Waited 40 minutes to get a table. Waited 15 minutes to get waited on. Waited 25 minutes for our food! Our steaks were barely warm our grilled shrimp were less than warm, but our backed potato's were steaming hot! The waitress was very friendly but she was multi tasking by training someone. Just had lunch here and the food as always, was perfect. Place is beautiful and comfortable. One of the very few eateries where I get the burger the way I like it...medium rare. I visited this location this past Saturday, 10/17. my blackberry martini I'm pretty sure had no vodka in it. I say that because I mistakenly took a pain pill before I went to dinner. after I ordered the martini, it occurred to me that the vodka and the med would hit me harder. wrong! not even a slight buzz, and I couldn't taste the vodka. it was only $6.00, but I don't like being cheated. I have a flavored vodka at home and I can definitely taste alcohol when I use 1-ounce of the vodka. My filet mignon wasn't fatty like the porterhouse I ordered for Mother's Day, but it wasn't buttery-tender. now we have Longhorn around the corner, so there's competition for Outback. I've been ordering the Victoria filet mignon for 15 years this is the fourth or fifth time in a row where I have not been happy with my steak. My server wasn't not friendly, but she was not attentive. She did not offer me a refill on my iced tea. She wasn't rude, but she didn't act like she was glad to see customers back in the restaurant. Finally reached someone and they told our meal is on the way and they threw in a cake for the inconvenience., 15 minutes later the manger called and said our order was never placed and no dinner is on the way. I am so disappointed. After working for outback for 14 years and taking a break, I was so excited that one was opening near us. Not for me to work, but to finally not have to drive to go get some awesome food and service. Not. Even. Close. My husband and I went in and sat at the bar. They weren't that busy and still nobody spoke to us for about 4 minutes. When they did it was just a "Can I get you a drink?" No "Hello," no "My name is..." Nothing. Then they dropped a couple of menus and just turned their backs. It was another 10 minutes before they asked if we wanted to eat. So we ordered. Whatever. The food came out and there were things gs that were forgotten and a bit overcooked, but we ate anyway because the bartenders were roo busy gossiping with another employee and a bar regular to even check on us. My husband had 2 bites left of his 16 oz prime rib before they even checked in on us. Never offered us bread with our salads. In this time, my beer sat empty for 20 minutes before I just gave up on asking for another. My husband practically had to beg for another drink and they walked away with his glass so gast that i didnt even have a chance to ask for a beer. Even though there was an empty glass in front of me when they dropped his drink in front of him. We were walked past, ignored, and treated pretty badly. All the while hearing one girl complain that she had been there all day. An employee's parents sat right next to us and got undivided attention. While my empty glass and stacked plates just sat there. My husband put his RED credit card down on a WHITE napkin in front of us and it took her walking past us 7 times and talking to her family to notice it. All we wanted to do was get out of there. I get it. I was in the service business for 20 years, 14 of them at this company. I am never one to complain and I usually make excuses for why our service is bad sometimes. There was no excuse for this. As we walked out, the hostess never acknowledged us, but it could be because she was shoving pizza into her mouth. Totally unprofessional. I would also like to add that once we left (after tipping close to 20% because I still can't bring myself to tip less even when things are bad) I drove past my house to a hole in the wall bar to get that second beer that I was never offered. We will never go back. And I am so sad to leave this review. I am also sending an email to the regional manager and managing partner. A store open 2 weeks should never fall apart like this. Especially when the bartenders are transfers from other stores. I would expect a slip up from a rookie, but from a transfer and trainer, I am just sad. I hate to see a place fail, but the town is buzzing with how bad it is there. And we are in a small town. I hope they can have a meeting and get it together. read more

