Next time I'll tell them to crisp it up. Always a pleasurable experience coming here.

The reason is simple: this location consistently delivers exceptional customer service, every single visit. As a manager myself, I couldn't help but notice how genuinely engaged the staff seemed, so I asked to speak with the manager. I had to find out the secret. His name was Willie, and he shared that he makes it a point to motivate his team during their pre-shift meetings. My husband, who is also a small business owner, pointed out that it likely starts even earlier, at the hiring stage. Whatever the formula is, it is absolutely working. In the world we live in today, it is truly refreshing to encounter people who clearly love what they do. Willie and his team are a shining example of what great leadership looks like from the inside out. Well done, First Watch Lauderhill.
