The Mac n Cheese here is amazing I'll start with the Steak, this was the plate my boyfriend ordered. The steak was made medium rare, I usually like mine Well Done. But was not disappointed, it was flavorful & will order it again for the next dine in. The sides are great, i was afraid to try anything new so i went with the mashed potatoes & mac n cheese . I'll start with the fact that the Mac N Cheese here will be the sole reason as to why i will dine in here again. It is so freaking good . I can't wait to have it again. The pork chops here are flavorful as well . I like the honey sauce they pour over on top. it pairs so well, as I was skeptical at first but delighted to try. I'm taking a star off because it seems that the waiter didn't want to be there. Service was slow. He also didn't write down my order; hence at first I got chicken instead of the salmon I ordered. The food on the other hand was delicious. I opted for a grilled salmon bundle. One chooses between a salad and soup. Then the salmon comes with two sides of your choice. The fish was cooked to perfection and so were the baked potato and steamed veggies. And the meal includes a small cheesecake with a topping of your choice. I chose chocolate. It's delicious. Great service by our waiter. I ordered the blooming onion and hadnt realized how many spices the coating has. It is too much for two people perhaps. Note that it does not taste the same the next day lol. The warm bread and soft butter were perfect. The caesar salad had a few pieces of gone bad lettuce and it wasn't as crisp. The steak was undercooked a little but i didn't mind. My date had to send his back to cook more and the manager quickly brought it back acceptably cooked. The baked potato was good. The only reason I even ordered from here was due to a gift card. Their 'curbside' is laughable. First off, they should disclose where their 'curbside' is upon ordering. God forbid you walk into their doors for curbside after parking because it's too much of an inconvenience for the staff to retrieve the ONLY CURBSIDE ORDER THEY HAD but instead they'll tell you to go park in the 'curbside' which is 99% occupied by vehicles that ARE NOT CURBSIDE ORDERS. Steak was just okay and tasted greasy and pan-fried. My fiancé ordered chicken tenders and he was happy with his meal. Our drink flight took 25 minutes to come out and didn't make it to our table until after the food arrived. Went for lunch today and was very surprised with the attitude of the hostess. We eat at this location on a regular basis and have always had nothing but great service and good food. Today the food was good as usual, the waitress and food runners were efficient, professional and friendly. The hostess on the other hand acted like she was doing you a favor to show you to your table. Didn't say hello, welcome or squat when we walked in. Took us to our table and both of us said thank you and she just glared, never said anything. Fortunately the rest of the staff were the usual helpful professionals we've always experienced at this location. I came here with a friend for dinner. I ordered the chicken wings as an appetizer and the rack of ribs with vegetables as an entree. I ate the chicken wings, which were very filling so I saved the rest of my food for the next day. The chicken wings were very good as usual. Seasoned very well and piping hot. They were not pink and tasted fresh. I had not eaten at all that day as I only eat once a day now. As soon as I got home I ended up throwing up. I barely made it in the bathroom! Then for the rest of the night I had the opposite of throwing up (terrible!!). I would have to surmise I got food poisoning from here as I got sick so soon after eating. My friend who dined with me did not get sick at all. He didn't eat the same items and in an glad he didn't get sick. I do like Outback's food and I have eaten here before without a problem. I'm not a fan of chain steakhouses unless we're talking about prime steakhouse. But I had a couple of $10 bonus cards to use so I decided to come here with my sister for lunch. We came in on a Sunday around 1:00 pm and there wasn't a big crowd dining here. We immediately got seated and our waitress came to greet us not too long after. She brought up some delicious bread and gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. My sister ordered the mango tea (delicious) and we started with a half order of the Bloomin' Onion (still too much for the two of us). My sister decided to order the three course combo (only available on Wednesdays and Sundays) and I ordered the 10 oz rib eye. For her three course, my sister went with the Caesar salad, 8 oz sirloin, and ice cream sundae. Her meal also come with a side so she opted for some Aussie fries (pretty much just regular fries, y'all!). As for my rib eye, I opted to get some fries and