First time at this particular outback and my experience overall was good. I ordered the New York strip as I always do at any Outback and my steak came out perfect. I asked for medium well and that's what I definitely got. The only thing soso about my meal were the mashed potatoes. It was definitely missing some salt but other than that everything was great. Out waiter was nice and super attentive. It was semi busy but I didn't have to track him down which was nice because I usually do when it's busy. There's a lot of seating inside but on the weekends it probably gets packed so call ahead for seating. I will be back! read more

Huuuge portions and delicious steak, can't leave out the bloomin onion with their signature sauce when you're at outback. They had limited time loaded bloomin onion, it was so big we barely made it through our meals. The side mac and cheese I got with my steak was probably the highlight. Their signature cocktails were a little too sweet but seems more geared towards customers who like sweet drinks anyhow. The service was very nice and we walked out full and happy :) read more

Mixed feelings about this Outback. I'll try to be as objective as I can. I came as a group of 4 for the steak and unlimited shrimp special on a Wednesday night. We were seated immediately upon arrival and found our main server to be very nice and helpful. Three of us got the 5 oz steak with unlimited shrimp, which is $15.99. Quick note: you can only choose one shrimp option (either garlic or crispy) and then have to stick with that for the rest meal. I got the garlic shrimp and was extremely happy with my choice, as each plate I got was seasoned well and very juicy. My brother, who got the crispy shrimp with cocktail sauce was also very pleased with his choice as well. However, when we got the steaks, they all seemed to be of size except my brother's. We all agreed it seemed rather small compared to the other 5oz steaks and when the manager came by, he assured us it was still 5oz. We didn't want to have a hassle so we just let it go, but it isn't a good feeling to be served something noticeably smaller than the other same dishes. Of course we could be wrong, but it is what it is. Additionally, aside from our main server, other servers came by our table with our shrimp refills and drinks. One of them seems grumpy and angry, sighing every time she was at the table, and the other server gave a bit of an attitude when we cleared the way and table space for him as he was coming with our shrimp refills in his hand and he scoffed "It'd help if you put this one on your plate, and put that empty one back on mine" wait...isn't that your job? And the plates were pretty hot too so...I don't get it, sir. Just trying to enjoy our meal here with good conversation. Food, I'd say was 4 stars, but the experience and kind of the service bumps it down to 3 stars. Outback is my go to at home for date night. I went out with my sisters family tonight. Was bummed a favorite appetizer item from New England wasn't on the menu, tassie bites. I was hoping to share them. Two of us shared a half order of the aussie chicken quesadilla instead, which was not very filled (I got 1 piece of chicken per triangle and 1 piece of bacon in the 2 I got) and we each house salads. I did get to try the ribs from the kiddos plate and that will be added to my list of musts. We had an attentive waiter, but due to the multiple staff, items were confused, then we ended up with a second order of quesadillas. And beers/wines delayed and dessert delayed. It was a smaller establishment then I'm normally used to and it was very busy. The drive in to it is the only wonky thing. A definite favorite place of mine. If I was hungrier then I would have gotten a steak! read more

I ordered take out today as I always do from this location, they forgot my cocktail sauce for my shrimp and my lobster butter for the broccoli, so I called the restaurant back to let them know and they said they would have someone bring the sauces to me, which they did and when I opened the bag the lobster is yellow which it should be but have something brown floating in it and something that resembles mucus . I took a picture of it which I will find a way to upload this. Now my mind won't allow me to finish eating my food cause no telling what that is in that butter but all the times I've had lobster butter I've never seen anything like that in it. read more

