    17 oz Ribeye

Orchid Steakhouse is an Italian-inspired upscale steakhouse located on East Third Street in Bethlehem. It's open Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Friday and Saturday from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. I stopped in for the first time on Friday night and was thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent, and the service from the entire staff, especially our servers Becca and Cody, was truly top notch. I started with the bone marrow risotto and the scallops appetizer. The risotto was rich, creamy, and full of deep savory flavor, while the scallops were perfectly cooked and beautifully balanced, with a subtle kick from the wasabi mashed. For my steak I went with the 17 oz ribeye, cooked to a flawless medium rare. Every bite was juicy and delicious. For sides, I chose ricotta creamed asparagus and lobster mac. The asparagus was tender and luxuriously coated in a velvety ricotta sauce, and the lobster mac arrived piping hot and super creamy. Both were great accompaniments to my steak. From start to finish, my dining experience at Orchid Steakhouse was exceptional. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu.

Phenomenal steakhouse. Highly recommend a reservation prior. Drinks are always simple but delicious (they make less sugary cocktails which is a plus for me). Appetizers are solid. Steaks are always cooked perfectly. My friends and I commonly get one of the larger steaks such as the tomahawk or porterhouse and they are always well seasoned and not soaked in butter like a lot of other places. Desserts are also very good. Honestly , I have never had a bad experience or disappointing dish here.

Amazing Mother's Day dinner. Best food and drink in the Lehigh Valley! Great service from our server Becca and her assistant (can't remember her name). Becca made some great recommendations! Thank you to Chef Gashi for checking in on us.

    Just me eating the steak.

This was just an OK Steakhouse. Nothing over-the-top yet it wasn't terrible. I have to give the staff five stars all the way they were fantastic and also the manager was amazing. Very pleasant atmosphere but the food was just OK. Much better steakhouses in the Lehigh Valley. It was not good enough for me to return.

    Cute place.

Definitely a super cute spot with food just as great as the atmosphere. We started with the meatballs and soup, delicious! Then we got the Beef Wellington which was an amazing portion and fantastic taste. We also got the Scallop and Mushrooms which was very good, and a side of Brocolini, also good. There was a birthday at the table, so they brought out cake, but I got the Espresso Martini Flight, Amazing! The other bar selections were also really good. They were packed, but the service was great. Definitely a great spot, but be sure to make a reservation.

Service was great. Cocktails were great - especially the Moon Old Fashioned (not exact name). I specifically went there for the Beef Wellington and it was perfect. Not too many places have this on their menu so I had to try. My wife had the scallops with risotto - also very good. I'll be visiting again and again for the Beef Wellington

But now, their meals have advanced to another plain. The grilled salmon was phenomenal. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and with amazing rice and blistered tomatoes, it was an absolute treat. My girlfriend got a couple of small plates and she loved her meal as well. In the morning, we returned for brunch, which usually wasn't as good in the past. My girlfriend wanted scrambled eggs and bacon and fries. Since I was starving, I indulged in the beef poutine with onion gravy over fries and with an egg -- as well as the blistered tomatoes. Absolutely phenomenal (along with a great cappuccino). The flavors were truly incredible. Kimberly, the server who may be the best in town, took care of us, which only added to our experience. She is a stellar ambassador to ZEST. Reservations were fast and easy. Upon arrival (both times) we were seated immediately. The only strange thing had nothing to do with ZEST: Even within the restaurant, if you search for "brunch near me" or "breakfast near me," ZEST does not come up at all. That's a shame because many souls may be missing out on a fantastic experience.

They acknowledged that we were celebrating both our wedding anniversary and my husband's birthday, which made the night even more memorable. Anthony, our waiter, was outstanding. His service was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm without ever feeling rushed. He checked in at just the right times, made great recommendations, and helped make the entire experience feel effortless and special. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were some of the best we've had. The appetizers--the crab cake and the crab cocktail--were both outstanding and absolutely delicious. They also seated us at a great table with a beautiful view, which made the celebration even more enjoyable. To top off the evening, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for our celebration. The carrot cake was amazing and honestly large enough to feed four people! It was truly a memorable night with exceptional food, service, and hospitality. We're already looking forward to coming back to Top Cut.

We ordered the Caesar salad (phenomenal) The steak tartare, just divine perfection The waitress heard me talking about the sweat breads from the chicken dish (that I wasn't ordering, I'll explain shortly) and said the chef could do them as a side dish, DELICIOUS!!! My husband got the world's largest most delicious pork chop. Now, my meal. I ordered the halibut and recognized that perhaps it wasn't for me, but I ordered it it was my choice I wasn't going to send it back. Our waitress took note that I wasn't eating and told me that simply would not do and hustled to the kitchen to come out with the chicken dish, I was so appreciative of her noticing and accommodating this, truly, amazing service and that chicken was succulent beyond words! We also got 3 of the desserts, the seasonal eggnog bread pudding, the cinnamon raisin bread pudding which was insanely delicious as I personally am not a huge bread pudding fan but if every bread pudding was this? That would be my go to! And of course the butterscotch pudding which better never leave the menu because it is lick your plate delicious!!! I also enjoyed a hot cocktail which on a cold night was heavenly. A once cozy and romantic atmosphere, is now a crowded, loud dining room. I had made a reservation on Resy (as per Bolete's website) and requested an upstairs table. In the notes, I mentioned our anniversary, and that we were looking forward to a cozy table to celebrate. Unfortunately, we were seated in the middle of two other parties, whom were both facing us. The lighting was contemporary, and kept brightening then dimming, repeatedly throughout the evening. There was little to no decor, I'm assuming that was removed to fit the volume of tables. The food was as delicious, as I had remembered. However, my husband ordered the ribeye, and was told they were out of steak, but that the pork chop was a delicious second choice. Sorry...a pork chop is not comparable to a steak. An appetizer we chose was also no longer available. Perhaps if Bolete had stuck with quality over quantity, they would not have run out of our first choice options? For our few, and far between date nights these days, the overall experience was a disappointment.

We ordered the Caribbean conch fritters that were so small. You could barely see them. The gnocchi however, was very good. The two of us that ordered the filet mignon's were very disappointed. The server told us that we should order them medium rare because the medium would be not cooked to our satisfaction. The medium rare came out overdone. When my friend asked for another steak, they brought her a new one that was completely raw in the center. It's clear to me. They don't know how to cook according to temperature. The pan sear deck duck breast was not cooked to perfection either. In between each course, we had to keep asking for silverware because they served us food with no silverware. You should never have to ask in a restaurant of this magnitude to be given silverware with your meal. When we got there, I had brought in a cake for dessert and the guy at the hostess stand said let me take that for you and bring it to the table. I said no it's a surprise. When it came time for dessert, the waitress came over and brought menus for dessert and I clearly said to her we have a cake in the back and she said oh I didn't realize it was for you. Our server was.Danieliz A. I would think when your bill is $500 you would get a little better service than what we were given. I personally owned a fine dining restaurant and to say this experience was subpar is an understatement. The other part that really upset me was when my friend had to send her steak back we were all completely finished eating by the time her meal came out to me. This was a disaster.
