Bad service, very slow. Manager walked by our table without asking how our visit was. Staff does not care about their jobs. My daughter ordered a kids meal that came much later then our dishes. Her side of "fruit cup" consisted of one sour strawberry chopped up and orange slices that were clearly plucked from the bar. Please do not waste your time and money on this awful place. Corporate needs to step in. On the way out the door ( after two long hours) the two hostesses and a server were just standing behind the counter chit-chatting ....did not say "thanks for stopping ", just ignored us. Got there late around 8 in town for parents weekend. The hostesses sat us right away and were very nice. They tried to put our group 3 big men at a booth table in bar area but we asked for a table. Maybe we should have stayed at the bar area because from then on it went down hill. We were seated at a table for 6 but thats ok more room and it wasbgoing to be last turn for the night. We waited for 15 min befor I had to ask a waitress if she could help. Unfortunately, she was not because she was very pleasant. She did take our drink order though. Then came the waiter he was a little awkward but that was ok he was pretty attentative which was good brought us some bread took our order and food started coming ordered the lobster tail and center cut steak combo. The lobster was great the steak was not at all. Probably had 2 pieces that were good. The rest I could have chewed for a month and still have not been able to get through. Chef should never ever put this steak up for consumption for a human. Maybe a tiger or lion would have liked it. So as the pile of leftover chewed steak grew on my plate the waiter comes over and asks is how is everything? I did not have the strength to complain as it was late and I was still weak from wrestling with my food. Management should train wait staff to look for these things and to ask was there something wrong with the steak? I should asked for a credit back for this but instead paid over 150 for our meal and left. As we drove by longhorn steakhouse on way home I wondered why we did not stop there instead. Horrible food! I ordered the Outback special, half of it was edible after I grilled it myself. The other half was veins. With the steak I ordered loaded mash potatoes, turned out be the consistency of wall paper paste and not loaded. Absolutely awful!!!! I would give zero stars if that were an option read more

Terrible! Many open tables but not enough wait staff. So many people waiting for tables that were "open". Service was poor. Asked for a side of ranch dressing with the onion. waiter "forgot". The girl that brought it out gave the"uggh" and eye roll when asked for the dressing. Never saw her again.Finally asked a third person (not our waiter) and he managed to handle the request. Chicken was under cooked for my wife. My steak was OK at best but not worth the price. They look to be in cost saving mode with little to no dressing on my salad. Dipping sauce for the onion was less than half filled. Avoid this location! I have been to many other good-excellent Outback restaurants in the mid west.This is NOT one of them. read more

We had a prime rib and Tilapia with crab. Both were so heavily seasoned with "something" that you could taste the underlying food at all. I personally love spicey and well seasoned food but this was terrible. read more

Went here for a family outing. Thankfully this place doesn't automatically add a gratuity for 8+ people! Sadly the service wasn't that great. My sister order fettucini alfredo. It came out with no sauce, or barely any. The servers helper went on arguing with her saying that that is how it is served and nothing was wrong with it. Once our server was there she kindly offered to get more sauce, which is what should have been done in the first place! 10minutes later the sauce comes out and is completely different from what is on her pasta! She takes a taste and says yeah. There was no sauce on this, it's just like melted butter. Then my brother ordered a steak rare and it came out cold. Like really cold, had barely been on the grill cold. We know what rare is and he got plain out raw. The edges had barely any sign of touching the grill. Other than that took forever for mixed drink, but the side salads were good. read more

