First and last time... walked in to pick up an online order I go to the bar I'm standing there for a while, multiple workers at the bar seen me but didn't acknowledge me, stood there for a little while more a Caucasian couple come after me and a lady (grey short hair) ask them if they have been helped even though I've been standing there for a while, so I literally had to say excuse me loudly to get a lady's attention she looked like she didn't want to be there hands me my meal. And didn't give me my drink so I had to go back in and same experience all over again. horrible customer service. read more

First, let me say that I was a long time supporter of the location in Arcadia -- prior to moving to the other side of town. I was excited to find the Tatum location while exploring pickup options in my area. However, I can't be more disappointed with my dish. As you can see in the photo, the avocado -- which is placed directly on top the omlette -- is brown and MOLDED!!! I just can't believe it, especially considering the times with all the extra precautions taken when preparing food, due to COVID-19. Now, I'm afraid to eat the dish itself. Hard pass! read more

I ordered mushrooms and eggs with some other vegetables but the food was just mushroom and eggs. I don't like when restaurants add garnishments in the ingredients. Service was ok and the server was rushed to get the order. No patience explaining the dishes. For the price there are a lot other places that offer better experience and service. read more

Love this place! It was mine and my boyfriends first time trying this place after watching Diners Drive-In's and Dives (we love Guys shows) lol and Chef Aaron May and knew we had to try it out! I had the chicken and waffles which was amazing, zero complaints. My chicken was perfectly crispy along with a perfectly cooked waffle. My boyfriend got the Cubano with sunny egg (which I had a bite of) and it was also AMAZING. We're looking forward to going back and trying more dishes! Restaurant decor is bright and inviting. Staff is very personable. The food itself was a huge disappointment. Chicken fried steak was tender but the coating was not crisp and lacked flavor. Gravy was also very bland and lacked consistency. Home fried were pale, limp and tasted raw. A reorder that was deep fried was much better and the helpful server was prompt to suggest it. Even the rye toast was lacking flavor as it tasted like white bread with a few caraway seeds sprinkled in. "Homemade" strawberry jam lacked sweetness and was very runny. Coffee had a sharp bitter aftertaste and I did not continue with it after the first sip. All in all, a huge disappointment for two breakfast meals that cost just shy of $30. Needless to say, I am not planning on a return visit. read more

Yum!!! We had seen this on DDD. As we are trying different brunch places each weekend we wanted to give this a try. Service was excellent. The chicken fried steak rates best of all that have been tested this far. I ordered a delicious breakfast burrito with fresh fruit that was actually fresh and tasty. First time in, super clean, super friendly staff! Menu had really nice options from indulging to healthy choices! Everything was very fresh, service was quick and very tasty! Incredible food and service!! Was visiting from NJ, which is known for having a variety of excellent food (and brunch spots in particular)...but nothing quite like this!! Would LOVE to see an Over Easy Pop up in the Garden State. Bright and cheery atmosphere and knowledgeable and enthusiastic server. Best part is that EVERYTHING at this restaurant is made from scratch- the fresh ingredients bring these creative dishes to another level. Walked here from the neighborhood - ohso was closed so we tried this place. Glad we did. Bright and cheerful interior and the staff was the same. Sat at the bar and had fresh squeezed OJ to start. Not wanting too much food we decided to split the avocado Benedict - think an avocado half topped with a poached egg with hollandaise sauce and Pico de Gallo - yum! Everything was freshly made. Just read some negative reviews about the Wolf Pack - puzzled about what they were expecting ordering that. It is a VERY LARGE breakfast signature dish - think challenge to eat it all. It could feed a family of 4 seeing it go by. You can't order that dish and then complain about it... We will return! read more

