    Bloomin' Fried Chicken

This is our local Outback and the one we frequent the most due to the absolute phenomenal customer service of the best waiter Tim! Tim is the absolute best and we only go when we know Tim is working. The food is still that classic Outback experience, their Prime Rib is always my favorite and my main go to beef option. Obviously the Bloomin' Onion is a must order as well. Thank you Tim for always making our Outback dining experience the absolute best it can be. BOOM!!!!

Stopped by the Canton Outback location while we were out shopping since the location closer to us in Fairlawn is now closed. They were very busy for a 2pm on a Sunday so we chose to sit at the bar and were greeted shortly by the bartender. She made us our favorite Wallaby Darned cocktails which were delicious as always. We split the blooming onion which probably needed 30 seconds less in the fryer but was still tasty and they gave us 2 cups of sauce without even having to ask! The Alice Springs chicken is one of our go to menu items, it now comes with only 1 breast instead of 2 due to the increase in costs felt everywhere. Overall a good experience, they definitely need more staff to turn tables faster and tidy up the bathroom. Plenty of parking in the shared lot with Bone fish next door.

Service was excellent. Unfortunately, the steaks were way over seasoned and crusty. They were cooked medium correctly. The replacement steak had a large piece of gristle in it. Prefer Carrabas, longhorn or Texas Roadhouse for steak.

This was an awful food experience. So to preface I haven't been to Outback in about 15 years but sadly Texas Roadhouse wasn't open yet, and I didn't have time to wait. Onto the restaurant, it was dead inside, it was 2pm, prime lunch time and barely anyone was in there. That should have been a sign, was clean and the wait staff was nice enough. Sadly as nice as they were they couldn't make up for the meal, the two stars is for the wait staff just to be clear. The food, so my partner and I ordered drinks, the Gold Peak had water added to stretch it out, it was weak. My Strawberry lemonade was sickeningly sweet to where I had to switch it to coke and I don't really drink soda. It was so strong is took the breath out of me. My salad was sad, I won't talk to much on that but it was dry, the lettuce was old. Our appetizers came out, the mushrooms were decent if not sitting in oil, they didn't put paper or anything to soak up the oil under them so they were swimming in grease. The mac and cheese puffs were fine. That's the only good food we got. His burger was tasteless, literally no flavor. And the fries were just ok. No salt, no pepper, no nothing on that hamburger. We might as well should of went to a gas station. There were supposed to be blooming onions on it but they too had the soul and flavor cooked out of them. My food was the worst part, I've been craving steak and this place needs to go straight to jail with this joke they sent out. First off, my steak was a poorly cut 6oz steak, asked for rare. Not hard right? Ok so the steak is was medium well done, the steak was in now way grilled, you can taste the oil and there was a massive tendon down the center. The cut was smaller in then two of my fingers, and was chewy and rubbery. Sent it back. While waiting I tried to potato, how do you dry out a baked potato so bad that even a knife can't cut through the skin? It was salted on the outside and the butter oddly didn't melt, it was a tough hard potato. Lastly the shrimp, I like coconut shrimp, but the shrimp is was rubbery from being over fried to death, I mean this shrimp was black. I've never had burned coconut before so it was a new experience, a nasty one, but a new one. Honestly this place is awful, and for how much it costs never again. It goes into the shame corner with Red Lobster. They can't understand why profits are falling, maybe because the food sucks.

Atmosphere: Your typical steakhouse. Well-lit. Server was funny and very nice. Tables were clean as well as the floor. Wasn't too loud but seemed pretty busy for a weekday. Food: One thing I was very happy about is that they carry my favorite wine so I ordered a 9oz glass of that. My friend had water with lemon. I then ordered a French Onion Soup as an appetizer. I think it comes frozen but I don't know what I loved about that crouton puck on theirs but hands down one of the best french onion soups I have had in a long time. For my main course, I ordered the lobster tail with the filet medium rare. I was very impressed with the filet. It was cooked absolutely PERFECTLY. The lobster tail was also cooked perfectly, not rubbery or overdone at all. Overall: I had only been to Outback one other time before this when I was a kid and I thought it was supposed be like a fast food version of steakhouse. I was wrong. They do it right here, I was pleasantly surprised.

skin still attached on the blooming onion, not edible...

