A solid experience. I was in the area and wanted a steak so I came in. It was early and at lunch time so the place was relatively empty. I was seated right away and given a menu and my favorite bread. It's been a minute since I've been to Outback so I perused the menu for a while, and opted for the sirloin with the house salad and a baked sweet potato. The salad was great I still love the ranch dressing. The steak was ordered medium and came out pretty close tho slightly more close to medium well. The baked sweet potato was my absolute favorite. Service was good, she was very nice and quick to bring the food out. The place was quiet even though a few more people arrived. Bathroom was clean. Would come again. read more

We visited Outback Steakhouse for a date night and it was good from start to finish. We didn't make a reservation and we seated right away near the bar. Our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and considerate of our time as we needed to make our movie reservations. We ordered a variety of menu items to share; Bloomin' Onion, Coconut Shrimp, Grilled Shrimp, and Blue Cheese Chopped Salad. Everything was tasty and cooked well. The dressing on the salad was a little heavy so I would ask for light dressing next time. The Bloomin' Onion was a little too salty for my taste so I wouldn't order that again. Overall, we had a good experience and will visit this Outback Steakhouse location again. read more

We stopped to eat at Outback Steakhouse in Inver Grove Heights, MN, around 2:30 on 6/7/26. My husband had steak and lobster and I had a $35 steak that I ordered medium rare. My husband ordered his with a baked potato with butter and sour cream; came with no butter. The steak was not how he ordered it...it was rare. I ordered my steak medium rare and I ordered french fries on a separate plate with no salt. Mine came with the salted french fries on a plate with a bleeding RARE steak on top of it. I sent the bloody french fries back and received new ones with no salt. The steak was horrible and I could not eat it. Even though it was rare, it was tough and I could hardly cut it. Took three bites and left the rest of the steak and did not even take it home. Went to pay the almost $100 bill and they now have it set up on their screen that you HAVE to leave a tip in the amount they choose. We were able to change the tip to a lesser amount but there was no way you could not leave a tip. We would leave a tip anyway as it was not our waitresses fault other than she should see that a bleeding steak should not be on top of the french fries. The restaurant's floors were filthy and the bathrooms were filthy. We will NEVER, EVER go to to an Outback Steakhouse again. In today's economy, spending almost $100 for a meal should mean you would have an excellent experience. What a letdown. read more

A good experience from beginning to end - 4 stars. After shopping at Gerten's (around the corner), we went to Outback to grab some dinner. I hadn't been to an Outback for at least 10 years so I didn't know what to expect. I was hoping for the best. Our food was very good and the service was excellent. LOW CARB: It was easy to eat low-carbohydrate/keto/carnivore style at Outback. Of course, everyone knows they have plenty of steaks and burgers. But they also had no problem serving me a steak ala carte. Fortunately, they don't force you to purchase plant base sides. I ordered a boneless ribeye. It was very flavorful and it was cooked perfectly. Of course, this isn't a Chef Ramsey, farm-to-table, made from scratch kind of place. It's a chain. For what they are, they do a great job. Went to Outback tonight (Saturday) to use a gift card won from work. It was so busy that there was an actual wait (which,we took to be a positive thing). It was busy but not obnoxious or loud. When we were seated, we had a server who quickly became less enthusiastic when we didn't order alcohol or appetizers. It took a long time to get food, and I didn't receive one of my sides. My shrimp were like something I could have bought and made at home myself, and my steak was under-seasoned but cooked as ordered. My spouse later informed me the table behind me didn't get ANY of their sides and had to ask for them. Our server didn't show up again until it was time for us to pay, and was 100% over us when we said we weren't staying for dessert. IMHO, if your kitchen can't get my order right, and another server drops our food at the table, I've lost any faith that dessert is going to save the day. A 30-40 minute visit tops turned into a little over an hour. Simply put, I wouldn't recommend this location. read more

Look, I don't usually leave reviews, but here's the deal. I ordered a special dinner for my son for his birthday. I got a couple burgers with the meal. On the ordering option, it asks how I'd like the burgers cooked (medium rare, rare, medium, medium well, or well done). I chose well done for the burgers, as I always do. They came to our house rare (Door dash). My kid rejected it and I ate it since I'm dad, and that's what dads do. An hour or so after, I had three rounds on the toilet and threw up the dinner. It was wildly undercooked. I can guarantee the staff didn't even look or consider the fact that I ordered a well-cooked burger. Worse, it made me physically ill. We went out for date night on Saturday, Dec 7 to Outback Steakhouse. We arrived around and were happily surprised there was a table opens d we would not have to wait. I always order the Victoria fillet and enjoy every time. I was nudged into trying something new this time and chose a chimichirie (spelling?) filet. I asked if it I would get the same cut of beef and was assured yes, just presented differently with sauce. What I got was a dry Caesar salad with no dressing and an entree floating in oil. The steak was semi-sliced and although I ordered it medium, it was as tough and overdone as shoe leather with loads of grizzle that I couldn't eat. That was after having the wrong order brought to our table and forced to argue that it wasn't our food. By the time the right food arrived, it was cold. My husband's steak was no better he says as it was not the tender, flavorful meat we had come to expect. No one took notice we barely touched the food and never asked if we were satisfied giving us no chance to tell anyone about it. I have been up sick from eating what I did all night and have nothing to show but a $135 charge on my Visa. SO DISAPPOINTED. read more