Went on Sunday 10-30-2016 @ 7:30pm waited 15 mins.for service . The steak diner excellent. The pasta terrible no sauce on noodles layed chicken breast n shrimp on stick on noodles n told me sauce was @ bottom it wasnt I asked for sauce they couldn't find took 15 mins for sauce when they brought sauce runny n didn't taste like anything noodles were cold!!' I absolutely love to eat here for two reasons. The service is always good & the food is just as great! My boyfriend and I went the other day for a quick lunch. TERRIBLE FOOD AND HORRIBLE SERVICE Outback experience I hardly ever give negative feed back....THE SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. I was w/family traveling through Ohio we were all in a good mood. The waitress ($$&5;) had some kind of personal problem I don't know what was going on with her THE ONE THING I KNOW WITH 100% CERTAINTY the problem didn't start with me or my family. So as a understanding person I said maybe she is having a bad day that happens to everyone. Maybe it was a isolated incident. IT WAS NOT!! I informed my husband we should leave. He said we are already here we should stay. This( 5@98;) attitude got worse I'm NEVER rude with waitress/waiters handling our food for obvious reasons. This (7$57,$), I counted to 10,then to another 20. From this point, all dialogue came from my husband. We ordered Aussie fries and Hot wings as appetizers. THE FOOD WAS TERRIBLE!! The Aussie fries was ALL DRIED OUT like potato chips with old melted cheese, plastic like, I ate 1 fry and it was like eating l*ys potato chips. My husband asked her to take this order back because it WAS NOT EDIBLE. This ($&8:4) asked what was wrong with them WITH A ATTITUDE! I started to count again I TUURRNNED and looked at this(46$&7) IT WAS ABOUT TO BE ON...My husband said please bring check quickly. Everyone at the table including the(7$4:48) knew how this was going to end. (I should have taken a picture) My husband stated they are not FRESHLY MADE AND THEY HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT ALL DAY AND NIGHT. THIS(5743?) THREW THE CHECK AT HIM. My husband told me to go to the car. I WANTED TO SNATCH THAT BI*CH UP...EVERY ORGANIZED RELIGION IN THE UNIVERSE SAVED THIS BI*CH. He said to me we are not from here. If you "handle" this (5?&7.) they will call the police. I'm in the car pissed ALL THE WAY OFF. The more I thought about it the more upset I became I got out the car walking quickly to the door my husband stopped me. To keep me from showing this(457?6) what a REAL ATTITUDE LOOKS LIKE! Visited this outback last night. I sat at the bar. The service there was below standard. I ordered the 14oz sirloin medium well. Side salad with ranch and a baked potato. They tried to give me a side salad with French instead of ranch. The baked potato must have been cooking all day because it was over cooked. The steak was very plain. Thank goodness they had A-1. The steak was also cook more medium rare than medium well. The service at the bar wasn't very good they were more worried about stocking the bar and being on their cell phones than servicing they're guest. I watched a guy come up to the bar and he sat for five minutes or better before anyone helped him. I would not recommend this place and will not return to this location. I decided to give this place another try. Came away disappointed once again. The service was better than the previous visit but the food wasn't cooked the way I asked. Asked for a medium well steak it was closer to rare than medium well. The baked potato wasn't cooked well either. It was about half way cooked was all hard from being under cooked. The waiter asked if I wanted to get the steak sent back to be cooked more but we all know that dilemma. No tell what they're libel to do too it because you sent it back. Sad you have to take your dinner home from a restaurant to finish cooking it. That was the final straw with outback. Lost a customer for good. read more

Service was beyond slow! Took 10 minutes to get drinks another 10 for bread 10 more for a onion and 25 after we ordered our food. Waitress was almost nonexistent. Food was editable but barley blooming onion was more like tumble weed burnt and crispy potatoes were like paste and steak was like a shoe sole! Won't be bAck to this location again. My boyfriend and I went to celebrate my birthday this Saturday (4-6-19) and I am very upset with the experience. First we were sat and waited for about 5 minutes to be greeted by our server. She stated that she was eating.. I'm a server too but that was unprofessional (might I add that I have worked at an outback before).. She got out beverages and everything. Once we ordered I got my soup, at this point we still had not received bread or any silverware, I had to ask. She brought two side plates with the bread, both of which had brown dots on it, and one looked to be a dried piece of cilantro on the plate. seriously? washing dishes isn't that hard! I got the potato soup and I had maybe 10 potato chunks in it, which was disappointing. Then my steak arrived, I ordered it medium just as i always do. this steak was extremely well done. About 8-10 minutes after our server dropped our food off she came to check on us. My boyfriend was nearly done with his meal and I had yet to even start mine. I expressed my concern and she said give me five I'll be back with a new one. AT LEAST 15 MINUTES go by, at this point my boyfriend has been done with his meal for a while and i STILL hadn't even gotten my steak. The manager finally brought out my steak and asked me to cut into it to make sure it was correct. This steak was rare to medium rare, again not medium how i ordered it. I was disappointed yet again. I told her it was fine, boxed it up and figured I'll just heat it up at home and by then it will be cooked right (because I should have to cook my steak properly for outback) My boyfriend order fries and mashed potatoes (he loves potatoes) After we left we realized we didn't even receive his mashed potatoes. Honestly this experience was horrible, really made my birthday a bit less special because of all of the issues. Our server stated she would get me a birthday dessert, which was probably the only good thing about this experience. Oh worst part, It would have been one thing if our service sucked and it was busy! BUT! we were our servers only table, i'd hate to see her busy! our sever was nice but provide terrible service, the food was not prepared well AT ALL, and this whole thing was just such a mess I don't even want to return. Outback is one of my favorite steakhouses but this was just terrible. An overall upsetting experience because we drove over thirty minutes for a disappointing meal, and what a waste of money! I hate to complain as i have been a server for about 4 years and my boyfriend has been a cook and server for about 3 years. They don"t take reservations at this Outback, instead, they have a call ahead option. When you get there on time, your name goes on a list like everyone else, then you wait forever. Reception service sucks - they keep lying to you about how long you have to wait - most people give up after an hour and leave. read more

