Went for lunch had the steak and lobster. Would not recommend. The lobster was literally 2 bites. The mash potatoes were really lumpy. The steak was OK have had better at Texas Roadhouse. The portions are small nothing like the photos. I said something to my waiter about the extreme small lobster tail. He said the night before some asked about the size and because it was so small he didn't order it. I would have ordered a bigger filet. So instead of making a better recommendation he want to pad the bill to raise his tip. So his tip suffered, should have warned me I would have tipped better. How do you determine how many stars to give an establishment? Door dash order, a splurge for one, nearly $40. Order is accurate, prime cooked to order, not bad. Probably the smallest sweet potato I have ever seen, but definitely plenty considering the you also have a salad. Ah yes, the salad. Ok so I had to take a few slimy pieces out, not the end of the world. The cucumbers smelled delish! I fish one out on my fork and think, whoops another slimy piece of....wait a minute, that wilted lettuce on my cucumber that I nearly consumed just moved. Checking the windows, no it's not a breeze I lower the cucumber to its original resting spot on my salad and gently take my fork and nudge this little piece of lettuce that had the audacity to take on an impersonation of a green worm. Or perhaps the reversal, yes that must be it the green worm impersonated the lettuce, hitched a ride on my salad to offer a friendly visit because I was eating alone tonight. In all seriousness I am forever grateful I eat my salad last because had I consumed it before the steak I would have clearly lost my appetite and not eaten my $40 dinner. I did attempt to notify the restaurant that they may have one of this little guys family members being held captive in the salad bin; but upon calling, asking for a manager when the young man who answered the phone said no problem let me get him for you. He then set the receiver on the counter and said hey, it's for you, I hear another male voice say, "for me?!" And the response was yeah, they're asking for a manager. About five seconds later someone hung up the phone. Thus I leave it to you, 5 stars for the steak and incredibly friendly Doordash driver? 3 for the tiny potato and slimy lettuce? 2 for my little friend? Or perhaps 1 for extreme inconsideration when answering the phone. I have lunch here fairly often. I enjoy going to the bar area, which has open seating. The waiter thy regularly works the bar here is one of the best servers I've had. He's very attentive and remembers my order (because I go here so often haha). I usually get the chicken with barbecue sauce or the center cut sirloin, comes with two sides I get the seasonal vegetables, right now it's green beans and a side salad. Their blue cheese dressing is incredible. I always have a good lunch here, will be back again! read more

I was there yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was about 3 in the afternoon, and we sat across from a party of three. The woman with her back to us was in a motorized wheelchair. She was a negative Nancy on wheels. She complained about the way her food was prepared. When they brought it back to her approval, she accepted it, and mentioned to others in her party how she should get her meal free. She didn't. She had the server separate the ticket for her mother and asked if there would be any discount for the error with her meal? They offered a free dessert. She left for the bathroom and when she returned she looked at the dessert menu and complained all had flour. Aaah, but the server knew his menu and pointed out a gluten free option. She agreed and a member of her party commented she at least got a free dessert. When the server returned with her dessert and asked if there was anything else, she told him the handicap bathroom stall was too small to accommodate her and they needed to widen it. He got the manager and the manager explained ADA requirements and that their bathrooms were per those requirements. Yes, I was listening, while I conversed with my friend. The reason I write this is to commend the staff for handling this customer with patience, grace, and empathy. She was out to get a free meal and put them through the ringers and they responded well. The food is always here. Been going to this location for years and have never had a bad meal. Service is always fast and efficient. Good job guys! read more

Its been years since I've been to an Outback and I won't go back after this experience. The servers literally dropped food on the table and scurried away. The steak was clearly tenderized ... I could tell it wasn't a good cut of beef by how it fell apart when I cut it, and it had a gritty texture. The blooming onion was more of a burnt onion and the hunk of brown bread tasted like a dinner roll they give you on an airplane. Also they overcharged us by just under $10 ... I caught it and they corrected it, but this blatant inattention to detail intensified the bad taste in my mouth. read more

