The food here is really good! The calamari was super good, not over-breaded or over-cooked so it wasn't gummy. When you read the reviews pay close attention to the spicy. I went with a girlfriend and both of us ordered a 3. I got the Pad Thai and it was scrumptious, and a good level of spice. She got the sweet and spicy chicken and there was not enough water on the table to put out that fire. We agreed to go back but anything with spicy in the labor would have a 2. The service was fast, the food came out hot, and the portions are large. You get what you pay for there. read more

One of our favorite places for Thai food!! We usually order over the phone and take out but the times we have eaten in the dining room the service was always top notch. The chicken massaman curry and beef drunken noodles are some of the best we have had. The pad thai isn't the the kind we like as much but still tasty. I've been eating here for years and have always loved the food but sometimes the bad service is just not worth it. One time I was given the wrong order and had to wait an hour for my correct order to be ready. Today I had to wait for over an hour in the restaurant meanwhile my order had been sitting ready without anyone calling out my name for about a half hour. Vegan review: Our Thai House is not just the best vegan-friendly Thai restaurant I've found in Spokane, it's just clearly the best Thai restaurant in Spokane period. The menu is extensive and had a wide array of dishes that can be made vegan. The menu also specifies which dishes are made without fish sauce, which is particularly helpful. Related, I had the vegan pad Thai and Thai tea without milk, and my server was knowledgeable and accommodating of my dietary needs. The food was made fresh, included plenty of vegetables, was super flavorful, and was a generous portion! Of course, for those who eat meat, there are many dishes that can be served with your choice of proteins! I will be back many, many times! After spending a month traveling all around Thailand, I have been on the hunt for great Thai food in Spokane. All are pretty good, but none lead me to declare them "excellent". Phonthip came pretty darn close. Food and service there is excellent, and ambiance is okay, but not excellent. The food at Phonthip might even be better than here, but this place has a warmer, welcome and more elegant feel to it. Doesn't look like much when you walk by - true to looks. The yellow curry was ok - the beef was dry and overcooked. The pad thai tasted as if they had cooked it in a burnt wok or if they had burned the sauce while cooking - it was BAD! The spring rolls were small and did not look like they were prepared in-house. First off, the only reason I haven't given Five-Stars is because I've got to come back again to try other menu items. However, the bottom line is that the food is fantastic. You should come here for good Thai food. On the fantastic food: the food came out relatively quickly and hit my table piping hot and fresh. The sauce in the Lad Nah is rich and very well seasoned. I ordered it very-spicy and I was not disappointed at all. So much better spicing than Bangkok Thai. I also got the fried shrimp rolls. They're essentially shrimp rolled up in egg-roll wrappers and fried until crispy. I wish I had more or that there was a bit more substance to them, but they were good. I have quite a bit of experience when it comes to Thai food and how it should be prepared. Our Thai House's food is just above average, not great, but not terrible. I do have to ding them on a few things that if they paid more attention to, they could easily correct. The spiciness level was off on a few of the dishes that came to our table. One person ordered mild and the dish came back medium or just below hot. Either the wait person or the cook did not pay enough attention to the order. In turn, I ordered my dish hot and it came to the table very mild. Not enough to send it back to the kitchen, as I can always add more chili spice to it.. but you can not remove spiciness from a dish if the person ordered it mild. My pad see ew was oily, plain and simple, oily. The noodles were somewhat glutenous and not separate like they should be. My friends dish was also oily. I think with a few small tweaks this place could really rock. The staff is very friendly and was attentive most times. There were about a dozen people in our group..so I understand how dishes could be confused. At one point our group were the only diners in the restaurant. Food came out of the kitchen in a timely manner, actually pretty fast. My appetizer was a big failure. Ordered the fish cakes..... i was expecting something different than what arrived. What arrived was more like silver dollar sized overcooked sausage patties. Huh? slight fish taste, but they looked odd.. not what one would think would be a fish cake. Bottled dipping sauce was the same sauce I have in my home pantry. A fresh made dipping sauce would have been better I wish I could rate Our Thai House 2.5 stars and not 3 stars.. because I think that's about what I honestly feel they deserve. I'll try going back at some point in the future. Entree prices are reasonable.. appetizer prices are to high for what you get, ($7 - $11). My wife and I have come to one of our favorite Thai restaurants once again. Honestly, I would rate this visit a 7 out of five today if I could have! Food=excellent, service=amazing and even the ambience was on point. Chicken Larb(lap salad) was insanely tasty with no extra heat added. Drunken Noodles with beef at a heat level of 1 was the best I have had yet. Our third item was the Pad Pak with chicken that was also a 1 for heat and was equally delicious. Food like this is what keeps us coming back and todays service was literally perfect. Come eat here!!! Recent discovery has myself only able to have gluten free foods due to Celiac disease but luckily they were able to accommodate with using gluten free Soy sauce. Aside from that, the food was just what you'd expect from a Thai place. It wasn't out of this world, but it was good, reasonably priced, and came in big portions. Hit up this place during Hoopfest weekend with some friends, I liked it for the most part, BUT their spice level is out of bounds! A three star is easily a 1 star in most other Thai restaurants.
