We entered Orly around 2 pm and wanted to get some treats to try. I saw the signs for the Food Network and thought this must be a good place. We got a few macarons, a couple cakes, cookies, and pastries. My kids are big fans of macarons (especially from La tour on Oahu) but they weren't so enamored by these as they tasted a bit stale. The lilikoi ube pie was good not at all ube like I thought it might be. The key line pie I got was good and tart which I love. The corporate cookies I think they were called were ok, not anything amazing. I also tried their cinnamon roll which I wish was more fluffy and gooey. The apple cruffin was dry with not enough apple. Overall, this was an ok place. Maybe other items would be better or we came too late in the day. But the parking was convenient and there are some shops around there if you want to eat and then get dessert. read more

There's so many good choices here, it was so hard to pick. We ended up with several macarons, a key lime pie slice, and a lillikoi ube cheesecake. The Lillikoi Ube Cheesecake was full of flavor! That was my favorite. The keylime pie was good. Could be more tart. The macarons were big in size, but tasted more like sugar than the actual flavor. The service was good. The lady there was friendly, patient, and helpful. There's outdoor seating, but no indoor seating. Parking is shared with lots of other stores, which was big and had plenty of parking spaces. Day trip to Kauai, I wanted to try something we don't have on Oahu, and found this little gem. I saw the Ham and Cheese croissant and since a certain bakery closed a while back due to the rail that still hasn't been built (emphasis on still), I haven't really found a croissant that flaked just right. Well, now I know....I just need to hop a plane to Kauai and go to Orly's to get one. I asked the clerk to heat it up for me, and it was perfect. Crispy, buttery, melty, just pure perfection and it was a perfect way to start my day. Added a dirty chai and a fruity pebbles macaroon and I was a happy camper! I'm obviously terrible at taking pix before scarfing my food: ate my croissant and oooops! A good excuse to go back next time in Kauai. The shop is small, with a nice glass counter display, and the other wall has assorted goodies and items for sale. Outside there are a couple of tables and chairs, but no table service: your order is nicely boxed to go, but sitting outside in the shade was nice. The shop is near the Kukui Grove Center, before or after the mall depending where you're coming from. There were less pastries on display than expected, and items were low at late morning when we went in. From the other reviews I had imagined a place with more choices than actually on offer that day, but: the ham and cheese croissant was delicious, warm with a crispy-flaky crust and a nice size! I really wish I'd taken a photo. If I visited Kauai by staying in a rental for sure I would've asked about the cakes and special orders. Especially the award-winning chocolate creation!! read more

Everywhere we went it seemed like we saw a sign mentioning Orly, so you can imagine our excitement and surprise to bump into next to our lunch spot at Verde. What was there looked delicious, although there was a layer of condensation over the glass, making it tricky to see what was inside. My husband and I came by while on our honeymoon and WOW was it worth it. We bought a couple things to try throughout our week stay and all of our items were amazing. We had a blondie, 2 macarons- one guava and one mango sunset, I think was what they called it and one of the Ube cheesecakes and liliko mousse cake. The liliko mousse has this super rich dark chocolate at the bottom that helped balance the tangy liliko topping. This review is mainly for the one item we wanted to try from Orly Patisserie... the ube lilikoi cheesecake ($10). It was delicious... It's a good sized cheesecake. Bigger than a personal size. I would say it's perfect for 2-3 people to share. You can really taste the lilikoi but it wasnt overpowering. A hint of ube is what I got, I could actually use more of it. But it's a great combination of flavors that are married into a great tasting cheesecake. The cheesecake itself is expertly decorated with hardened chocolate, whipped cream and a candy square. I definitely recommend getting this cheesecake. Other items we saw being sold were blueberry cheesecake ($10), flourless chocolate cake ($5.50), Lilikoi souffle cheesecake ($8), lavash bread ($5) and blueberry pound cake ($6) among other pastries and baked goods. It's small space but they sell a lot of goods and drinks. There is also a self-serve refrigerated section that has items such as lilikoi butter and tiramisu. Located in the same plaza as Verde, Kenji Burger and Domino's... Plenty of parking out front. read more