My husband and I brought my mom in tonight for her dinner birthday. She ordered the porterhouse- it was delicious! My husband and I both ordered the Victoria's Filet (6oz and 9oz respectively). We both ordered the steaks medium rare. The gentleman who ran our food was absolutely wonderful, very personal and friendly! We (my husband and I) both cut into our steaks, mine was medium rare-almost rare-and my husbands was medium to medium well. We swapped steaks since I'm more willing to eat steak more done than him. Both of us had a difficult time cutting into the meat due to the marbling and some primary tendons in the cuts. Not to mention my husbands steak was pretty cool on the outside regardless of the temperature inside. We alerted our waitress and she immediately went back to the kitchen to request new steaks be put on for us. While waiting, the manager Kevin came to our table. He was very apologetic and understanding. We explained that we knew it wasn't anyone's "fault", and it's just the luck of the draw since the cooks don't know what a cut will be like until it's cooked and cut into. He took our old steaks to get them out of the way, and offered to bring us something to snack on while we waited for our new steaks to come out. We declined, but thanked him for his kind gesture. Our waitress brought out our new steaks and they were perfectly cooked. There was still tendons and a smaller amount of marbling- but we decided it wasn't enough to bring it to our waitresses attention again. This seems to just be out OutBack Luck, we order the same cuts of meat each visit and either it's absolutely perfect, or we have to send the first steaks back due to the fat content and tendons. Again, no ones fault whatsoever, but super glad they handled it so well! 3 stars because the service was wonderful, but the cuts were just under par this trip. Won't keep me from coming back! Lazy diner syndrome took me here on a cold night. Everybody knows the lazy diner syndrome. You simply cannot decide on dinner nor make an effort to drive a little to find adventurous eats. So...as I was driving past the rows of restaurants, I succumbed to the lazy diner syndrome... and I find meself in the Outback. It is an Outback. Consistent and mundane. I plopped myself down at the bar and was served shortly. And yes, I got a Miller lite. Yes... very run of the mill , typical pale ale of no distinct flavor nor profile. It was cold and that was good. Dinner , .. yes I had some. I forget what it was. It was either chicken or steak. It was hot and salty. Totally fitting for a plate of grub. However, the highlight of the meal, was the patrons around the bar. I finally clued in.. this is like 'Cheers'. Everybody around the bar, knew everyone else, except me. It was interesting to watch the banter. And then there was the odd and awkward glances looking over to me. Yes, yes.. i am not in the circle of trust yet, but please let me observe your banter. I was at Outback last night with a few friends. Usually the food is pretty good and I have no complaints but I tried their new Prime Rib sandwich. It was terrible. The meat was overcooked and very dry. It was like they used ends or whatever was left over from their prime rib. My husband tried it and agreed it was not good. I asked for bbq sauce as well which did not come with the meal and there were exactly 10 fries with the meal when the platter comes with two sides. New steak nachos: a great addition, recommended. Each time I come, the service is terrific. The manager is extremely active in customer service here. I normally have low expectations when I order salmon, but the salmon here is always in really great condition. I've recently tried a new menu item - steak nachos, using fresh cut potato chips. It's a really nice change. I usually get the Cobb salad or an entree and veggies and my companion likes comfort food such as a burger. Was at this restaurant 11/3/23 for dinner with a family member. Had to return my steak dude to it being not appetizing still had silver skin and just didn't taste good at all. Was compensated for it. Our waitress was just terrible by the end of our experience there took 20 minutes to get a check in a empty dining room after the complaint. Came back 3 times to tell us she either forgot or was still waiting on management. When we finally got the check I had left a certain tip. When I had check my back account the next day for an updated amount I was surprised that our waitress had ADDED more money to her tip. So with that I will never be attending another Outback Steakhouse especially this one. That is fraud, stealing and who knows who else she has done this too without them noticing. I did a short review when I started doing reviews and I came to give Outback another try. I was unsurprisingly disappointed. I had the prime rib dip sandwich with a baked potato. My mom had a sirloin salad, and my son had a kids grilled cheese with fries. My mother's salad was spot on with her steak temp just as she ordered it and had a good amount of dressing and crisp lettuce. My son's grilled cheese was also pretty good and had crispy fries as side. My sandwich however was extremely dry and flavorless. Even with au jus I couldn't seem to get it to not be dry. It also came out with fries even though I ordered a baked potato and the guy dropping off the food seemed irritated by the whole thing. Our server was very bland and personality-less and moseyed around with a lazy demeanor. I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. read more

One of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant! Upon being sat, we waited 15 minutes until being greeted or even acknowledged by our waiter. He took our order and never returned after. Our steaks were cooked wrong, the Mac n Cheese tasted old. After waiting for our waiter to return to check on us, ask for a refill, or even acknowledge us again, he finally returned and slapped the check on the table. I asked for a box and he said he would be right back, but he never came back again! When he did he quickly grabbed the check and ran off for another 10 minutes, before returning to slap the ticket back on the table. Definitely will not be returning! read more

