My girlfriend and I went to this Outback Steakhouse a few nights ago, namely because we weren't up to the unadulterated shit-show that occurs at the T.G.I.Friday's up the street. I've seen dine-and-dashes along with turf wars break out in there. They also keep the place meat-locker cold so the inmates...er...customers... don't get too riled. Totally aside, but I heard some dude got shot there for disrespecting somebody's weave. Yeah, we were looking for a quieter dining experience. And I had a friend encouraged me to use his gift card. At any rate, the clientele at this Outback was no better, but for totally different reasons. This place was fairly crowded with bloated people who were essentially exploding out of their pants, much in the same manner as Bloomin' Onions can't be contained to their plates (delicious!). Here, you'll be sure to hear a gravy-boatload of requests for more blue cheese and ranch dressing. Don't plan on getting to eat quickly, because people treat space here as if they purchased real-estate. I recommend you don't make eye-contact with anyone eating in a booth, because they'll likely throw a food tantrum and run you down like a silver-back gorilla. People come here for the sake of blind, dull consumption. The finest example of this occurred when I saw a woman kick back at the bar with a James Patterson novel. As far as food and service, we ate fairly well and the bartenders were pretty efficient. Couldn't complain about the price either. read more

One of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. We were seated for 15 minutes before a server came by, and when she finally did, she didn't bother to write our drink orders down. When she eventually came back, she (unsurprisingly) got our drink order wrong. Our appetizer, a Bloomin onion, arrived cold, and a side salad was delivered moments before our main meals were. When our meals -- which arrived more than an hour after we placed our order -- arrived, some of the items were incorrect. We couldn't wait, though, for anything to be corrected because we had another engagement. So we ended up asking for the check (we didn't know when or if our server would ever return) and wolfing down what was on the table. No apology for the errors or bad service. We will never be back. Avoid this place if you can. It's not worth it! read more

I have been ordering from this Outback through the pandemic. I have ordered multiple meals from them and have yet to be satisfied by this restaurant. Delivery is often late, incorrect, and produce is not fresh. Calling the restaurant is no help - no explanation, only broken promises. Tonight was the last straw. After 45 minutes late delivering, I called the restaurant only to be told, it's out for delivery. 30 minutes later, I'm still waiting. If you want to steak from Outback try the Springfield location. The one star on this rating is for the regular delivery man - friendly, curtesy, and brings dog treats for our dogs every time! read more

After a warm greeting, we were taken to a nice table that accommodated our needs. The staff were very nice to that point, and the food was good, but not quite as good as other outbacks I've been to. The food service, however was subpar. A sign out front looking for servers could be a first clue on service level given. normally I like the blooming onion however this one was provided in a rather greasy pool that came to the bottom. Overall the food was good, but did not show a good level of attention or detail - my salmon came well prepared but found other issues with other food was provided. for example the Caesar salad was terribly overdressed. The rest of the meal went fairly well but when you got to the end of it you didn't even really feel like dessert. My advice if you want to come to an outback for steak, that would be a good idea. If you're coming for a family event, there are better places to find in the area. It's an average outback steakhouse. But unfortunately the food service drops this below a reasonable value -you could find better. read more

Oh Outback... I used to love coming here - this specific location often as a teenager. A Friday night, my group of 3 decided to come here on a whim. There was a bit of a wait, which didn't bother us too much since they provided free samples of fried mushrooms and bottled waters. When finally getting seated, our waitress immediately took our drink orders and was very nice. The wait service was great and very friendly. Even the manager at one point came over and gave us scratch off coupons to reveal our prizes which was nice. However, the food took an incredibly LONG LONG LONG time to arrive. When it arrived, our food wasn't steaming hot. And my Salmon was super bland, overcooked and not flavorful. Everyone else at my table was satisfied, but my dish was just A-OK. Maybe if I ordered something else, it would have been better? However, I had to give 3 stars because the wait for the food was RIDICULOUS. Even considering that it was a Friday night. read more

When I'm seated in a busy restaurant two minutes after I arrive, I cant help but feel like my stars have aligned. I now realize my mistake of aligned stars had to be a full moon. Its not such a big deal we had to request napkins twice after receiving our Bloomin Onion or silverware after receiving our main course. What really made this experience unforgettable was receiving a 12 oz medium rare steak with only the faintest, grayish pink line that was tougher than my girlfriend's teriyaki medallions. As a replacement I received a 9 oz steak (note the incorrect size), which we discovered at the manager's request to slice open, was equally dead and tough as the first. We never bothered to inquire about our sparsely "loaded" potatoes. We've instead decided to never return. Had the manager not taken full responsibility this would be one star. Steak is good at this food chain. They had great service cause they always were very attentive to us. We would come here kinda of late like 45 before closing time only because I would be done with work around that time, and they never once gave us poor service. 3 stars you say then huh???? The only thing more that irritates me is water that taste like fridge, or ice that taste like a dirty tappy fridge. I cant really put it into words but, I think you get me. If I would have not left every time with that taste in my mouth I would have given a higher review. I eat at a lot of Outbacks threw out the Country, this had to be one of the worst. Got a blooming onion that was so full of grease I couldn't eat but a few that were on top. The bottom of it was a grease pit. My $27.00 dinner came with this grease puddle in the middle of the plate they called Old Bay butter sauce that they pour over the lobster. Didn't taste like any butter I ever tasted. The sweet potato tasted like it with boiled in dirty water and then microwaved. I don't think I will be back to this outback. read more