Hahahaha, Maybe I am a food snob but this chain just doesn't cut it - even with a steak knife. Reasonable prices but for bad food. The two stars go to the mound of batter onions though my stomach hours later takes exception to that rating. My filet was cooked per my instructions - med rare but def. wasn't a high quality steak since my jaw refused to continue chomping on the piece of meat after 4 minutes. I know you should chew and chew your food to prevent overeating but there was no problem with this happening with this meal. Just about the best cooked cow on earth. Or at least around my tiny part of it. Servers were top notch. The drinks the bartender can mix are just about perfect. Service was prompt and the food was cooked just as requested.......except for once. They ran out of the cut of meat I ordered so the cook prepared a different cut without notifying me. I was fine with this but wanted to joke about it. Before I could take my first bite the manager was there to comp the meal. I tried to say no because I was still happy to chew on some cow but he insisted. In the end I had a great meal with great drinks and made sure to take care of my server. So why not five stars???? My wife and I decided we should have a date night in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday and we were craving Outback's Bloomin Onion. We arrived and were greeted warmly by the hostess who seated us near the bar area which was fine because we weren't segregated to some corner. Within seconds of being seated we met our server Michelle C. She was delightful to say the least. Made us feel genuinely that she was glad were there and that she got to serve us. Within a minute of two we were enjoying some of the coldest draft beef we've had in a long time. Of course we decided to start with the Bloomin Onion that arrived hot, delicious and huge. It was big enough to take about half of it home for another date night this week. Michelle C instinctively knew when we wanted/needed something. Not pesty but attentive. We decided to make it an app afternoon and ordered the ahi tuna and the new steak and cheese dip. Neither disappointed. Atmosphere, delicious food and especially special service. No major problems here. Plenty of parking, but may be short on ADA spots, especially since clientele are more likely to have permits. Outside seating was great. Clean and exposed to fresh breeze with no bugs. There is an adjacent outside covered smoking area which could be an issue during peak times. I went in with a service dog and staff were very accomadating. Provided a water dish for my akita, which she appreciated. Isles were wide enough for me to navigate with a 100 pound dog and my mobility challenges. Prime rib was cooked as ordered and delicious. Cesar salad was bland as mentioned by other reviewers. Had the smallest sweet potato that I have ever been served. About the size of a closed small fist. Penny wise and pound foolish management. The outstanding accommodation by staff for service dog is the only reason a four star was earned. Otherwise a three star outback, with a good facility balancing out food deficiencies. Been in many Outbacks over the years and loved them all. But this one - not so much. Took my wife there where she ordered a steak medium, which is usually an invite for whatever they want to serve you, so to make sure she said "pink". Came out blood red. So we sent it back and after eating alone for 15 minutes a manager brought it back charred to a crisp saying here's your well done steak, which nobody obviously wanted. Once we explained the story he took it off the bill which was a plus, but I had to stop at Burger Fi to get her something to eat. read more

Was in outback-Naples (41 & 951). Asked if the $15.99 steak was tender? The waitress was very good and helpful. She went to the kitchen and ask the cook, she came back and told me that the only tender one was the filet mignon. Of course over my budget so I ordered the pork that in the menu says tender. When it came back it was just as hard as a brick I ordered it medium and it was so well done I could not even cut it. Eat 1/4 of the pork steak. They compensate by giving me one piece of cake for free. Not going back. read more

If someone told me this story it would be just comical, at first the first order got messed up but the manager came by and corrected because he saw the mistake, but after we thought things were right it all went south, when the main course came out the waiter dropped a full cup of ranch on someone and ruined a sweatshirt that that person was wearing then by mistake there was miscommunication between one member of our party and the wrong food was sent out. We thought it was going to be fine because the waiter was very apologetic but when we all got our bills, which by the way we're all separate bills, and my friend's sweatshirt that got ranch spilled all over it had to pay full price and the extra order that was brought out by mistake, which after discussion was agreed that it was a mistake was charged fully to an order, used to love outback, but the new saying should be changed from "let's go outback" to "never go outback" And yes I was there 6/7/20 read more

This location is horrendous. Haven't gone in 2 years since the service was so bad last time, went against my better judgement tonight on St. Patrick's day, theres no way there was 15 people total in the whole restaurant, server disappeared for about 10 minutes, we ordered our food (party of 2) took well over 25 minutes to get made & when it was ready, it was brought out by the manager who slapped the plates in our face and immediately walked away. Didn't ask if we needed anything, didn't ask if everything looked good, because it didn't. I was literally missing my potato and she was missing her au jus. Again- less than 15 people total, MAYBE 5 people eating food, the rest are at the bar. It just blows my mind that the service can be this bad and it takes this long to get 2 steaks when there's this little people eating. I've been to a lot of outbacks but this one is consistently the poorest of the poor in service and overall experience. Easily will never be coming to this specific Outback ever again and not recommending it to anyone who asks about this location. They need to take notes from the Outback in north Naples or something because my God. Do better. read more