I went there tonight for dinner and ordered a filet mignon cooked well done. When I got the steak it was charcoal on both sides when I cut it, it was bloody in the middle. The quality of the steak was very poor it was very tuff. If you're paying $30 for a steak it should be a decent quality of steak and cooked the way you like it. I'm sorry I only like steak well done. If they don't want to make steak well done when you order they should say we do not do well done. This is the third time I've had steaks from there that are very poor quality. Great service, very attentive bar staff. I had the Ruby Mango Lemonade to start off the new summer menu and it was quite refreshing, not too sweet or tart. I also had the mac & cheese bites but nowhere seems to be able to rival Cheesecake Factory, they were bland, might be better with two or three different cheeses, they were fried just right though, would've never thought to put ranch on them though but it wasn't bad. My entree was a 10oz rib-eye, medium with a fully loaded baked potato and a Caesar salad. I was there to watch the 7pm Nationals game so I was trying to pace myself but I ate MOST of it! The steak was just right, the fat to meat ratio was everything. Can never go wrong with potatoes and steak so the baked potato was everything, could've used more bacon bites though. The salad dressing was also a bit spicy but tasty at the same time. Oh and that little bar saddle they offer so you can have all your food at arms length so helpful! read more

They've really cut back on tack at this location-- from what I remember it's aesthetic was way too gaudy a few years back... now it's VERY simple and clean. All the plates and glasses here came to the table clean as a whistle (even the wine glass, and believe me, wine glasses are SO HARD to get sparkling clean). I ordered the 7oz Filet cooked MR and the Beau had the smaller Prime Rib cooked MR. Mine came out a little more on the rare side; I asked the waitress to have them put it on the grill for 5 minutes more and the manager brought it out, waited at the table to make sure it was to my liking and then told us to enjoy. Very nice wait staff and management. Very clean silverware, dishes, glasses. Delicious food (just if you like MR I would suggest ordering steaks medium... I went out to dinner and sat at the bar. Nobody came for a solid 6 min. I asked to try a couple wines and they took my order. They never came back to see which wine I wanted for dinner. In fact, my dinner arrived, Anna I had to ask for my wine and dinner, but not until I flagged them down for silverware after 2 minutes. I had to let my food get cold until I had to flag them down. I also had to ask for wine. Then the add on crab legs were over cooked. Slow roasted prime rib raw. I ordered medium. Quality was poor. Then I had to ask for lemons for my crab legs whichI requested when I ordered, and water. Then had to flag them down again to take away the extra plate. They were absolutely horrible at the bar. No attention to their customers. I still tipped 20% because that's what a I do, but they deserved 5%. I spoke to the male manager and he apologized, but asked if I wanted something. That's absolutely horrible too! I didn't feel heard and my concerns addressed. I will never go back. I will not recommend this restaurant to anybody I know. read more