Clean, perky, happy and inviting decor. Food was great with a straight forward simple menu. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak due to the recommendations of our server and it was filling and delicious! Their coffee is great although we had to keep asking for refills, hence the 4 stars, and they were not very busy otherwise I would cut some slack. They were friendly enough when they came to table and didn't appear put out by us asking for the refills. They have a small deposit of liquor and beer on hand for those who wish to have it. They have iced coffee on tap! We didn't sample but next time we must! I will definitely be back to dig into the rest of the menu...if Guy Fieri gave it his thumbs up....it's worth a try! read more

Had breakfast with my boss today. And she had the avocado toast and I have the breakfast sandwich with ham egg and tomato on toasted sourdough very good and very plentiful I was even able to have the other half for breakfast the next day it was so big. Had a side of hashbrowns crunchy and flavored well. There are so many things to choose from it was hard to pick you can choose a digital menu versus a paper menu we did the digital and that makes it really fast. We were looking for a good spot to have breakfast, as our usual spot Cafe Otro on 7th st had a long wait. So we checked out this places page and read some reviews, looked at the pics, and decided to give it a chance. At first glance it looks like a cute little breakfast spot, we came in and were sat instantly which was nice, but we soon found out why there wasn't a wait here. Our server (Alecia D) started by raving about the fact that guy fieri has been here and how they work with the food network, which for me is already a red flag. Your food should speak for itself without you having to plug a food network celebrity. She also was talking up the orange juice, stating that it was made there in house and extremely fresh and tasty. We started with orange juice, which was not as tasty and delicious as we were made to believe. In fact, this orange juice tasted like it was made from seville oranges, which are extremely tart. So we ordered the waffle dogs and sweet potato tots to start which were AMAZING! and the only reason this place is getting some stars for us. Then I ordered the country fried steak and my husband ordered the guy fieri endorsed ham steak. The country fried steak was dry and bland along with the gravy, my hash browns were bland, the only good thing about my order was the eggs and the brioche toast. My husband described his meal as flavorless ham in goo. His hashbrowns were also bland. I would hope that with all the money this place has made by being endorsed by the food network, that they would invest in some seasoning. I've been to plenty of "Diners, Drive-in's, and Dive's" endorsed establishments, and I must say, this was THE WORST ONE. Save your money and take it to somewhere else where they actually use their palettes to create their menus. read more

We had an awesome breakfast and service a few days ago, but today we had a good meal but bad service. Our waiter, Justice, was in a rush from the moment we got there until we left. What topped it off was him adding a 20% tip to our check without our consent. If we hadn't been late for our appointment we would have spoken with his manager. read more

What a great find for a fulfilling meal. There were great selections for traditional and healthy delicious meals. I personally love the protein power bowl. Hard to beat. But I really recommend you request Dylan (Dillon) as a server. We have had him twice now and I can unequivocally say he is absolutely one of the best servers we have ever had In any restaurant. This is a darling diner with the sweetest and best wait staff. The food is delicious and the menu varied. If I want something sweet or savory or light I can find it. The yellow and blue decor is fresh and the place spotless. The girls who wait on me remember my usual order even tho I come in sporadically. Love their quinoa protein pancakes. Interesting and fabulous biscuits and gravy if you like a little spice. I was shockingly surprised at how yummy these were. The eggs Benedict were good as well. Maybe not the best but still good. Their banana French toast I am iffy on though. The French toast itself is great but the Carmel syrup does almost give it an overly sweet or shall I saw a false or processed taste. It tasted like the Carmel sauce you would buy at the store in a jar that's cheap and nothing to offset it which just makes it far too sweet and far to much of the artificial taste for my liking. On the flip side unused the Carmel sauce in coffee that week as I couldn't eat it on the French toast more then a couple bites and it was fabulous in my coffee so it didn't go to waste. I will return for the biscuits and gravy and maybe try the lemon curd cakes instead of French toast. Overall it's a place worth trying and returning to for sure. The people working there are extremely nice and they do make the best bisque ya and gravy I have had yet as the pepper adds a unique spice that works beautifully to tweak a basic dish into something special.
