Slow service Food overpriced and not eatable Steak was too small, overcooked ordered rare and came fully cooked. Chicken was very spicy and unable to eat. Should have been advised by waiter of such. My question is - What happen to your establishment? We were monthly diners and after this third bad experience, we are moving on to Texas Roadhouse where the service is superior to yours and steaks are always cook to order. Outback seems to be undergoing a money grab phase. No bread served. Prices have gone way up-even more than a couple of months ago. Hamburger alone is $13 now. Portions are smaller. No major issue there for me, but they appear to be skimping on dressing for salads and the blooming onion. Our blooming onion arrived with half cup of blooming dressing. Ranch was mayo, no seasoning. I received, 2 steaks, 2 potatoes (plain), no lobster, coconut shrimp, salad, 2 bread, no broccoli and no dessert. When I called and finally got through, they told me they are on a limited menu. That menu does not have lobster. However, I was charged for everything I ordered but they only delivered half the food. After we were cut off, they no longer are answering their their phone. I am here on vacation. This Outback is located right in front of the Melbourne Square Mall. We stopped in for lunch, not too busy. We were greeted upon arrival and seated right away. It's clean and the bartender/server was very nice! I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and it was ok. There was very little chicken, it was all batter. So, eh...and my BF had the fish tacos, which he said were great. The waiter meant well, but asked us three times if we would come back and see him. Party of 6, we were there with family and friends celebrating my husband's birthday. Dinner was good, our servers were great. We were excited about having a Bloomin' Onion before dinner, my hubby loves them and I had never tried one. But what was served was in some weird place between overcooked and burnt. WTF? Isn't that is your signature dish? That one shouldn't have been allowed to leave the kitchen. Everything was delicious including the onion petals we had as an appetizer. The steak tacos are served in a soft shell with a tangy slaw. The steak was cooked perfectly at med rare. Coconut shrimp delicious crunchy and dipped in sweet sauce so good. Alice Springs chicken cooked perfectly. We do this often order two completely different dishes and share it all. I just wanted to share my experience from last night. We went to the Outback on 192. Our server Shawn was amazing, one of the best servers we've had in a while. He was efficient & proactive. Not only that but all of our food came out quick, hot, & delicious. I got the blackberry sangria which was amazing as always and a 6 oz filet with a sweet potato and steakhouse Mac and cheese. Bad Experience ! Stopped for early Dinner @ approximate 4;00 PM. Was told it would be a 10 min wait--Resturant was 3/4 empty with many empty tables-some un bussed . Hostess was borderline surly and slovenly in appearance . Chopped salad was wilted and tired, I had to repeatedly ask about the onion soup that was finally served late and after the salad. Soup was at least hot but watery and anemic, not full of onions as I had previously experienced. Wife and I each ordered the 6 oz sirloin . My baked potato was Luke warm (would not melt butter). Both steaks were a joke ! Very difficult to cut and full of ligaments. Flavor was ok on those parts we could eat--but it was the sorriest piece of sirloin I have ever had the miss fortune to get. Over all a laughably bad experience--the only bright spot was the server who did her best , what happened was not her fault. I have been to many Outback locations and it is unfortunate that this new arrival has been my worst Outback experience to date. First of all our server was very friendly and I don't blame her. After ordering a cocktail it took FOREVER to get it to the table. I clocked 30 minutes for one signature cocktail and a glass of wine. Pathetic. I ordered a wedge salad and a lobster tail. Went to Outback to take advantage of the steak and lobster special. After waiting more than an hour for our food to arrive at the table, we spoke with waitress and manager and left. According to the manager, they were short staffed in the kitchen. I fault management for the delay, either manager should have jumped in to assist kitchen or move staff around so that food could be delivered to tables in reasonable amount of time. We were a party of 2, the restaurant maybe had 15 tables that had people seated. There was absolutely no reason for us to be sitting at the table for more than an hour waiting for our order to be delivered to the table. We placed the order within 5 minutes of being seated. The waitress/bartender was great. I put full blame on the kitchen and management staff. We left Outback and went to Longhorn, had a wonderful meal and were finished dining and back home in an hour. I feel if we had stayed at Outback we would have hit the 2 hr mark before even thinking about being able to leave after eating. Manager at Outback did comp our drinks and the cup of chili my husband had but that was only after I demanded to see her (wasn't looking for comp, just wanted management to know how terrible the experience was). Our server was extremely nice and doing the best she could considering she was making all the drinks behind the bar in addition to serving the table around as well. There wasn't really anyone else helping her make the drinks for the entire restaurant. She was super sweet and kind and had a good attitude. However the food was horrible. The steak was over cooked and the vegetables didn't even have salt on them. The shrimp was over cooked and dry. Overall won't be eating their again based on the quality of food. Ordered the Bone-in Ribeye dinner. Did curbside pickup. When I got the meal home, they forgot to include the salad. The Bone-in Ribeye was 1/4 fat and grizzle. It was a terrible cut of meat. The fries were in a dish about the size of a cup. Most disappointing Ribeye I have ever had. Give credit to the chef. What meat that was there was cooked as requested. What happened to Outback Steakhouse? They used to be one of the best steakhouses. Sizzler would have done a better job and they would have charged half the price. Go to Longhorn Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse for a good cut of meat. Don't waste your time or money with Outback Steakhouse. Simply remember the good ole days when they used to be awesome, and head over to Longhorn Steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse. read more

Actually this review would be a 3.5 star review. It all started because......both my brother and I was was very very hungry and was craving a steak. Once we got here on a Sat early evening about 6p there was an hour wait. Which was fine because there was a mall in walking distance which we walked to in order to kill time. This gave us the opportunity to look at the menu in advance so we can place our order as we were being seated. This speeds up the process tremendously, and eliminates the # of times your server has to come to your table on a busy night (just my opinion). The service & atmosphere was average. Now to my favorite part, the FOOD!!! For an appetizer we ordered the wings, which I love outback wings. They have a very unique flavor and taste. Their not fried but baked and seasoned very well. For the entre I ordered the Ribeye special - Smokey Bacon Bourbon Bone-In Ribeye steak (see picture), cooked Medium Plus (Between Medium & Medium Well) w/ a fully loaded baked potato. The steak was nice and moist, had great flavor. The bacon bits and bacon strips laid on top of the steak with a drizzle of bourbon sauce added a sweetness to the flavor. Almost reminds me of a similar steak called the Steak Maui made by J. Alexander's, but not as good in the overall presentation and taste. An aspect of the service that stood out, was that my brother had a to go box and mistakenly left his steak on the table. We didn't realize it until an hour later. We were still in the area, so we stopped back by to see if it was there, and the server put his to go box in their fridge just in case he came back by looking for it. I would've thought the server would've trashed the box. But I was impressed how thoughtful they were and attempted to keep his to go box in their fridge atleast until closing. #DJEATSFLA read more

Rood extremely long time to receive our soup, salad and appetizer. Wasn't thinking too much about it at first but should have mentioned it to the bartender. A couple came and sat next to us ordered their dinner and we are still waiting for ours and it's over an hour at least by now. Guess who's food came first the couple sitting next to us and we've already been there over and hour. Asked for an explanation from the bartender and he had nothing to say. We decided to get up and pay for what we ate and leave. Sooo now the bartender wants to get a manager and that took long so we start walking out to leave and before we get to front door speak with a manager. Restaurant was not crowded we waiting a very long time for our dinner, couple came hour after us and got their meal. No explanation from staff and or manager.
