Best sushi in the Denver area! Great service from the owner and the servers, and real authentic taste to the food. Good ambiance, particularly sitting in the little area off to the side. Definitely coming back

Visiting family in town and they brought us to their favorite sushi restaurant! I can see why. Food was delicious and service was quick and friendly! I got a small hot sake which was absolutely delightful, especially on a chilly evening. My meal was the Vegetarian roll combo with one cucumber, one avocado and one veggie combo. My husband got the grilled tofu and our son got the Ungai bowl (cooked eel). Everything was delicious and each of ours came with a side salad and miso soup! They even brought me gluten free soy sauce!!

Pretty cozy old mom & pop restaurant vibe of a restaurant with pretty good lunch options. We got lunch bento E and Sashimi lunch. We liked it.

Beautiful, delicious sushi! Osaka Sushi is a huge winner in the sushi department for having an amazing selection of rolls, reasonable prices, beautiful presentation, and awesome desserts! Had the opportunity to finally check out Osaka Sushi after a friend of mine raved so much about it. I may be weird, but I actually love fruit in or on top of my sushi so whenever I'm at a new sushi place I scan the menu for a) rolls with any fruit like mango, strawberry, or kiwi, b) spicy rolls with spicy salmon or tuna, and then c) tempura rolls. Osaka Sushi has a great selection and some very unique rolls as well. I ordered the tropicana roll and ichiban roll which satisfied my fruity and spicy sushi cravings, respectively. The tropicana roll is one of their newer rolls and includes shrimp tempura, crab meat, cucumber, kiwi, kiwi sauce, tempura flakes, and red tobiko. The ichiban roll is shrimp tempura & crab meat topped with spicy tuna, spicy mayo, and sweet eel sauce. My friends ordered the avalanche roll, oh baby roll, and two others that I don't remember the name of. The avalanche has baked salmon, crab, shrimp tempura. Oh my goodness, I absolutely loved the ichiban, tropicana, and avalanches rolls! The two other rolls I tried were also great. Despite being fairly full, of course we had to try dessert. I ordered the berry paradise cheesecake, while our friends had the tempura ice cream and creme brulee. All of the desserts were beautifully presented, with beautiful plate art. Not only beautiful, but they were also delicious. I love the care in the presentation that Osaka delivers for both their sushi and desserts! Friendly staff, plenty of seating. Five stars! Definitely one of my favorite sushi restaurants - wish it was closer!

We had a Great meal. We had the dynamite appetizer, and it is probably the best we have had for a long time! Then we ordered a few different rolls including, A tempura roll, Bronco, Mega lotto, and one that had fruit on top(kiwi). Everything was Delicious! For deserts, we had the Tempura ice cream and crème brûlée!! What a great gem to find this place! Yummy!!!

She made the first time experience for my friends effortless and less confusing. They were out of cucumbers and avocados though so that kind of sucked. Not a big deal though. The meal was great and we had a lovely time. Oh and they had 2$ Sapporo! Your first 3 were 2$ I think. So good from the tap! Considering the only other US location is in California, I was surprised and knew this would be my opportunity to try it! The aesthetic is modern & elevated with Japanese wooden features. I got 3 classic dishes which was just the right amount of food. I honestly recommend coming with a group to try more items since you know everything will be delicious. The Yellowtail Jalapeño is a signature dish; the yellowtail was delicate & buttery and the citrus soy with the bight of jalapeño made each bite clean, bright, with some subtle heat. I did not expect the Rock Shrimp Tempura to be that good! The shrimp was lightly battered & fried but the sauces were the highlights! Their creamy spicy is a very well-done spicy mayo but the butter ponzu was unreal! Super addictive, rich, and unlike any sauce I've had before. Shout out to my waitress for suggesting getting both sauces on the side rather than lathered on the shrimp, which also kept it crispy. Last but certainly not least is the famous Black Cod! The fish is super buttery and flaky; there were some caramelized edges from the miso glaze which added so much depth & richness to the bite. It's a good balance of sweetness, savoriness, umami that is bound to be good. All in all, so grateful I got to try what many call an institution and will certainly try more of chef Nobu's restaurants.

Some of courses were delicious and some were mediocre. We spent almost $700 for a party of four. The situation that needs the most improvement was the pace of the meal. The courses were separated by a 20-30-minute wait time. Considering that the courses were very small and contained 5-6 pieces for a party of four... that equates to a little more than a small bite every 20-30 minutes. The dinner took 2.5 hours to develop, and we were honestly still hungry by the end. The waiter started asking us if were "still hungry" at about the fifth courses. By the end, we felt awkward in asking for more. The wagyu beef was particularly disappointing as the beef was somewhat chewy, lacking taste and small. Waiters seemed to be near their capacity of workload. Didn't really take the time to serve, walk you thru the menus, keep the service moving or even gauge your level of satisfaction. We ordered dessert to celebrate the birthday. Apart from a small chocolate plaque on the dessert that said, "happy birthday", there was no attempt to celebrate the occasion as other less exclusive restaurants do... no "happy birthday" wish, no courtesy dessert... nothing special. The best part of this meal was by far, the young couple that accompanied us. Friendly advice: if you want to impress a client with something the feels exclusive... this may be the place. If you are looking for amazing food, being pampered and feeling your money was "well spent", try another place. I don't plan to visit this restaurant soon.

Parking can be annoying (if you come to Cherry Creek you know it sucks) but once you're inside, it's great We got sat at this cute table that was set up, kind of like a cattycorner booth, perfect for two. Our server Marvis was great, he greeted us so quickly and talked through his recommendations for cocktails. I ended up trying the Yuzu margarita, which he said was the best drink on the menu, and I absolutely loved it. My friend had a lemon drop and also thought it was perfect. We started with the magic mushrooms appetizer - I almost looked past this but It wasn't mushrooms at all. (Thank god). It was really unique and yummy. I thought maybe they could elevate it a little more by adding some additional seasoning to the shrimp or even leaving it raw to accentuate the cold avocado in the center., but it was still really good. The nigiris were the standouts of the evening. - we tried the seared Ahi tuna, the grilled scallop, and the Unagi. Words cannot describe. If I could make a meal out of Nigiri alone, I would but with just two pieces per serving. It definitely adds up quick. We also got the big kahuna roll and the Pittsburgh roll. The big kahuna was delicious, with a spicy kick at the end thanks to the jalapeño. had a lot of depth of flavors and good texture. We finished off with the Ube crème brûlée, which was really rich and very Ube forward, definitely a unique and yummy dish. Prices are pretty standard for the area, for all this we each ended up paying about $80. Can't wait to come back and try more, and hopefully sit in Marvis' section again!

At dim lights, with an upscale vibe, Japanese lanterns and umbrellas for decor, we got a good feeling about this place. Our server was prompt, ready, and friendly. To start, I ordered an Avery Yuzilla beer that was light, smooth, refreshing, and fruity; just what I needed. For our food, we started with the spicy garlic edamame and gyoza. Both appetizers were not loud; they were subtle but satisfying with the very mild spicy garlic and the filling of the gyoza. For our entrees we ordered the Diablo Verde, the Spicy Bincho, and the Wagyu Beef rolls. The Diablo Verde had a nice fusion of flavors with its salsa verde and refreshing and perfectly pickled pico de gallo on top. The Bincho was, in contrast, heavier in texture and flavors, with a noticeable spicy kick. Last, the Wagyu beef was the most dense with its generous portion of Wagyu and a bit of respite with lettuce and scallions. Just like the appetizers, the rolls were not loud, but they were good!
