I was a first timer and after reading the reviews, I was a little skeptical. The place is very small, but the staff is very friendly with good service. I had breakfast which is served all day. Thought the place was acceptable until the most recent, and last, visit. It's true, the "cash only" is very inconvenient, the waitress never offers refills, and the place is kind of dingy, but the food was ok. Until this time. Bread was stale and all of a sudden--hair in my French fries! I showed it to the waitress and she snatched the plate away. Not a word. No offer to replace it, no apology; she actually seemed upset for some reason. Not sure why--I was the one who was totally grossed out and left hungry. Bizarre experience! Never again! read more

My wife, mother in law and I had brunch at the Orange Tree. The food is great and the prices are very low. It is family owned; the owner was our waitress.The staff were very friendly and gave us good service. A couple of things to note: - they do not take credit cards (which probably helps with the low prices) - it is a small restaurant and can get busy at peak times We will definitely be back. read more

Nice diner. Family owned. It gets pretty busy on Sunday mornings. Solid food though, it has the usual breakfast flare here. No frills and whistles. They don't accept cards so make sure you have cash but you don't need much which is a plus. I wish the service was better and faster but it does have an old school flare that is admirable. read more

Pretty dissatisfied with my breakfast. My food was cold and was extremely tasteless. There were 5 people in our party and everyone was dissatisfied. I always chose a local diner over a Denny's or IHOP and this place was a mistake. I always use yelp when I'm looking for a new place and it has never failed me, until now. Awful!!! Utterly disgusting. The floors look like they have not been washed in a month. The French Toast was soggy yet burned. Broken tables and counter stools. This place is falling apart and is in need of oh so many things....a good pressure wash inside, an attentive wait staff...we never got a refill on our drinks, and someone that knows how to cook.
