This is a hotpot restaurant however serving dim sum in the morning. The seating area is spacious and usually doesn't need to wait, which I really like compared to other Chinese dim sum restaurants. Weekdays they have a special price that all sizes at $4.98, which is very reasonable price, the quality is good too. It would be a solid 4star if not for last time all steamed dim sums were extremely salty, food quality is not stable .

Very authentic Chaoshan beef hot pot, the service is great! The dishes are exquisite.

    * I am a Xiao Long Bao (XLB) enthusiast, so I had their XLB and Spinach & scallop steamed dumplings only. XLB is not their signature item. Thus my review is quite limited. I learned that this relatively new hot pot place serves dim sum during the day (good call!) and that it has XLB. I frequent the T&T Warden location, so why not. I must come and try their XLB! I did some research beforehand, and one Youtube video recommended the spinach & scallop steamed dumpling (transparent skin). So I got this spinach dumpling also. Well, the XLB was ok but found it had a lot of vegetable profile in taste (like Chinese cabbage?). Wanted more soup inside. I thought I would prefer to have this as pan-fried. The good thing was there was no leak of soup, which may be an indicator of good steaming skill. The spinach and scallop dumpling - was good. Considering their affordable price, they are doing the best they can. The skin was very good, with perfect thickness?/thinness? and the texture was nicely chewy and soft.

They have hot pot and set menus here. Fairly new restaurant so we came by for Chinese food few weeks back. We got a set menu and i only remembered to take a picture of the food after a few plates were emptied lol. Our meal was tasty especially enjoyed their salted egg yolk lobster dish. Lots of space at this restaurant and private dining rooms are available as well.

Went to have Dim Sum with my parents and Aunt who are all Seniors. A Sunday outing. The service was good. Food delicious. Mango Mouse was shaped like a Gold Fish was quite unique and tasty. I would recommend.

Came here for a midweek dim sum lunch with family. Great value and VERY good dim sum. They had a promotion going for dim sum-- all sizes were the same price for $4.88 CAD! Selection and quality of dim sum was above average with some less common dishes. Everything was good except for the XLB. Skin was too thick and it reminded me of a regular dumpling rather than a XLB. Classy and modernized Chinese tea house aesthetics for decor, space was great for both small and big groups; they had rooms as well for larger groups. Service was very attentive and everyone was friendly or cracked jokes. Bathrooms were decent too. Will definitely come again and try the hot pot at night.

Second time here for their morning dim sum special, and it was okay. The food was good for the most part, but it upset my tummy. Perhaps it was too oily for the morning. Most dishes were $4.88 except for XL and SP ones. We had a toddler with us, and the only accommodation they offered was a high chair. The high chair didn't reach the table, so it made dining difficult. They also didn't have a place setting for the toddler. The table was only set up for the adults. Service was okay. They made a few errors, so always check your order slip and bill.

This review is for their dimsum services they offer for the morning and early afternoon. At the time of writing (Oct 18) there is a promotion going on where S, M, & L dishes are all 4.8$. The food was good. We came at a busy time so the wait for a table was around 30min for 2, and we waited for 20th before the first dish came. But when the food came it was quite hot, so it was likely fresh out the steamer. The portion sizes are quite big. The siu mai and har gow were quite good and there was a lot of filling. I dont recommend the Shanghai xiao long Bao. The skin was thick and the filling isn't the most traditional. The highlight would probably be the dessert dimsum. The fried milk jello was delicious, they served a lot (6) and they had a hint of coconut mixed in. We also had the ginger and coco milk layered cake. Usually it's steamed but they served it pan fried. It was good nonetheless, the ginger flavor wasn't overpowering and the chewiness was just right that it doesn't stick to your teeth. If you don't mind the wait I would recommend this place for an early morning dimsum run.

Taste is good and fresh. If the restaurant can offer thicker cut beef, that will be great

Despite seated near the door, it was well insulated and I never felt cold. The seating is still bar-like, with metal chairs over something more comfortable. The menu offers both HK-style cafe dishes and western seafood-oriented dishes. Staff appears to understand limited Chinese, and they double checked what our group ordered for drinks. I decided to go for the baked seafood spaghetti with cold Dutch tea (both hot and cold drinks are at the same price!). The presentation was a bit messy but flavourful. I wish the staff gave extra plate for me to place the empty oyster and clam shell rather than pushing them to the edge of my plate. The staff never gave us any water until we asked. The good thing is, they never rushed us to pay and our group chatted for a long time. Price wise, it was excellent. Service wise, could be improved.

He didn't know the flavour differences in each of the sauces for the boil. Seems like you just have to know what you want and order it. They seemed short staffed there. Getting anyone's attention was difficult. We got a pound of the shrimp and a pound of clams. Nothing to rave about. Not amazing but not horrible. The sauce seemed one dimensional and flat. For this type of meal, I want a flavour explosion but Good Catch fell short. Not sure if this is the place I'd hit again if I wanted a mean seafood boil.

Amy, one of the servers/managers, handled the situation so professionally. Even though it was already last call and the kitchen was closing, she was able to have the correct dish remade for us. She sincerely apologized for the mistake and even gave us a complimentary plum drink along with some butter cranberry cookies. Amy provided exceptional customer service and was absolutely awesome throughout the experience. Despite the long wait, the food and service made it worth it. What size should I buy for two? What is the best one for simple steaming? Where is what I am looking for? What is the difference among these different tanks? A gentleman who was working here caught me and answered all these questions, and located a perfect size, super lively lobster suitable for steaming! He was knowledgeable about different cooking options, and as soon as he knows we are Japanese, he showed me different sashimi grade seafood and handling tips. We bought - A live lobster (1.5lb) about $30 - 6 sashimi grade shrimps $ less than 10 He was so kind to make sure all the shrimps are the same size. Sashimi was beautiful, fresh and naturally sweet, melt on the tongue. I deep-fried the shrimp head and tail as the gentleman suggested - crispy, thin! And lobster was full of meat, juicy and perfect size for two of us. Full! Yum!! Cant wait to go back again!!!!

The nut topping on the fish added a really nice crunch, contrasting beautifully with the soft, tender flesh of the fish. And then there was the duck: the clear standout of the night. It was beautifully cooked and seasoned. The fat kept it incredibly juicy without feeling greasy. The charred cabbage on the side added a subtle smokiness that tied everything together perfectly. Every bite honestly made me happier and happier. Getting to the restaurant was a little confusing at first, but once you're there, it's absolutely worth it. The green onion blends well flavour-wise and was not over-powering! Something to note is that this place is definitely understaffed, with only 2 people working the floor. My friends and I had waited a decent amount of time (~15-20min) despite there being empty tables as 4-5 groups of tables left after we arrived, and the tables had been cleared and wiped down and set. We had been at the top of the waitlist, and unfortunately we were heavily discounted that another group that arrived later than us had gotten seated before us and another couple who had already been waiting a while (maybe because they had a larger party?). At the end of the meal, we had to ask for the bill and takeout containers twice because they forgot the first time, and therefore spent 10-15 minutes waiting/trying to get a waiter's attention.
