We saw the advertising for the $5.69 fish and chips and had to stop in today. What a deal, perfectly cooked great portions, neither of us could eat it all. The fish market section has great, fresh seafood that is priced right around the market average. The frozen stuffed scallops at @1.50$ each might be the best deal in the whole place. The takeout section is pretty good standard fried food, nothing exceptional to make it stand out, just regular good 'ole fried seafood. Tartar sauce is meh, the cocktail sauce has got a tiny kick I like but I presume it comes pre-made. On any fresh seafood or most big takeout orders you can ask for a lemon. They give you a whole lemon to compliment your meal or your seafood purchase. I find this to be a very nice touch. read more

Got take out from here last night. Two fried scallop plates and a 'family fish fry'. The quality of the seafood was excellent, but there were some flaws in the experience. 1. when I called they told me my food would be ready in 10-15 minutes. it took more like 40 minutes (I picked up). 2. they forgot to give me the fries with the 'family fish fry' order. didn't notice until I got home. since we were running late didn't have time to go back and complain. 3. the tartar sauce was terrible. basically a vat of mayo, with a sprinkling of relish in it. worst I have ever had. fortunately we were able to doctor it at home to bring it up to snuff. had they solved these problems, they would get at least 4 stars. This place is worth considering if you are looking for takeout in the Osterville area. read more

One of the best places in town. Fresh and clean. The clams were the best I've had and the lobster salad was absolutely wonderful with more than a generous amount of lobster; the tangy dressing was really tasty and the lettuce leaves so fresh and crisp. I was really happy to see the fish and chips which had just the right amount of batter and they keep their oil fresh and light. Food is good but service is terrible. Plan on waiting far past your pickup time with not so friendly staff. Do not fall for the "I will bring it out to your car when it is ready". Staff was awesomely friendly. Negatives: Small portions on the seafood - my basket was closer to ¾ fries to a ¼ seafood. Fries were bland. Coleslaw lacked mayo. Overall: Seafood was tasty. When paying they turn around this huge screen for all to see for you to decide in front of all the other people in line how much to tip them. We have ordered platters from the market from time to time and have bought fish fillets as well. A couple weeks ago family was visiting and they wanted lobsters so we ordered them here as well as steamers(cooked).The steamers were loaded with sand. I called and spoke to the manager Sam, I told him how sandy they were and he asked if we used the broth which we did but didn't help. He refunded the money for the steamers. Tonight we bought littlenecks for spaghetti with clams. When I opened the bag the clams looked like they never touched water after they were dug up. We soaked them in salt water for a half hour and rinsed. I made the spaghetti w clams and everything was great except the huge bites of sand. If the market is not going to purge the clams prior to being purchased they should give instructions when purchased that these need to be soaked for at least 24 hours with a few changes of salt water. There are plenty of seafood markets on cape that we can go to and we chose this market because it is close and we want to be supportive of the local business. Unfortunately we need to take our business elsewhere. read more

We found this place on a brochure that was located in our Airbnb place the first night we arrived in Cape Cod. The prices seemed reasonable, so we went and ordered a seafood platter for two. When we got back to our place and opened up our order, we were shocked at how little seafood was actually on our plate, especially for the price of $39 plus tax. It was mostly filled with french fries and the clams and scallops were WAY overcooked. The only nice thing I can really say is that the young girl behind the counter was extremely pleasant and helpful with providing us extra condiments as I told her we had just arrived from out of town and didn't have any condiments at the Airbnb. I hate to leave such a bad review but the seafood was awful and the portion was enough for one person, not two. Perhaps the locals eat there because it is convenient, but I would advise driving 10 minutes down the street to Hyannis for better options. I've been here twice in the last couple of weeks and must say the inconsistency based on menu item is amazing. Had a fish and chips on the first visit and like others have said the fish was fine but for the price would have expected more fish less fries. Had I not also ordered clam chowder, which was very good, I would have been cooking ramen noodles. The second trip my wife ordered broiled haddock and I got the broiled platter. While her fish and rice were tasty and sufficient in quantity the broiled platter came in a small aluminum pie plate (maybe 4 -5 inches) and for the $18 price was totally inadequate. It contained something like 3 small shrimps, 2 scallops, 2 small white fish pieces and bread crumbs. The scallops were over done and rubbery. The other fish was fine. The fries were soggy. The boys at the O-Fish rock! We have had them cater a lobster bake every summer for years! They do an awesome job. The food is fresh-served hot and with a smile. This years bake was in September on a rainy night-they set up, cooked and got everything done within the rain constraints and club rules & cleaned up everthing!!
