Food was delicious. Atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly. A lot of options on the menu. More "regular" food like burgers and pizza but a lot of fancier versions and dishes as well. Their bruschetta was amazing, I would come back just for that. I had the "Downtowner" which was a turkey pesto sandwich. Sweet potato fries were on point. Not a huge fan of the sriracha ketchup but thats ok. Hubs had the "Beef on Whetzel" which was a roast beef sandwich au jus on a pretzel bun. read more

NO PLACE TO WAIT! This restaurant does not take reservations; so, if you get there and there is a wait for your table, there is no place inside to wait. There was, but the restaurant took the room-long bench on one side of the entry area where the maitre d's stand is located and filled it up with knick-knacks so you can no longer sit there. So what do you do if you're a patron with a serious disability like me, severe COPD, and unable to stand and wait outside in the heat? You move knick-knacks and sit down anyway despite protests. The lack of any area to sit and wait inside is probably a violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act and needs to be fixed! John L. read more

OTF is our go to sports bar type place. First beer. They usually have a nice IPA draft selection and something from White Street Brewing. Food.....i love the cornmeal chicken tenders. Simple but crispy and good. Wings are solid. Wife always gets aloha which is one of the solid sandwich selection. I love the table rock French dip. Get the onions and mushrooms. I was here visiting my parents, from CA, I had lunch here with my Mom. I thought the food here was really good. I got the turkey sandwich on focaccia. It was good, thought the bread could use some more herby/salty ness. It was a really nice texture tho. Homemade chips were yum. Staff was super nice, looked like they had a nice bar. I got a chuckle when the waitress said the chicken avocado salad was "very avocado forward", being a Californian. Would definitely eat here again. read more

Amazing food! My husband and I, along with my son, his wife and their three children had dinner here this evening. Everyone's food was wonderful, service was very good and fast. Me and the wife ventured out to Wake forest and this was well worth the drive . Started with mozzarella stick appetizer which was really good ..cooked perfect, not greasy and the cheese was melted perfectly . We both had the beef on weckzel, which was fantastic. The beef was like butter , and had a good fresh taste to it ...got provolone on it but didn't need it . The fries were awesome as well. Our server Brian was also good , fast and very efficient. My friends and I met here for lunch on a Saturday around 1130am. We were seated right away. The restaurant is cozy and very comfortable- a warm and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely family friendly! This is a staple in our hometown of Wake Forest- There is something for everyone. Pizza, salads, wings, burgers, sandwiches and it's unique and very tasty. Perfect place to grab lunch or a casual dinner. Staff has always been very friendly, cocktails delicious. One of my favorites is the Veggie Quesadilla (add extra Jalepenos )I also love the sweet potato fries. Lived in WF for over 20 years. Always loved this restaurant. But today - went at 5:45 with my friend from out of town. There was 30 minute wait for a table which is fine. But what was isn't at all okay is that we could not go get a cocktail INSIDE while waiting. No joke. It was 106 outside and we were told we had to wait outside. I don't have a suggestion for a solution. I just know this is a ludicrous option. Maybe just say no. We can't handle anymore this evening. But not this. What a wonderful surprise in a small strip mall in downtown Wake Forest! The front isn't fancy so it may be easy to miss if you are not looking for it. The interior is cozy yet spacious. Good service and nice selection of food. My family and went during the morning for brunch and we loved the choices! We all got mini waffles with our meals. They are more dense than what we were expecting, definitely not fluffy and light. Other than that, we enjoyed our experience here and will come back again. read more