a cup of tortilla soup. The soup came out first, it wasn't anything special. Pretty good, but nothing special. The steak came out not too long after. I have to say, the cooked it just like how I wanted it (medium - not over or undercooked). The rib eye didn't taste too bad, but for the price, I'd still rather go to the Hideaway on Dunvale for their steak night. You get a much bigger steak for a much lower price. Also, in my personal opinion, the steak at the Hideaway tastes so much better. I had a taste of the Sundae and it was pretty much just a scoop of vanilla ice cream with some chocolate syrup poured on top of it. No cherry, no nuts, nothing special. Good enough to satisfy my sweet tooth, I guess. At the end of the day after my $20 bonus cards, our meal still cost around $30 ($50 without the bonus cards). Not too bad for steak, but still too much compared to the Hideaway. Will I be back? Probably not by myself, But if they offered more bonus cards, or if there's some special, then yeah, sure. My husband picked up dinner from here tonight. It was pretty good overall. My ribeye was a perfect medium and baked potato was good with all the fixings packaged ideally and easy to make your loaded potato. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because they know they were wrong for having those raw carrots in the steamed mixed veggies. The squash was firm but didn't have the raw "crunch" like the carrots. I put all my carrots to the side and tossed them. Overall a pretty decent experience I just know not to order the "steamed" veggies. read more

I was given time to peruse the menu by my waiter, Corey, and the manager even came by to check on me and see if I needed help deciding on an entree. My glass was refilled without asking, and my 8oz Sirlion was cooked to perfection. Medium well, no steak sauce needed because real steak eaters know that steak shouldnt need steak sauce if its cooked correctly! I thought I had ordered the shrimp on the barbie with my entree, but I hadnt. Corey had it added to my meal on the fly, but by the time it came, I knew I was full! I ended up boxing half of the steak, asparagus (which by the way was very tender and tasty), and the shrimp that made for a delicious 2nd meal to end my evening. I ate the loaded baked potatoes since they had sour cream. Not very good to take and eat later, but definelty yummy with the sour cream in the middle of the scoop--quite creative. Plating was also very neat and tidy with sprigs of color sprinkled on my plate or the alignment and shape of side dishes complementing and highlighting the main entree. Bathroom needed a little refreshing (smell wise), but not in disarray that the facilities could not be used. If I would have paid out of pocket for the entire meal, it was a little of $25 dollars by myself, which is not bad at all. My friend doesn't speak a lot of English, so our server was practicing his Spanish with him and it was such a good time! I don't laughed together and his service was exactly what you expect from a restaurant. The food was also delicious, they ended up over cooking my steak a bit but he brought me a free piece of cake, so, since food is my life language, I accepted and forgave them lol. I was staying at the Houston Marriott Westchase nearby and looking for a place to dine for my last night there. I ate at the hotel restaurant the first night and wasn't a big fan. I noticed there is an Outback Steakhouse within walking distance and I have never eaten at one before. I wasn't in the mood for steak, but I did a fancy a hot meal. I was able to walk in with no reservation on a Saturday evening and the host told me to wait a moment while they cleaned off the table for me. They put me in a two seater right by the bar. It was great because I got to watch the game. I was greeted by my amazing server, Julian. He had the most amazing energy and took great care of me. He was timely and responsive and I was in and out of there in less than an hour. I ordered the perfect grilled salmon with a side salad. He also brought out complimentary bread and butter while I waited. All together the food tasted good, the service was excellent, and the prices were extremely reasonable. The environment was fun because of college football and a packed bar. On my way out I was approached by one of their servers, Anthony. He sat down with me and complimented my outfit and said I look like someone from LA. Little did he know that I spent 13 years there. Pretty decent ribeye. It was moist and flavorful. I always get my Ribeye steak medium well. I won't eat them ANY other way. So...happy they got the cook on the meat right! Nice loaded mashed potatoes. Nothing special. They went overboard on the sour cream so I literally scooped the entire thing off. Typical salad. House salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
