Really enjoyed this spot! Aside from waiting a little bit it was tasty. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and a grilled cheese with bacon and avocado, two glasses of wine and the bone broth. The bone broth was definitely the winner, it was so good and a little spicy the service was really great. Everyone was really fast and friendly. The inside was very trendy and dark, would be a cute first date spot

Don't you just love Saturday mornings? Unlike the frazzled workday mornings, I relish the weekends when I can relax & let the day just evolve. Sleep in. Check. Take your sweet time making coffee. Check. Take your sweet time drinking said coffee. Check. Take your sweet time getting ready. Check. Now what? Make breakfast or go out? Maybe grab some fresh pastries & breakfast sandwiches...? Wait. It's a beautiful day. How about a nice drive out along the great highway/ocean beach? Done! A drive out to ocean beach used to mean stopping by the Cliff House but that still isn't even close to being reopened, or "reimagined" yet. Sigh. How about Dutch pancakes? Dutch pancakes means that the first stop is Outerlands. We ordered Dutch pancakes online on the way. Easy breezy. Good thing too because there was still a line for a table even though they were closing in a half hour. The hostess was personable & sweet, despite the fact that it was packed, inside & out. We then headed to Ocean Beach to enjoy our breakfast in the sea air with an ocean view. Crispy on the outside, but custardy in the inside. Not too sweet which is a plus for me; you can always alter the sweetness by asking for extra syrup. I think next time I'll request extra powdered sugar. Don't let the wait & the line scare you away. There's nothing standing between you & a very good Dutch pancake except placing an online order. 4 stars.

Brunch at Outerlands is still solid. In fact, the only meal we've ever had at Outerlands is brunch. The smashed potatoes with salsa verde and aioli are a must order for us, and the brioche pecan sticky bun is so good. Their switch to counter ordering helps move the lines, but it also makes Outerlands feel more like a cafe than restaurant, but with a better menu. Baked goods are always good, but egg options are pretty limited for a brunch menu: just a breakfast sandwich and a rice congee with a soft egg added. (I'd personally love to see a few more egg options.) There is a chia bowl, a Dutch pancake, French toast, pastries, espresso drinks and more lunch-friendly options like salads, soup and sandwiches (including a mortadella sandwich.) Fog hangs over this neighborhood, and the beachy feel and friendly staff make it a cozy, casual brunch stop.

Chill and nice interior great for grabbing a drink and chilling with friends. Their warm sourdough with butter is so comforting. Definitely recommend their sourdough papardelle, really liked the texture of it with the pesto base sauce, pretty light overall. Their roasted chicken is really flavorful. Cant beat their warm salted chocolate cookie with lots of melted chocolate inside

Outerlands as a venue is amazing; I loved the woodwork and the whole natural vibe of the place! To top that off, the service was exemplary; our wait person was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and attentive; couldn't ask for anything more. I went specifically for the smash burger and it was great except it was more like a regular burger. I'm accustomed to having the crispy, frilly edges around a smash burger and this didn't have that. It was also a thicker burger than a "smash" burger. It was still a delicious burger, so I was okay with it. Everyone at the table except for one person ordered the burger, too, and they seemed to really enjoy it. It was pretty big, so many of us only ate half and took the other half home. One of the diners at my table ordered the broccolini for everyone to try. The wait person had said it was one of her favorite dishes and, I have to agree, it was fantastic! The only other issue I had was that they charged tax on the 5% service charge and the 5% SF Health Mandate, so I ended up paying $10 more than I should have paid. We were a large group and that little extra charge that the group members didn't pay ended up coming out of my own pocket. The tax should have been only on the food, not on the other stuff! I'll know next time!

Outerlands is a busy american food style place. What place in SF isn't ?!? Customer service is mediocre at best. Seating is chaotic, and feels like a struggle. Once seated, I opted for the daily/weekly "special" which is why I was there... the burger! Things I enjoyed. The cold ketchup. The fries weren't seasoned. Things that were a hot mess: The burger. Objects are smaller than they appear in photos. The patty was tasty, but it was really overdone, especially for a patty that was thin. The produce was okay. It's produce. The cheese pretty much ran across the burger. It's a pricey weekly "pop up" so to speak. The line is usually pretty long, and it's not fast moving.

Been wanting to return for awhile and was a bit disappointed on Valentine's Day. Surprisingly, the line wasn't long and the system changed to picking a number sign from an unseated table, order and sit back where the sign was, which, for us, was at the counter. Right in front of us was a woman making drinks and was clearly overwhelmed with the orders. We were served our smoked salmon toast and focaccia sandwich, which my daughter said was overpowered by saltiness in the pesto. We finished our meals, plates were taken away, and our drinks still didn't arrive. First, we were given the wrong order and then it took a little more while for our hot ginger lemon tea and Sunset Fog. I sensed this place was understaffed by at least two people and the brunch menu has been downgraded. Still, this lively rustic spot is clearly filled with Sunday regulars!

Stopped by Outerlands for dinner. We ordered the bread to start, which was fantastic. Very soft and pillowy, and the butter was delicious and salty. Our waiter, who was very friendly, told us that some people just order a boule of bread to go. For my main, I got the roasted chicken. This was a bit disappointing, as the meat was a bit dry. For ~$35, I expected at least a juicy, tender bird. The salad it came with wasn't bad though. If I ever do come back, I will be ordering something else, as I can easily roast a better chicken at home. Overall, a cute local spot in the outer sunset. I'll be back for the bread, but might not dine in again, at least for a while.

