This place has really gone down hill. I went and got a beef sandwich and stuffed rigatoni. The beef sandwich has absolutely NO flavor whatsoever- yeah it was huge but when u out bland ass meat on a bland piece of bread it isn't going to be great. This is a usual go to for my family and I. Over the last couple of years the potions have gotten smaller and slightly less flavorful, I frequent the Ellsworth location in Queen Creek. They have forgotten requested items and items included in the meal itself which is a bit odd, these errors have become more apparent over the last year. Not sure what is going on internally or if it's just more secluded my location persay bc when I lived in Tempe 9yrs ago I couldn't even finish my big beef sandwich with overflowing waffle fries. The food is still flavorful overall, with a good selection, and I still frequent this restaurant but do wish it stepped up to what I was used to for almost an entire decade. read more

We tried out the new place and were highly disappointed in the service. We waited over 50 minutes at 5PM on a Sunday which is to be expected so that was not an issue. The new exterior bar/sitting area is much better than the other locations and the fake grass out front was great for the kids to hang while we waited. The issue we had was the experience after we were seated. We had to ask twice for plates and napkins from our waiter and he forgot our drinks more than once. We ordered two 18" pizzas. Not deep dish, nothing fancy. We waited and waited. There was a family that was seated 20 minutes after we were and received their pizzas before us. The waiter came out and tried telling us the kitchen was backed up. He clearly did not know we noticed the table behind us. We finally asked for the manager and that was also a very awkward situation. She came to out table and told us that we had asked to see her over 10 minutes ago, but she was pulled to another issue. Not something you tell a frustrated customer. Second she asked us what WE wanted her to do about receiving poor service. Again not something you ask a frustrated customer. WE - not the manager - figured out what we felt was fair after sitting and staring at each other for another awkward moments while she and the waiter stand staring at us. Going to dinner here should not be a 2.5 hour affair. Not worth the hassle and wait for a thin low topping pizza. read more

What great service I received from Eduardo yesterday!! My boyfriend and I came in for lunch since we were visiting family in QC. Apparently, this place is new. Yet, Eduardo took the best care of us! He suggested the Diablo shrimp since I told him I loved spicy food, and it was absolutely delicious! Not only did he recommend a dish for my palate, he was very charming and funny. He obviously is knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience here at Oregano's extremely enjoyable. It is apparent that the poor reviews are a result of not having him take care of you. Thank you Eduardo for the great service! We will be back just to see you! And of course for that Diablo!! Side note: save room for that pizookie! If you don't know what that is, just go and find out. Was here for pizza last Saturday. And very disappointed. wasn't that crowded but took half hour to be seated, the waitress was not very good, didn't come back to check if we needed anything and didn't keep up on our drinks. We ordered the Numero One and it was terrible! hardly any red sauce on it so the pizza was dry. still ate some cause we were hungry. Then ordered the Chocolate Chip Cookie, which used to be really good, but this one was horrible. The cookie was undercooked and mushy and gritty. The ice cream only tasted good. I'll never ever go back to this restaurant here in Queen Creek!!! Food prep is terrible!!! wasted money. read more

Date Night Special was recommended by my daughter and my wife and We were looking forward to a pasta date night. Disaster 101!! I phoned my order in at 2pm, provided my credit card info and asked for 6:00pm pick up with MGR , Cory. He said get there a bit early and pay now to expedite the process. I got there at 5:55pm - No one could find my order and they didn't know who I was. They took my phone nbr and said I'd be texted. I waited till 6:15pm outside- No page. I went to Cory their MGR, showed him my credit card info at my bank showing I'd been charged. He said they couldn't find my order so I canceled it .I asked for a receipt so Cory disappeared for another 8 minutes.He finally came back and said they'd misplaced the order due to being placed early. I would not recommend this Oregano's to use unless doing Online ordering only. Unfortunately their website states this Special was a call in only order. A Waste of Time! We gave them a chance to respond and it was immediate. Very pleased to say I was impressed with Oregano's concern and feel we have worked out our concern over this incident. We will try them again. We came in for lunch today and Alexa took care of us. The restaurant was extremely clean and they are taking extensive measures to provide safety through sanitation and masks and we really appreciate that. We started with Calamari that was absolutely amazing. My kiddo had spaghetti which she absolutely loved and I had the Chicken Diablo, my wife had Moms sausage and peppers. The portions were amazing, we definitely have leftovers. The food was perfect. we have gone to Oregano's on multiple occasions however this was the first time at the Queen Creek location. Alexa was extremely friendly knowledgeable of the recommendations and took extra steps to make the visit for ourselves and more importantly our kiddo a memorable one. From the extra cherries in the Shirley Temple to the orange wedges, it truly just shows how sweet this experience was. Thank you Alexa and Oregano's team!!!!!! We will be back. read more

We have been living in Queen Creek over a year now and kept saying "we need to try Oregano's" every time we'd drive by. Well we finally tried it this week and we will definitely be back! When we walked in we told them it was our first time in. The manager (owner?) walked over to our table and said "pick an appetizer, I'm going to buy you one". So nice! We got the fried zucchini and it didn't disappoint!!! Our waitress, Michole was excellent! Recommended several things and was quick and attentive. We ordered the lasagna and the beeftastic salad (topped with crispy fried onions!). Lots of food, took home leftovers and a great atmosphere. read more

Just moved to arizona and our family took us to Oregano's for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We had no wait, however it's my understanding that they get super busy. Food was really good. We ordered garlic cheese bread as an appetizer and it was SO GOOD. I ordered the stuffed rigatoni and it was really good, just not my thing. I probably wouldn't ordered it again but the flavors were really yummy. Our server was Melissa (I think? Or Marissa?) but she was fantastic! One of the worst experiences and food quality I've had. We have eaten here many times but decided to carry out. Ordered $75 worth of food. Showed up and was told by one of the many people doing take out that my order needed just a few more minutes and it would be ready. So I waited, and waited and waited. So many people were coming and getting their orders. Finally after 10+ mins of standing there after everyone else had gone, I went back up to ask where my order was. Lo and behold, my order had been sitting behind the counter and no one bothered to tell me. It seemed warm still so I took the order and left. Upon getting home, that is when the problem of sitting for so long came into play. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The bread on the sandwich was absolute mush and soggy, the fries cold, limp and didn't look cooked at all. The coleslaw warm. The wings we ordered well done were soggy and mushy. The Zucchini fries were mushy and lukewarm. Super disappointing and couldn't eat half the dinner. read more

Me & my fiancé love this place the inside's a vibe! kinda has like a vintagey look to it, very cool for date night! The workers are friendly & it's a clean environment. The best pastas on the menu are the "Ragin Cajun chicken pasta" , "Alfredo the dark" , "Lady is a Scampi" , & "El Diablo pasta" the others are kinda bland & have no flavor. THOUGH! I do feel like lately they've been greedy with the sauce & cotija cheese on the Alfredo the dark & also have gotten alil crazy with the spice on the el Diablo pasta other than that tho very yummy as well as their drinks.