What a joke!!! Managers were cooking .. Ordered a surf & turf 6oz filet mignon & lobster tail. Instead of a filet I got a 6 oz sirloin over cooked .. server went to tell them a girl came to ask me about steak told them I never seen a filet migon less than 1/2" thick & that they served wrong cut of meat. She replied managers are cooking and they know their cuts of meat. WRONG answer. They need to be educated. Other than that my server was great! read more

Terrible experience. We were traveling home to Illinois and back home we no longer have an Outback so our group was excited to stop and eat. Our waitress' hygiene appearance was nothing that I would allow if I was a manager. Her hair was very messy and looked dirty. We ordered our food and she forgot items that we asked for. 1 guest got the completely wrong meal. The bun on my burger was charred....it crunched and crumbled like a crouton, it was so over toasted. 2 individuals ordered steak and 1 wasn't cooked right the other was flavorless. Specifically asked for load mashed potatoes, came out plain. When the guest who got the wrong meal, finally got the food he ordered, the rest of us were finished eating. AND his corrected order was minus his fries. When the manager came out with his fries, she apologized because she said they had just came from the fryer....obviously NOT true because they were cold and soggy. They did comp our bill but there wasn't much of an apology. We are now back on the road, unsatisfied and partially still hungry. What a HUGE let down, Outback! :-( Oh and the temperature in the restaurant was not comfortable...too cold and even COLDER in the ladies room. read more

I am giving 3 stars because the sides saved my Dinner with my husband. His steak was cooked as ordered and the mixed veggies were good too. I love lamb and had been looking forward to having lamb all day. The dinner contained 3 lamb chops and I ordered them cooked well done. Thank fully the sides of mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies were very good. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 chops were nearly rare. They were bloody as I cut into them. The first one I eat was cooked correctly and I enjoyed the sides. When the sides were gone I started on the lamb again only to be greatly disappointed. I will be sticking to getting lamb from Rosie's on McCord and no where else. read more

Great service! Food was nicely portioned and tasted great. Tables were full. Server and hostess were very accommodating. We were seated quickly and able to stay and chat. One of our guests had dietary restrictions and they were able to accommodate perfectly. Will definitely go back :) read more

I have always loved to go to Outback but.... my last experience was not good. I ordered my steak medium rare. It came out WELL and dry. It's Valentine weekend and I came in by myself because my wife is attending to her mother. I ordered my usual, Outback special, medium rare, veggies, salad and the mushrooms on the side. My steak and veggies come out and the steak is cooked to my medium rare specs but the meat is actually cold to the touch... I literally touched it with two fingers. So, I politely ask to have it returned and recooked... I'm sitter my at the bar so the bartender obliges, apologizes and takes my plate away. They return about 20 minutes later with another steak, cooked the correct way but yet again cold to the touch... I relent this time... I'm it's cooked to the right color, but it still feels like it's been sitting in the back too long. The steak is still tasty and the sides are all tasty... So a small disappointment... Resulting in 4 stars instead of their usual 5 stars. read more

It was New Year's Eve. Our 'call in' was for 5:30 PM. My wife and I got there about 5:10 PM. The parking lot was full. The waiting area was over full, but the holiday spirit was still alive and quite a few nice little chats were shared with the other folks waiting. We finally got seated around 6:15 PM (sort of expected for a busy holiday evening). Our server was a very pleasant and polite young man. Cocktails were good, the onion petals and crab-filled mushrooms were good, the chicken tortilla soup was good, and the house salad was good. My prime rib (ordered medium) was well done, dry, hard to cut and barely warm. The au jus could not add any flavor or moisture to the meat. My wife's ribeye steak (ordered medium) was nicely chared on the outdide, but it was served well done, rather difficult to cut, and not much on the flavor and juciness. Rather disappointing. Will not likely order these entrés again. May not go back... haven't decided. read more