Got a gift card for my birthday so my bestie and I went there for early dinner at 5:00 pm when they opened. Place filled up pretty quickly but it was a sunny day in SF, so plenty of seating outside too. We decided to sit inside because I really loved the earthy wood decor. Their bread and butter was so soft, and some of the best I've ever had. Had squash for the appetizer and split the rigatoni and roasted chicken. Finished it off with their chocolate bread pudding! Shout out to Arthur, our amazing server who was super attentive and personable! I definitely want to come here and try their brunch!

This is our go to neighborhood spot. Great food, great service, great cocktails, great vibes. Don't bother going to Zuni Cafe, the roasted chicken here is better!

Dutch pancake ($20) is so special and rare. It's poufy and airy inside and crunchy on the outside. The housemade ricotta is very mild and lacks a milky flavor, and not worth the extra $2. I asked for maple syrup on the side but they just gave it to me all together - which just made some bites sweet and soggy while the other bites were just bread. I wish the syrup came on the side by default. Little gem salad $24 - we got it for the smoked salmon, which was the best part! Not too salty. But protein portion is pretty small. Scrambled egg add on was delicious and soft. The bread that comes with it is so hard and inedible. Luckily we ordered house bread toast on the side which was much better. But it was still too burnt. But can't believe the toast and butter is both a separate charge each, like I wish there was more clarification while ordering or on the menu. Overall, while ordering at the front felt pretty rushed, not very helpful, and actually rude. So I'm not sure why there's a 10% service and health charge plus the default option to tip at 20% when everything is self serve. It just overall felt like an over hyped brunch experience.

This is a great spot for a date or a casual quiet meal in the neighborhood. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. The drinks are AMAZING! They have quite a unique selection of spirits and their bartenders are expert cocktail connoisseurs. I will be back soon and often.

Outerlands is a lovely oasis of fresh baked bread and homemade soup in the Sunset District. I booked dinner reservations here for my birthday and was warmly greeted with a glass of sparkling rosé. My server was so friendly and genuine and took excellent care of me! The walls and ceiling are made from weathered wood and all the food is local and organic. Chef Landa prepares delicious, hearty, and attractive appetizers, meals and desserts. I ordered the beans and greens: bone broth, cannellini beans, kale, and grana padano cheese, served with pain au levain.. it was so good! I also enjoyed a hibiscus margarita, which was beautiful and refreshing, and took home a chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Yum! Highly recommend making a reservation, especially for brunch, as this is a very popular neighborhood restaurant and fills up fast everyday of the week.

My friend came to Aziza just a few weeks ago, and our menu was slightly different from hers. - TOMATO MELON SALAD: Best tomato salad I've ever had. Worth the $18 forsure. - GRILLED OCTOPUS: Our favorite dish of the night. Perfectly cooked. Still dreaming about the chicken wing emulsion. - MUSSELS: Served with toasted bread. Tasty, but a tad salty for our taste. - BRANZINO: Served with a big side salad, which was perfect to cut through the salt and strong flavors of our meal. The restaurant is larger than expected, with 2 dining rooms and a full bar; however, the back dining room felt cramped. Some of the tables and chairs were close to each other, and my husband had to get up multiple times to let other diners get past our table. It used to be a traditional coffee shop much like Louis' right above the Sutro Baths. However, early in 2025, French-born chef Alfred Schilling took over and put his stamp on this venerable diner. I thought it might be the ideal spot for Jamie W and me to reunite with our pal Maggie for a Saturday morning breakfast. After all, the three of us used to come here in the early naughts, so it made sense to try the revamped Parisian menu in familiar surroundings. Everything looked the same to me. The hostess was a bit on automatic pilot and seated Jamie and me at a table for two. I had to point out a third person was coming, and it seemed to upset her game plan. Maggie arrived soon after, and she went veggie and ordered the $20 Chèvre Omelet (Photo 9). Presumably inspired by the cuisine of the Loire Valley, the eggs were filled with mixed mushrooms, olives, arugula, and mild goat cheese. Tomato Provençal, herb roasted potatoes, and a crusty slice of rustic bread completed her French countryside dish. Jamie inexplicably went south of the border and ordered the $22 Mexicaine Omelet with avocado, bacon, Monterey Jack, and pico de gallo (Photo 7). Nothing French about it except the name. But it was good Cal-Mex fare. I didn't stay in France either and ventured to Italy with the $22 Florentine Benedict, a pair of poached eggs with sautéed spinach, tomato, and Parmesan atop an English muffin. Delicious food, beautiful presentation, and wonderful staff. I'd definitely come back!

Attentive and friendly service, met expectations for fine dining experience. I wasn't impressed with the drinks; I had both the Shahmaram and the Shepherds Pipes (their version of an old fashioned and a manhattan), both were fine but nothing spectacular. The food also ranged from okay to great. The baking bread was by far the best dish - a must order. The kebab was also good, nice portion size and wonderful flavor. The oysters and the melon salad were "meh"; rather small portions and nothing out of the ordinary. I wasn't a fan of the Seabass - not much flavor and contained tons of bones, would not recommend. There are several other mediterranean restaurants I'd recommend over Dalida; Kitchen Istanbul for a similar fine dining experience (much better food and slightly less expensive) and Orens Hummus for mediterranean food at affordable prices without the fine dining experience, however Dalida is worth checking out if you've never been and went to try something new (be prepared for the high prices).