Pretty good service and food. We started off with an instant heart attack or the 3 point rib bloom which includes bloomin onion, cheese fries, topped with ribs. Delicious and an overindulgence. My ribeye was cooked at a perfect medium rare. The veggies were pretty bland and the loaded potato was good. The first time the fries were really skimpy and I had to put the chicken in the oven because it didn't taste like it was totally cooked and crispy like it usually is in the restaurant. The second time there were a few more fries, and the chicken seemed a bit chewy but I was hungry and dug in. Next day I felt like I had a hangover after eating those five wings and I threw up multiple times. Pretty sure I got food poisoning from those half cooked wings. My wife and I decided to go here to get a quick meal. It's Friday night around 8 pm and we walk in the front door and we're greeted and seated immediately. As soon as we sat down we both noticed how extremely hot it was inside. Now sometimes you go into a place and it's not what you would have in on in your house but this was so hot I'm not sure how the workers were working there. It's uncomfortable sitting and eating while your hot but working is even worse. When we ordered our drinks my wife mentioned something to the waiter about it and he seemed not too concerned about it and kind of ignored it. After ordering my wife's salad came to the table. A Caesar salad. Simple and easy. Or maybe not. The salad was not good. Maybe one or two croutons on the salad. Overall not a good salad. Main course. I got Alice springs chicken. Overall it was pretty good. My wife got a 6 oz sirloin. For the most part it was good. Only complaint is that the steak had a lot of seasoning on it. So much it was burning her mouth. She had to scrap some of it off. The waiter was a very nice guy. He didn't talk much and wasn't hard to find if we needed something. The only compliant is that he didn't seem too concerned when we told him it was hot at the beginning. To their credit around the end of our meal it started to feel a little cooler but I'm not sure if that's because they fixed it or people started leaving. My family used to go to Outback once every couple weeks a few years back so I figured it was time to check it out again..I would've been better off making my own and spending half as much. Came in for dinner for two on a Tuesday night. It was super slow and service matched the atmosphere; lethargic, clearly bummed to be there.. We ordered a bloomin' onion, as you do..a large portion had the un-fried batter still on it, like a chalky dust, ick. I had a 6oz sirloin, mash potatoes, and a caesar salad. My friend had one of the featured steaks with a strange sauce, and broccoli. Honestly, none of it was very good. We sat and waited for boxes for a solid 10 minutes, and then another 10 for the check..mind you, it wasn't the least bit busy, the servers were all just moaning and bitching to each other..in guests ear shot. Poor Service I don't know what's going on with this place. A few years ago we had been getting such bad service that we would go to the Outback in Fairfax. Then we decided we'd give this place another chance, and the service was good. The last time we went to this place the service just tanked. The weirdest thing was the ketchup. When someone orders a cheeseburger and fries, 99.44% of restaurants will bring out a ketchup bottle. Not this place. We had to ask for it. Then they brought out a tiny little tub with ketchup in it. It's as if the boss said, "Hey you guys. Ketchup is really expensive, ya know, so don't bring any ketchup unless someone asks, and then only bring it in these tiny little cups." I can bring my own ketchup. And extra sauce for the mushrooms I'll remember to bring that next time to. And I'll bring a couple of cans of cokes to refill my drink. This is an upscale TGIF with cultural appropriation. It's an American chain that assumes an Aussie veneer. You couldn't get more American. The hosts and waitresses, who had varying amount of buttons on their shirts, were super quick at seating us, refilling our drinks and getting our orders. Kudos, Cilfton. We ordered a few appetizers, salad and soup, and were very stuffed at the end. I like how the bread comes out like a Sword in the Stone - shaped like Charlie Brown's shoe, with a steak knife sticking perpendicular out of the middle. Sangria was good balance of sweet and tangy (alcoholic), topped with a chunky slice of fresh orange and some slivers of apple ($5.25 a glass). Amazingly, it looked like they had curbside take-away service for people who don't want to or can't get out of their cars. read more

In fact tonight I ordered a filet and they brought me a sirlion. that wasn't even close to the way I ordered my steak. Service was horrible. It took forever for them to come back and check on us. They barely even acknowledged their mistake for bringing the wrong cut of steak (which I did not eat and ended up getting a take home box) other than adjusting the price accordingly on the bill. Chose this restaurant at our daughter's request, as it was her 12th birthday. We notified the host and the server that it was her special day. The server announced she was tired and hoped we wouldn't "make me do the clapping thing" to celebrate our kid's birthday. There were 2 other birthday "clapping things" at other tables while we were there, but none for our child. The food was tasty & came out quickly. No complaints there. Just expected a little more enthusiasm from our server--if we didn't want the restaurant to acknowledge her birthday, we wouldn't have announced it to every employee we encountered. Came here for my birthday dinner a few weeks back. For the first time, I had the blooming onion. I was hesitant to get it, but it wasn't bad! I like that the onion taste/smell wasn't overbearing, as it can be. Plus, who doesn't like fried items? To drink I went with the blackberry sangria. Yummy, with some fresh fruit mixed. It made me want to own a home bar even more because I knew I could probably come up with such a concoction on my own. The part that sucks is the amount of ice that always comes with adult drinks. So you've got to chug everything out of the mason jar - yes, it came in a cute little mason jar - before the ice melts. I wanted more, but I didn't want to spend more for not so much drink. Onto the main entree! We both had the Outback Special, the Sirloin Portabella. It's topped with butter, wood-fire grilled portabella mushrooms and shaved parmesan. I opted for mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. What a great birthday dinner! The sirloin was moist and soft and the melted butter made the perfect sauce to mesh with the mashed potatoes. I wanted more after my plate was cleared, but it was actually the right amount of food. I was so satisfied that I would definitely go for that same dish. I highly recommend trying out that special. Note that when it comes out, it looks "small" compared to what you may expect or be familiar with at Outback, but it is a perfect portion size. Happy birthday to me! read more