Placed an order for delivery. Overall it was quite good. But little things matter. Like the Caesar salad had enough dressing for about half the salad. In the restaurant this is no issue as you ask the waiter for more. In delivery or takeout, it's a big issue in that half the salad is worthless. Same with the garlic butter steak sauce. Very little, and what there was leaked out of the container it was in and into the bag. So didn't have that. Steaks that were quite good made the overall dinner mediocre. Outback like so many others doesn't get it about packaging for take out and delivery. Won't order again. read more

Anyone that thinks this long-term Corporate Franchise is really a steakhouse has never been to one. Appetizer/Bread Plates were dirty/greasy as was the table. Blooming (Gimmick) Onion overly greasy and perhaps the oil needs changing as it was dirty brown as was the coconut shrimp giving it that burnt unappealing taste/appearance. Quesadilla loaded with more mushrooms than chicken and what's with the honey mustard? Lots of cheap cheese, dark tasteless mushrooms, this was more a lousy grilled cheese to toss in the dumpster. Lousy salad, potato soup inferior to Campbell's with less than a pinch of cheese. We cannot fathom how this Corp crapola survives for so many years - Mgr offered other food but it's like if you serve us a turd are we going to ask for more? NO! The only testimonial that Outback lives by is that American Marketing works. This Pseudo Aussie concept should DIE as it fails to live up to it's original birth/concept as it's become an Outhouse Food Quality! Not even the wait staff were happy working this place! Worse than horrible,,,chicken Caesar salad bland, complained to manager who said there wasn't enough dressing on it and proceeded to bring a container of a different dressing to add to it. The Caesar dressing is not the deliciously garlicky dressing of years past but a commercial substitute that tastes like every diner Caesar dressing you ever had. My burger was served dripping grease, no catsup was offered and the bottom had chopped lettuce with mustard. The burger was ordered medium and came raw. The waiter dropped the food off and was never seen again, my soda was never offered a refill. After sitting waiting for the check for 20 minutes we dropped some money on the table and left. The waitress tells the kids to go ahead and eat it but we won't be charged only to return and take it back. We now had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes for the correct appetizer. The salads come out only to be missing one of them so while everyone else ate their salads one of us sat their waiting yet again. As I ate my salad I notice several pieces of romaine well past their time. Finally the main course! Same result and more excuses. The kitchen lost the ticket so again we were missing an entrée. Not once did the manager come out to address a single issue. Really bummed that we chose to eat here with so any other options. read more

Took over an hour and a half to get food. The restaurant did call about an hour into the delivery to tell us that it was going to be late because they were busy and there was five orders ahead of me. Ok great. Thirty minutes later it showed up. The delivery girl was awesome and apologetic for being late. That's really not her problem she did her job. Got the food and everything was cold. Cold steak with cold lobster. The baked potato wouldn't melt butter. Cold coconut shrimp and Mac and cheese. As busy and great they are they should be able to keep food hot. We had a bad experience at carrabas and the manager nick was kind enough to reach out and send gift cards. We decided to try outback next door which didn't disappoint. Food was amazing Truly !!! And I'm a foodie. Megan, our server, was amazing. Happy to be there. Truly wanted to make our evening a great one. Food. Service. Cleanliness. Exceptional. Only issue was a "service dog" decided to sit next to us. Laid in the walkway. The owner never looked at him once. No water. Nothing. Irritates me to no end that people take advantage of this over and over using a "service dog" vest to bring their pet into a restaurant. He stared at everybody who walked by. Stared at diners. And it wasn't his fault. It was his illiterate owners. Not to diminish the 5 stars I'm leaving outback and Megan I thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thank you outback. You didn't disappoint!! The food was great. We had a terrible experience with the server though. We were there this past Thursday night. I don't remember her name, but she was absolutely terrible. I was ordering an appetizer sampler, an entree, and a dessert. I planned on having leftovers to take home. Trying to put my order in with the server was nearly impossible because she kept on repeating "that's a lot of food", but in a very judgmental way that also made me not want to order. She seemed upset that I was ordering so much food?? I understand having an opinion, but don't throw it in someone's face especially when they're your guests. read more
