Had lunch here today. Wife asked about a new chicken and shrimp fettuccine that manager said was yummy and spicy. It was delivered to our table and pasta was mushy overcooked and fettuccine sauce was bland as hell! Waitress asked how our food was and wife complained. She turned to talk to me with rude zero response to my wife! Later the manager came to our table, told her the same, and NO response, just have a nice day! DO NOT ORDER THIS DISH!!! First of all the food was Exelent! The service....not so much. Unfortunately we were assigned to a server that was "new" as the manager informed us. I should have known from the start when Lisa said she could not take our almost duplicate order all at one time. The martini that I ordered did not come till after our bread, salad and food was served and even then I had to ask for it. My husband ordered an unsweetened iced tea with a lemon. He was served a sweet tea with no lemon. He also was served his sweet potato without the toppings he had requested. Bread was cold and stale. When we finally got Lisa's attention to exchange his sweet potatoe for one with the toppings he had ordered, the manager later appeared asking about the situation. She was very abrupt and when we explained our concerns, she said that she always backs up her severs and that Lisa is new. The manager explained that there were no more sweet potatoes and my husband could get a regular potato with the fixings. She also took our drink orders off the bill. I've ordered the Teriyaki Filet Skewers at other Outback locations many times, and they're normally excellent -- tender, flavorful, and clearly filet. This visit was a major disappointment. The meat was not filet. The texture and chew were much closer to skirt steak or another lower-quality cut -- tough, grainy, and lacking flavor. The portion was small (around six pieces total), and the teriyaki glaze was barely noticeable. I ate it because I was hungry, not because it was good. Given how consistent this dish usually is elsewhere, this felt like the wrong cut or a serious quality control issue. I won't order this again at this location. read more

Strange all around. Warned about the awful smell in the bathrooms as we walked in. Their floors are very slippery, also warned but odd because they are not wet. They are out of several items to include broccoli. After ordering, the Server said the chicken was not marinated for the required 2 hours, only 20 minutes. We placed the order at 11:40 am - 40 minutes after they opened. The Server had us order something else. It seems the team is too comfortable saying no or disappointing the guest. The ambiance was not a problem. Our waitress was great! Problem was they tried to pass a fat filled prime rib off as a ribeye steak. Yes same meat but cut different. This "steak" looked horrible! My family and I went for dinner, walked in host was very nice and welcoming. Got sat our server kailey was very nice, we have kids and they love to talk. She was very patient with them. Our food was hot and yummy. My husband got porterhouse he always enjoys that steak everytime we visited i usually get the filet always cooked to how we like it. I definitely recommend this outback. When we visit Osage Beach, we often find our way here for dinner. Though we are not drinkers, we enjoy dining at the bar to engage with the bartenders. They have the local knowledge of live music, etc. The food is consistently good, throughout the country. We will be back again this summer. read more

My wife and I had travelled to Osage Beach a week ago Sunday. We were hungry and pulled in to Outback, had not eaten at this one before but have always liked Outback. We were seated promptly and after a bit the waitress came by and took our order for a couple beers and mushrooms for appetizers as well as our order for dinner. Beers came out within a bit and appetizer followed. After quite some time a young man I assume a manager came by and took my beer mug never asking if I would like another or if everything was ok. Then the wait really began. A good number of customers had come and gone after us but we still had no food. We noticed our waitress was taking care of the bar and never once checked on us and we were 10 feet away. I am not one to raise a stink so we waited some more. Finally our waitress came over and asked how everything was and I said couldnt tell you as we havent got our meal. She said she would check on it but she was also responsible for the bar and making drinks, poor management. A lady manager then came out and said the cook in the back had hit the wrong button and delayed the order but our meal would be out shortly. She also said they would comp the appetizer for the trouble. She came back again and said it would be 3 minutes as the meat had to rest before it could be served. When we did finally get our meal my steak was drowned in pepper and over cooked. My wife said hers was ok. We were there over an hour and i went to pay my bill to see they conveniently suggest what you tip. The restaurant was maybe a 1/4 full on a Sunday evening. The only tip I have is Customer Service is everything and if you have 2 managers walking around with a 1/4 full restaurant no one should be forgotten! read more

I ordered the filet mignon broccoli and mashed potatoes as you can see in the picture below I ordered by steak rare, and although it was rare, it still should be hot. If I was cold, mascaras tasted like they've been sitting out in harden and they were cold as well, not even warm, as if they were under the warmer, I really didn't want to even tell the waitress I just wanted to eat, pay and leave. Did a quick sled pick-up ordered via ubereat. We ordered a three cheese steak dip. The dip itself is not very big. The taste was rich and heavy, quite filling being an appetizer. Worst Outback I've been to. I ordered the 12oz ribeye and grilled shrimp ($30.99), steak cooked rare. My wife's ordered the 8oz filet medium rare. My ribeye came out looking like a steak from a $10.99 all you can eat buffet...thin and well over cooked. My wife's filet was also over cooked and tough. We sent them back and the ribeye they brought out was cooked rare, but I had to cut off half of it in fat. My wife's filet tasted more like sirloin than filet. These were not $30 steaks. The service was decent and the server was apologetic about the steaks. The on good thing was the Blooming Shrimp. I do recommend those. But I would not recommend this Outback. read more

Another excellent dinner, maybe because we got there early. Our server Jackie was friendly and on point, the Asst manager, Keith was friendly and helpful. Our ribeyes were both A+++, the potatoes could've been warmer and a little more generous on the sour cream. Our mushroom appetizer was tasty, the sauce, tasty but it was spicy. NOT the best outback! I've been eating at outback since 1994, and this is the last time I'll go there. First, I ordered a large Caesar salad. I expect "large" to be equal to at least 2 of the side salads. It was maybe 1.5 times the size of the side salad. Instead of $3.99, it was $11.99. The croutons were soggy, and the dressing very thin. The baked potato was not done. It was dry and hard toward the skin. The coffee was absolutely horrible. To be fair, the water with lemon was good! My daughters had grilled Salmon, which was presented horribly, and looked barely edible. The Bloomin Onion was soggy, and greasy. The days of a nice Outback Special are sadly over. Replaced by a hockey puck on a plate. And the Salmon...long time no sea. Sad...very sad indeed. read more

Went in sat down, then had an urge to use the restroom. Washed my hands and was disgusted by the nasty sink and faucets. None of them have obviously been cleaned properly in weeks or longer. Calcium stains everywhere, on the chrome, and counter top,, which would not be present if properly cleaned daily. Returned to the table and my drink glass had micro crusties on the rim. The server brought out a platter to set the blooming onion on and noticed it had hard chunks that were practically glued in place (photos posted). It obviously was not my crusties food because no food has been brought to the table yet. The cleanliness of this outback steakhouse was outright disgusting. read more

Had to wait to be seated even though there were plenty of seats. We were given a pager and waited 7 minutes. I found this typical of all Outbacks though. They want to appear more busy than they actually are. They sat us at a table where the sun was shining directly in my eyes. I was literally blinded. I asked a group of waitresses if they could close the blinds. All looked dumbfounded, looked at each other, and then acted like they couldn't close the blinds. Thankfully, there was a nice man/customer who closed them for me. The steaks were blackened on top and seemed a bit more tough. I haven't had them cooked like this before, but they were still good. Outback makes their own Caesar dressing and its always good. I recommend it!!! Pretty good place to eat. We left stuffed! read more