I don't think outback needs my review In order to know they are running a shit show. It was an absolute disaster. The steak was mediocre which is expected from outback. The fries looked and tasted old and I wouldn't dare return it. The steamed broccoli seemed like no effort was taken in preparation. I was only there because I was waiting for my prescription to be filled at Walgreens across the street. This was my 1st and last time at an outback. I'm glad I waited this long for the disappointment. The drinks were cheap which helped except I ordered a cucumber lemonade and it looked like the cucumber was cut 3 weeks ago. First of all, the food was the usual decent quality, well seasoned and cooked fairly well. I ordered delivery for the first time from this Outback location. Granted, it was a horrible weather night and I'm sure a lot of people are ordering delivery. But... My delivery was nearly 40 minutes late, I was obviously the last one on his delivery list cause I was the last bags he took out, and all my food was cold. I did try calling the store after waiting 15 minutes for my delivery and no one even picked up. Needless to say, I will not be ordering delivery from this outback again. My boyfriend and I went to Outback last night. Although the last time we went to this Outback was a year ago I expected quality service and food. I was disappointed (especially considering the price of Outback is higher than most chain restaurants). Our waitress addressed our table the minimum amount of time (and we had to wait 10 minutes for her to address our table for the first time). Other servers and what appeared to be the manager stopped by our table saving our waitress would be with us shortly. What was really strange we arrived at 5 pm (on a Thursday) and the staff was running around like it was Saturday night at peak dinner hour. Although our blooming onion is what you'd expect from Outback it unfortunately was the highlight of our meal. My grilled salmon and baked potato were cooked well. However the portion the salmon filet was disturbing. It looked like a regular size filet had been sliced in half (and placed onto my plate). My boyfriend ordered a burger and although his burger was cooked properly it had the wrong toppings (and in fact was entirely different than what he ordered). In a nutshell I hope this Outback is not representative of where the chain is going overall. read more

Went here last night for some free bloomin onion during some special and because my wife loves outback occasionally. Otherwise I would avoid it like the plague. However, actually had a decent experience shockingly. The gingerbread martini was delicious. As long as you eat half the bloomin onion with two people (so a quarter of it each) you won't need to run a marathon the next day to make up for it (which is impossible to do because you will be so bloated). Wife ordered one of the healthy options, a mahi, that wasn't bad. I had several of the apps as a meal and all were tasty. Server was nice and called ahead so didnt have to wait at all. read more

My brother and I came for dinner at 6pm on a Tuesday night, and Noemi took excellent care of us, from bringing every little condiment and drink that we requested to bringing us new bread when ours got cold. After dinner the manager stopped by just to make sure that everything was enjoyable, which it was. Horrible horrible horrible. I asked for hot tea and lemon. He came much later with tea and no spoon nor lemon. I asked about the lemon after having to wait awhile for him to return. No lemon, no spoon - but he shows up with food. My lobster tail is as hard as a rock. I'm done! I asked for the manager.....waiting...ok she comes. I explain the situation. What happened to the Outback Steakhouse franchise? You now have to ask for bread, even though it is free. No prompting from the wait staff on "can I start you off with bread?" Also, the fact that they informed me that this is a corporate policy tells me plenty. No loyalty to the company and no training to the employees. Awful service. Got call ahead seating, and they sat everyone in the lobby before us, plus a couple who came in after. 10 minutes at the table before we got our order in. Bloomin Onion came fast enough, though it was greasier and overdone compared to past experiences at other locations. Then we sat for 45 minutes waiting for our entree. Our waiter didn't come by once during this period, but then eventually emerged and looked confusedly at our table. At this point, we needed to leave, so we told both our waiter and the manager to wrap up the food. They promptly delivered our food...unwrapped. Manager seemed to try hard; he got it wrapped up quickly and took some money off the bill. When we finally ate our dinner at home though, to add insult to injury, the garlic mashed potatoes didn't have a hint of garlic, and the buffalo chicken sandwich had no sauce at all. Our 2 year old son dropped his crayon. He climbed under the table to pick it up. Next thing I know he was CRYING with a MOUSE TRAP STUCK TO HIS FINGER! Our waiter took it away as my husband took our son the bathroom to wash his hands. The manager came over to apologize. He offered to pay for our sons KIDS MEAL. He offered to comp a $4.99 kids meal. This is my first time ordering takeout from Outback at this location. It was great! I placed the order online for a 6 pm pick-up we pulled in about 5 min early. We were greeted promptly by a properly masked "car host" who took our name. In short order he brought out our order nicely packaged. The order was complete & we were one our way. The hot food was hot & cold foods ( salads) were cold. Tasted great!
