Had a simply grilled tilapia with fresh seasonal veggies. The tilapia was cooked perfectly and the veggies were tender. I informed the waiter about my concern for the calorie content and he made sure that the chefs did not add any butter on the veggies. I was pleased with both the food, service, and the ambiance. So good!! We went there on a Friday night so we knew it was going to be super busy so we called ahead and they were able to cut the time in half for us. After we were seated in less than 15 mins, we were greeted we ordered but one of our items were cold. They were SUPER prompt at getting us a new order and then the manager came out and apologized and took the order off our bill. We are not picky people so we were not expecting that. Made our day!! The meal was delicious. All four of us ordered steak and lobster and they cooked all four steaks exactly as we asked. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Keep driving and find a different steak house. My wife and I decided to dine in on a Monday night when it wasn't busy at all. After we sat down we didn't get our drinks until 20 mins later. Ordered a well done steak and a salad. Salad came but I had to wait another 5-10 mins for silverware. My "well-done" steak was brought out and blood was still oozing out of the side. In the mean time my wife's glass of wine sat empty for 20 mins. Waiter walked by 5 or more times looked at my steak and our empty glasses and didn't bother to ask how the steak was cooked nor did he offer to refill our drinks. I had to ask the bartender for silverware, drink refills then finally asked to speak to a manager. 10 mins later after the manager walked by a couple of times he finally stopped to speak to us. The only thing the manager said was "yeah the waiter is a little overwhelmed" Needless to say we walked out and I opted not to have them recook the steak. It's sad because we've dined here many times and even had birthday parties/special occasions here. The next time I'm craving steak I guess I have to make the 20 min drive out of town to a different steak house (Zenith) next time. read more

EXCEPTIONAL ALL AROUND!!! It was a busy night at Outback last night so we decided to grab a drink at the bar. There were no seats but a couple was leaving and we quickly sat after everything was cleared off. The bartender Sam was so nice and very good at what she did. She was slinging drinks and taking orders with her sidekick Kelsie. Even while being very busy in the bar area we had jaw dropping service. After Sam gave us drinks she convinced us to stay and eat at the bar. We enjoyed a Prime Rib and had it cooked Outbacker style per recommendation. THE BEST STEAK AND SERVICE IN FLAGSTAFF! We never had to ask for another round even while Sam was busy, she anticipated and asked at the perfect moment. We will be coming back from Jerome to see those rockstar bartenders and to eat those perfect steaks. I specifically made an account to give praise to to the food and service. I highly recommend this location!! I wasn't able to get any pictures of the food presentation because we ate everything so fast but it came out looking beautiful. Try whatever the bartender recommends and you will not be disappointed. The location is perfectly off the I-40 and they also have the best mac and cheese! read more

This place had a few positives but sadly overridden by the negatives. The hostess was great and helped us snag a table in the bar so we could watch the NFL playoff game. The server was not rude but obviously less than excited. I'm okay with thay as long as you aren't rude. It's a tough job. I ordered a ceasar salad and it was horrible. The lettuce was noticeably bruised and it was horrible under dressed. The server didn't seem shocked and offer any apology. He did offer something in its stead. The potato soup was amazing. My wife's steak was pretty much still mooing. She had several cuts attempting to find a cooked piece. I told her we need to send it back. Their answer was going to be to throw it back in the oven. We do not throw a cut steak back in the oven unless we want beef jerky back. After my objection they cooked her new steak on temperature. We typically love Outback. Not this location and not this time. I don't see us coming back again. read more

This review is for the bathrooms. We went in this past Saturday and put our names on the list. It was around 3:00, so there was a little wait due to server switch over. My daughters and I went to the bathroom and they were absolutely disgusting. Dirty floors, toilet paper everywhere, toilets looked as though they haven't been cleaned in a month, all 3. Sink area was full of grime and scum. I walked back out and told my husband the restrooms were appalling and he said the men's was in a similar condition. We are frequent patrons of outback and usually have a good experience but after this restroom situation we took our names off the list and went to salsa brava instead and enjoyed a great meal. Please outback stop hiring your managers fresh out of the HRM program at NAU. Sometimes experience is more valuable. read more