Its stated 15.99 next to it was an 8-oz sign nothing said anything about 6 ounce so we just assumed that was the price instead 8oz 20.99. Although for two meals a $10 difference total isn't the end of the world it's more the principal. The marketing is very misleading almost bait and switch and honestly kind of left a very sour taste. We are visiting Denver, staying at a hotel close to this restaurant. It's Friday nite but happily the restaurant is not busy. We were seated immediately and given menus. And we sat. And we sat. And we sat. No water. We sat. No greeting by the waitress. We sat. No drink order. We sat. No "I'll be with you in a minute" . We sat. The waitress gave an adjoining table their dessert which was incorrect. She took it back happily and waited until the dessert had been redone to return to the area. And we sat. And she gave them the dessert. And we sat. And finally we left. Not sure what was going on. We were the only Africa Americans there. We had masks on because we are in our 70s. I just don't know. First off our server is short, curt, and just rude from the second we sat down. I was a server at OUTBACK In longmont Co. and I am shocked this girl passed the interview let alone still has a job. Our drinks came out and then my Salad, which everything was great, as far as coming out as ordered. For my Entree I ordered the filet and lobster... what ever came out was NOT a filet. I will say this, someone from the kitchen dropped off my meal and she did come back literally seconds later (before i had even cut into Anything on my plate) and asked (and I quote) "Does everything LOOK ok?" Well... it "Looked" okay, but again I had not tasted it yet. Now for those of you whom have never had a Filet Mignon.... They are supposed to melt in your mouth. I chewed mine more than 3 minutes and it never dissolved! When I finally tracked down the server which was way longer then the two minute two bite check back. I told her it was tough, and she back talked me?!?!? She said "why didn't you tell me before when I checked back?" Well besides the fact that you didn't ... I couldn't find you. She offered to replace it but the people I was with were already finished eating because that's how long it took for u to check back. I was literally shaking when she started to argue with me. I have issues with patience especially when servers try to make it like I'm wrong... save face, admit you made a mistake and move on.. what happened to customer service? Well, the only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I'm embarrassed that I liked it. My husband was embarrassed that he liked it. Our 5-month-old son (at the time) was embarrassed that we liked it. The only person fine with it was my father. My dad wanted some steak, and somehow we ended up here. The bloomin' onion was as disgustingly delicious as you would expect it to be, and my shrimp (I know, I know, but I'm not a meat person) was great. My dad and husband loved their steaks. I have very much had it with this particular Outback. Because it's close to our house we've gone there for many years. But lately, whether its' a new and incompetent manager or whether it's getting ready to close and no one there cares anymore, the service has been awful. We order carryout from there fairly regularly, but almost every time we've ordered lately they manage to get something wrong. I stopped ordering carryout there when, a month or so ago, they left an entire part of our order off (a large order of chicken wings) -- which I had paid for via credit card on their ordering website. I called about it, and the manager said he could not just take the charge off my card; the only solution he could offer was for me to drive all the way back over there and pick up the wings. Which I was not going to do both because the rest of the meal would get cold and because I didn't want to get back in the car. So they charged me for something I didn't get. The last straw was today. I was near the restaurant and decided to treat myself to a nice lunch, and against my better judgement but again craving wings, went to this Outback. Sit-down instead of carryout. I was seated and promptly ignored by a waitress who, over the course of 15 minutes, waited on some people 2 tables away but never even looked at me, much less acknowledge my presence or bring me a glass of water. I left, mentioning the problem to the host as I walked out, although he didn't seem to care either. I went to Saltgrass, a quarter mile away, and enjoyed a lovely lunch. With good service. You'd think that with a strong competitor so close, Outback would make more of an effort. read more

Before I start this review, let me point out that I think Outback is a good restaurant with some good food. However, I visited this location the other day for the first time during lunch. I went to sit at the bar and no one greeted me. I waited for about 20 minutes and still no one even said "hi" to me. There were employees walking around so they definitely noticed me. After 25 minutes of waiting, I walked out the door and not one person said a word to me. I'm hoping that was just a fluke occurrence but that's my experience here. read more

We eat at outback quite a bit when traveling, therefore we are very familiar with their fare. We were terribly diss appointed with this location. We had the unlimited shrimp. They were out of 2 kinda of the endless shrimp- leaving one over breaded type. So- we couldn't eat anymore, than he told me the unlimited shrimp add on for my meal was $6.00, and it was actually $9.00. They didn't tell us they were out of the unlimited shrimp until after our apps & salads were done, or we would have gone somewhere else since we really both wanted lots of scampi I tried their new Piña Colada that was supposed to have a floater of fresh macerated pineapple, and a slice- it also had neither items in it.
