He set up an appointment and gave me a brief rundown of what to expect. I received a reminder call the day before the appointment as well as another when the serviceman was on his way. I received impeccable service. The gentlemen that showed up were very cordial and left the fireplace and its surroundings spotless. You'd never know they were there except for the fact that my family room fireplace now works like new and the logs that were originally improperly placed are now placed correctly. The price of the valve was very fair and the service visit overall was very reasonably priced. This speaks volumes to the honesty and integrity of this local business. The company that installed it came by three times and couldn't fix the problem, or thought they did then the same issue would come up. (only half the fireplace would stay lit). Steve had a hunch and he brought over a "snorkel" prototype for the vent on the outside of the house from the fireplace. Long story short..he figured out that I needed a better venting system and he ordered it and installed it. I have been REALLY enjoying my fireplace these cold days.