Outback This isn't the typical restaurant I go to when I go out to eat but this is one of my dads favorite places for an affordable steak so we made the stop. We went during the week and it didn't require a reservation, however if you want to make sure you get a table, it doesn't hurt to make one. You can't go wrong with the free bread at Outback. It's fresh, warm and comes with whipped butter. Definitely tough to hold back when the smell of fresh bread is wafting in your face. For our actual meal, we all ordered different cuts of steak: 2 filets and 2 sirloins. They were cooked how we each ordered them but mine was slightly overdone for the medium I asked for. However, the sirloin was flavorful and tasted great. Shrimp was also apart of the dish which was seasoned greatly and not overdone which can easily happen with shrimp. I ordered veggies as my side and again, the cooking time was a problem; some were underdone and some were overdone, but the serving size was plentiful. No dessert today but we enjoyed our meals. I would come back but I just prefer independent restaurants that are more unique, unlike some of the chain restaurants out there. read more

My uncle and I went to lunch here yesterday and everything was amazing. Our server Cindy was absolutely fantastic, she was so funny and entertaining. You could definitely see the great teamwork and positive morale the front of house staff had which was amazing to see. Have eaten frequently at this restaurant. Over the past year have received very poor quality steaks. When you order a filet you don't expect a steak that is barely 3/4 thick skirted with fat and gristle, served with vegies so limp you can't get them on your fork. I know inflation has caused restaurants to make changes around quality and quantity but I would have gladly paid more for a decent steak. I won't be back. read more

We stopped in yesterday for lunch after visiting Gertens Garden center. First we ordered drinks and they were good-bloody Mary and strawberry lemonade! Then they had a great soup and salad lunch combo. French onion soup that was SO good. I had the burger and it was tasty too. The only problem was the baked potato that was cold in the middle- no problem because I got a piping hot one in 5 minutes. Went to Outback to celebrate a family birthday and I was very disappointed with a number of out meals. I ordered a Rib Eye, at $24.99 I expected a much better quality rib eye, but what I got was not even close to a $25 value. I am not even sure it was a rib eye cut to tell you the truth. With the "rib eye" I ordered a loaded baked potato, by far the best part of the meal and a blue cheese wedge salad. The salad descriptions: about a 1/2 jar of blue cheese dressing (evidently this is standard to over dress), some bacon bits and most of the head of iceberg lettuce (including the core - see photo). Tells you about the quality when they can't take the time to core the head of lettuce. My wife decided to go with a salmon salad, the waiter asked if she wanted the dressing on the side (she should have taken the hint). What she got was some lettuce , salmon and other vegetables coated in dressing and also swimming in a pool of dressing (see photo). She made a comment to the waiter who apologized and then said "yeah that's how they make salads here and why I 'recommend' the dressing on the side". She asked if he'd show someone the large puddle of dressing and he said "yeah they know" Bottom line is we paid well over $100 for four very poor quality meals (a fish and chips that was all batter and done average lamb). The quality was very poor and the meals very over priced. I would not recommend this restaurant and I certainly would not consider it a steakhouse. read more

"Meh" pretty much sums it up. I had dinner here with some clients who proclaimed this their favorite place (cue sad trombone noise) - this location doesn't seem to be appreciably better or worse than other OB's. It is BUSY though! Every table was full on a random Wednesday, so groups might want to call ahead. Fortunately, my clients were really happy with their dinners, so that's all that really matters to me. I opted for something light and ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna app which is sashimi style peppered tuna over Asian slaw. The actual fish was pretty darn good for a non-sushi restaurant. A wee bit fishy and overly salty, but honestly not bad at all. The Asian slaw, on the other hand, was a total salt lick to the point of being inedible. Had I not been with customers, it would have gone back. Same thing with the broccoli side I ordered - very heavy handed on the salty seasoning. Service was "okay" too - we had long waits for drink refills, etc but I think that had to do with the place being packed as our server was really hustling. I've had worse chain food and I've had better - if you like Outback and don't mind excessive salt this location will probably do you right. read more

STRAWBERRY PEACH SANGRIA - excellent, could drink this one all night Puréed strawberries and peaches mixed with Malibu® Pineapple Rum, Sutter Home® White Zinfandel, pineapple juice and garnished with fresh sliced strawberries. SEARED PEPPERED AHI - very good Sashimi-style Tuna seared rare and placed atop an Asian slaw. Served with a creamy ginger-soy sauce. FILET MIGNON & LOBSTER - very good, correct temperature A tender and juicy thick-cut 6 oz. filet paired with a seasoned and grilled lobster tail. SLOW-ROASTED PRIME RIB - very good, correct temperature Seasoned with an herb crust, served with au jus and hand-carved to order. SALTED CARAMEL TOPPED CHEESECAKE - very good Aussie-sized slice of premium New York-style cheesecake drizzled with our rich salted caramel sauce.