We eat at Outback almost every weekend. Food is always good as is the service. We also get takeaway orders ocassionally. The curb-side service is great. It's too bad the food is not. We have ordered ribs-they were burnt on one side. Steaks never cooked as ordered. Last week I ordered a side of green beans. Price was $2.99 which worked out to about 29 cents per limp, yellow bean. Want a great meal-go in, don't get curbside. read more

My family was in Flagstaff for our sons graduation from NAU on May 10th. I made dinner reservations for our family of 7, three weeks in advance. We had a wonderful time at dinner. Only waited 5 minutes to be seated! Our waiter was awesome, our food was great, and the staff treated us like it was the special occasion it was! Our waitress did a great job of making sure everything was okay and the manager even stopped by to check up on us. This is honestly the only place I order a steak. The Victorian Filet melts in my mouth. It's a little more expensive but totally worth it.

Outback has gone to crap. You no longer get a dinner salad with the salmon entree. That costs extra. They have also added "premium" sides for yet another additional charge. What a disaster this meal turned out to be. Nothing we ordered turned out. When our wedge salads came out, they failed to put salad dressing and worst of all they forgot the bacon. We ordered our steaks medium rare and they came bloody rare. Hey, I'm okay with a rare steak, but not one off the hoof still mooing. We also didn't get our bread until after our meal was served. When the owner of the franchise asked us, "How was your meal?" We explained to him the issues and seemed concern, but walked away as he was preoccupied with something else. On our way out he was standing at the door and I told how disappointed I was with our experience. He told us, "I'm sorry, I forgot about you, I intended to get back with you". He asked how he could make it up to us, but I told him to forget about it because we won't be back. read more

12/29/15, table 11, 7:50 p.m. I took four family members for dinner, the bill was $140+. I went online and was able to put our name on the list and when we arrived we were seated promptly. The food was excellent, however, our waitress was very rude, rushed us and seemed very annoyed. One of my family members is disabled and this waitress became very impatient especially with the drink order and decided it would be best if my disabled family member drink water. Our drinks were never refilled, even though the waitress said she would come back and refill them. We waited forever to get a to-go box, waited forever to get the bill, and when she arrived asked us if we were paying separately...is this Denny's or Outback? This waitress does not fit the Outback culture and should be released or transferred to work somewhere else in the restaurant where she isn't dealing with customers. read more

First the front desk service was slow. I ordered a prime rib end cut, and I know it's supposed to be somewhat rare, but it was so rare it wasn't cuttable and it felt like I was eating the inside of a cow. The service was good, except the waitress kept insisting on us buying dessert, even though we told her no several times, and we were stuffed to the brim. Other than that, the service was good. I don't know how the rating on 8/23 regarding the sweet waitress Darcy and how that person thought she stole her $$ - I ate there twice over the past year and both times Darcy was my waitress. She was exceptionally sweet, wonderful wth our children, and even questioned the large tip we gave her once for being such a great waitress. She was trying to make sure we didn't make a mistake and we didnt :-) I would highly recommend anyone go to this great restaurant - and be SURE to sit in Darcys section.nyou won't be sorry! My visit to Outback was great! I was only in town for 2 days visiting from Tucson. I will say the service was good and the dishes was better. THE ONLY DRAW BACK was the wait, if you haven't noticed Flagstaff isn't big in the social scene. so the people don't have many options this is likely the blame for the wait. read more

Disappointing. Midday lunch. Wife had sirloin/shrimp combo, steak was tough and full of gristle, overdone. I had ribeye ordered medium rare, came back as almost well done. Steak was thinner than a piece of bread and burnt edges. Mentioned the sirloin to server and he shrugged it off. Had to ask for refill on ice tea. read more