The prices here have seem to gone up and the food, downhill. The past two times we went here the blooming onion was A. RAW still in the middle the first time, and this last time it was BURNT to a crisp, with the onion skin still on so you literally had to pull it out of your mouth because it wasn't chewable (see photos) i know the world is understaffed right now, but the manager stood at the end of the bar and talked to the bartender for a good 20-25 min while the waitresses were running around, one waitress dropped a whole tray with glasses all over them, shattered everywhere...the manager didn't move, just stood there and shook her head...absolutely ridiculous. Won't be going back here anytime soon.

First Pic Blooming onion I expected. Second picbut this is what I got.

I was craving the Blooming Onion! Thought I would pick up a blooming onion to feast on when I got home. Wow, when I opened that plastic container I thought maybe I mistakenly ordered the child size instead of the original. I called they said they don't make child size. That's funny because I usually feast on that for 3 times. It was burnt, had no flavor other than the sauce. I will be contemplating on ordering from there again.

I am a loving customer who enjoys all different arrangements of foods, except for Outback on Sundays. After church, I took my grandkids out, and I believe nothing is fresh on Sundays, especially at Outback. To say I was disappointed while eating my very, very burnt steak--which must've been burnt for a long time--is an understatement. I honestly like Outback but don't recommend going on a sunday.

Visiting from Southern California and had the best food at Outback steak house canton . The service was amazing Brittany B 6:35pm 11/08/22 Took care everything I needed before I asked I think the server was a mind reader . We went out for our cousins birthday here and we were disappointed. First the service was good until they were late on giving our food. That was fine until we saw that all of are 3 steaks were not cooked right, it took forever to get our waitress to come over to us to look at the problem, when they came back out 2 of the 3 were fine we had to send one of them back ,when we got it back it still wasn't good but they still ate it. Everything else was fine. We are very disappointed in this service.

We started with the fried green tomatoes, which were a bit more on the "fried" side than the tomato flavor coming through, but still very tasty and I'd order them again. I had the scallop special with rice pilaf, and they were hands down the most tender scallops I've had in years. My wife had the pork cutlets, which were excellent. Between the atmosphere, food, and friendly staff, we left full and happy--no leftovers here!

The server who greeted us was warm and welcoming and the young lady who took care of was polite. She used a piece of paper to go over the small plate specials as there were more on her list than on the menu. Glasses of water arrived with quickness and our beverages came shortly thereafter. My pint of Blue Moon came with a pour about an inch and a quarter from the top and below temperature. I find that when you see over 8 handles from one horizontal tower you lose temperature control on the first pour. We started off with some small plates: Spanakopita Eggrolls- which included your traditional flavor and a wonton wrapper and they were okay. The Special Small Plates- Honey Walnut Shrimp arrived with Brussel Sprouts which weren't advertised but we were okay with. This sweet dish was very not sugar friendly and the shrimp lacked crispness. In fact the coating was so soggy that the batter just came off when picking it up. The pricey Vietnamese shrimp and crab cakes (Small Pates) were also average. You definitely picked up on the amount of filler at first bite and also noticed that the center was not at temperature and too creamy. Our main dishes showed and my wife opted for the Special Main: Cod, but she thought it was so so especially at the price charged. My Pork Chop was cooked to my requested temperature and needed some help with the salt and pepper shaker. The accompanying pasta was very firm and had enough Olive Oil on the plate to to help out the pasta. The green beans were fine. There was no dessert for us, but our server used her trusty paper to give us the run down on their desserts. I boxed up my remaining leftovers and paid the check. Be advised that everyone is now charging a percentage for using a credit card, so be advised as it is listed at the very bottom of their menu.

I ordered a cabernet to go with my steak while my partner got a cocktail that I can't remember but was suggested by the waiter. The salads came out first. Very enjoyable. The steak came out with the risotto and OH MY GOODNESS. I swear this was the best meal I have had in YEARS. That is saying something considering I have how many reviews on here? I try a new place any chance I get and I am just afraid that nothing is going to compare to this meal and then I am going to have get a second job just to be able to afford to eat there every night that they are open and rely on meal replacement drinks for the days they are closed because no solid food will ever flavor quench these taste buds. The risotto was delicious and creamy. Rice was not overdone or underdone, completely perfectly cooked. I think we both preferred the gouda over the mushroom but that didn't stop me from making risotto latkes' with the leftover risotto the next morning. The steak, however, there was nothing left of that steak. It was melt-in-your-mouth and perfectly cooked. Best steak I have ever had and this is the one time I got a sirloin over the filet (the price was significant) but if the sirloin was this good, I can't even imagine how good the filet is. We will definitely be back. Like as soon as possible.
