We had an early dinner reservation at 5:15 and everything went smoothly. Ashley was our waitress and did a wonderful job making sure we were taken care of. Waters came out exactly as ordered, and the food didn't take long to arrive. Everything came out hot and fresh. We started with the baked potato soup and a Cesar salad, then the Shrimp on the Barbie with fries, which was tasty and cooked well. The broccoli was excellent, fresh and flavorful. The 6 oz steak, however, was mostly tendon and unfortunately very tough to eat, which was disappointing compared to the rest of the meal. Due to time restrictions on our part, we got cheesecakes to go -- a sweet finish we were glad to have later. Overall, it was a great deal for a three-course dinner, with attentive service and smooth timing. Ambiance was casual and clean. Ashley helped me when the gift card didn't go through and took it to the back. I do like Outback but not the steak I got today.

I always looked at Outback as a childhood favorite, nothing more, nothing less....but let me tell you - I was wrong. It's still just as good as I remember. The food was delicious, steak cooked to perfection, salmon juicy, Mac and cheese perfect amount of cheese and noodle, and the veggies but wait, there's more, they have a $9 margarita that can hold its own. Our server was super cool and attentive. The restaurant is a very casual attire spot with a sports bar feel by the bar. Don't sleep on Outback like I did!

It was a beautiful night to enjoy dinner with my team after a Conference planning meeting at the Marriott in Westchase area (Houston). We selected Outback Steakhouse as the place to dine. Talia was our waitstaff and she was gracious and hospital from the start. Service was fantastic! Restaurant was clean and bright with festive Christmas decorations around, very fun! Dinner was tasty, but the highlight of the evening was the gingerbread cookie martini, talk about delicious! Yum! Beautifully served, smooth, creamy and with a cute little Koala bear donned in a Christmas outfit, that you could take home! So cute!

Well my department was having a year end lunch and this was literally down the street from my office. And Outback did not disappoint. We arrived at 11:45 and the hostess quickly sat us down (party of 9). The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered our food and drinks and were greeted to complimentary bread and butter. The lunch menu is great and fresh as well. Well worth the price. I would highly recommend Outback for a quick lunch if you're in a rush. The quality of the food is amazing.

Our server was very kind and took the time to engage in conversation and get to know us on a personal level. She also gave us a tour of the restaurant, which made the experience feel even more special. The owner even stopped by our table to welcome us since it was our first time visiting. One of our favorite parts was the cinnamon coffee. We enjoyed it so much that we wanted to purchase some to take home, but the gift shop had already closed. The manager overheard us asking about it and actually opened the gift shop so we could buy the coffee. That is truly putting customers first and making sure they have the best experience possible. They did everything perfectly. The food was just as amazing as the customer service, and that says a lot because the service was outstanding. We are already planning to go back for our wedding anniversary on June 7, 2026, and we can't wait!

Located in River Oaks area, very elegant classy decor, a great interior to celebrate any special occasion. Service was good, no complaints there. Food however, was not up to par. Not worth the price. I ordered the Filet mignon and it was good but Perry's steak is better flavor wise. The sides were the most disappointing of all. The whipped Boursin potatoes are almost identical to boxed mashed potatoes. The macaroni and cheese was identical to boxed or velveeta. The red velvet dessert was ok, a bit too sweet and seems more like the frozen chocolate lava cakes you except red velvet. I couldn't believe it, I never thought I would have this kind of review but it is the honest truth. I will not be back here. It is not worth the hype.

It's a nice lowkey neighborhood spot with a bar and outdoor seating as well. The ambiance was chill and casual which I am all for. They are pet friendly as I got to see some fur babies come in which is always nice. We started with some glasses of Cabernet and told our waiter we were celebrating my birthday. The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake. They weren't too sweet and just the right amount of richness. If they aren't on your list for steak night I definitely recommend!

We enjoyed a glass or two of wine, tossed some darts, and soaked in the relaxed, unpretentious vibe. It is casual in the right way. Easy to talk, easy to stay, and not trying too hard to be anything other than a solid local bar. The real highlight, though, is Posty the bar cat. An adorable black and white cat who clearly runs the place. Getting to know Posty outside was an unexpected and genuinely charming moment that made the stop memorable. If you are a cat person, this alone will win you over. Even if you are not, it is hard not to smile. Great drinks, darts, friendly energy, and a bar cat that steals the show. Post Beer & Wine is exactly the kind of place you hope to find when hopping around Houston, and absolutely worth a stop even if you are not on a crawl.

The puff pastry was flaky, steak had good flavor, and the sauce paired perfectly. Calamari was standard. The ambiance was formal and very Texas forward. Great spot for a nice date night. Everything was a 10/10. My second time here was just alright. It might have also had to do with the fact that I went during Houston Restaurant Week and got one of their specials. However, the quality and service was just very different. Steak was ordered medium rare and came extremely rare. When we sent it back, they cooked it well done. Nevertheless, I would give it another try and recommend going outside of HRW. 8/10!

So imagine my disappointment when my beautifully cooked steak came finished with olive oil. Thankfully not much but enough to make me immediately say 'ughhhh'. You don't need oils to enhance beef!!! Bread service was amazing. Mustard butter incredible. Mashed potatoes were fine. Corn soufflé I took one bite of and gagged. So not good. Raw barely cooked mushy corn bread with wet corn, slimy peppers and cheese on it. HURK!!! Not good. Dessert however was sadly the most disappointing. A baked pecan dessert with ice cream. Ummmmm. It was a ball of ice cream baked Alaskan style with basically no pecans. Just some odd cookie pieces in it. Had they kept the steak plan I would say this was the best steak in Houston I've had so far but I can't even say that. Sides didn't save it. Service was fine.
