I love Tommy's and have since I was a kid. This is by far the worst one I have ever been to. The girl who works behind the counter was incredibly rude! Also she was trying to charge me extra for no reason then got an attitude when I questioned her. I don't speak fluent Spanish by any means... One of my favorite places to visit when I'm down in LA. The chili is unique and addicting. Food always fresh. It's a bit pricy but you get filled up. Very iconic chain in the area. Although, I've ate at a few other locations throughout LA, the only reason I gave a 4 star rating is based on the location of the Norwalk restaurant in a not so good area. A homeless man was eating his meal inside and was yelling random words at others while they ate. Drive-thru is also available. If you're in southern Cali, make sure you check out an Original Tommy's location! A menu is available on their website. They didn't accept Discover Card at their Eagle Rock location near Glendale so I'm not sure if that goes for all their locations. read more

Just moved to the artesia area from Hollywood I'm so happy I found a tommys out here second time coming the first time through drive through and now i actually stepped out so glad I did I was literally just done paying and my food was handed to me the tomatoes and peppers are all so fresh the fries and buns so crisp.. it's the first time I actually ate the peppers and tomatoes as opposed to taking the tomatoes out and just squeezing the juice out of the peppers .. Oh Tommy's Burger...you'll be the end of me that you will. I make an effort to not go here to often. I even think once a month is to much. I like to go 2 or 3 months of a Tommy's fast or it will kill me. But would I say it's worth the clogged arteries...I wouldn't be giving this place a 5 if it wasn't. I understand this place may not be for everyone. With the insane amounts of greasy chili on everything but it's so bad it's good and not Snakes on a Plane good. This places really got something. I recommend going all the way here and getting the double chili cheese burger with chili cheese fries and lemonade for good measure. What more is there to say here. We come and eat here at least a few times a month. I get tamale with extra chili and cheese. Yum. Smidgen of ketchup and I am happy. Hubby gets chili burger with extra chili and regular fries well done. Sometimes he gets a chili dog. People who work here are hard workers and when they remember you as a regular with an extra bit of smile it makes me happy. Beware. This location will overcharge you any chance they can get. I was there yesterday and although it was just a dollar over, it's still the principle of the fact. Then the woman hands me my debit card and no receipt and started walking away so I shouted that I wanted my receipt and she rolled her eyes and gave a huge sigh. I am giving two stars because of the poor customer service. I'm a fan of Tommys but this place fell below standard. When placing our order we had to ask for a burger without onions 3x. I went earlier to Tommy's as well and I got the exact same meal for that 4.99 special. 2 chilli dogs with 2 fries amazing deal. But when the cashier took my order I told her I wanted to upgrade my fries to chilli cheese fries and that I wanted to add cheese to my hotdogs both her and the manager explained that by adding chilli and cheese to the fries or an item would raise the price by a certain amount which makes total sense she explained to me by adding cheese is 55 cents more and to add chilli and cheese to my fries it would be 2.30 plus tax and the special is 5.46 including the tax which is an AMAZING deal people, should really take advantage of it before it's done. I honestly found no problem in paying more for what I ate. My visit at Tommy's was great, cashier and staff were very welcoming and great even when it looked very busy they managed to satisfy my service as a customer not only that the food was to DIE FOR!Therefore I feel like if people are confused or something about pricing they should have probably asked more questions and get the answers there seeking for.With that 4.99 deal they are really hooking it up at Tommy's read more
