The aesthetic of this place is very nice. Great for date night or gno. Our server was so kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. We went for Restaurant Week and got the hamachi starter, surf and turf dinner and a dessert for $70. It was all delicious! Will be back.

Amazing vibes and ambiance with delicious sushi and even tastier drinks! if you're ever in San Francisco in downtown Fidi or Embarcadero try Ozumo you won't be disappointed.

Pretty good sushi spot! The scallop roll we ordered was not good though, everything else was pretty solid though. I really enjoyed the poke tower, hamachi appetizer, crispy rice appetizer, salmon avocado, negitoro, tekka mango. Fish was quality was really fresh and good. Pricey spot but what spot isn't in SF nowadays. The price justifies the I'd go back though and maybe try the preset menu, my friend got it and it looked like a great deal. The service was kinda meh, they took really long to take our orders and seemed to neglect us a bit. I liked the upscale and loungey vibe of the spot. I'd probably come back!

Ozumo is a great spot for a business happy hour or dinner. They have the bar up front and more restaurant-style seating in the back of the restaurant. Conveniently located in the embarcadero. Appetizers and sushi rolls were all fresh. We had the following: - chicken kaarage - garlic edamame - agedashi tofu - miso cod - hamachi appetizer - eggplant Restaurant is nice and modern and service was really nice.

The chirashi bowl was delicious, it is nicely made with fresh sashimi, shrimp and lumps of crab. It is just enough for a quick meal. They have a lot of food choices. The service was excellent. The place is beautiful and the bar is very clean and open. I recommend visiting this place if you want a relaxing experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but the sheer lack of effort put into this meal compelled me to warn others. Calling what we were served "soup" is an insult to the concept of cooking. It was essentially warm, unseasoned water with a single, sad piece of seaweed floating in it. My dining partner and I had to use the table's soy sauce just to give the broth a basic level of seasoning and edibility. To make matters worse, two orders of ribeye shabu came with 8 pieces of meat. For what they are charging, the value is honestly shocking. I could easily recreate this exact "culinary experience" at home using random leftover meat, vegetable scraps, and a pot of plain boiling water. I have had bad food before, but bad food usually implies that a chef at least tried to cook and made a mistake. This meal lacked any semblance of effort or care. It is, without a doubt, the most profoundly disappointing dining experience I can recall. Save your money, stay home, and boil some water--you will accidentally make something better.

We were here with a large group of 20 people and we had an enjoyable evening, but a couple of the dishes didn't live up to expectations however. The niku maki (wagyu with spinach) wasn't a favourite - I found the spinach to be overpowering. The black cod dish, which was sold to us as 'what they are known for' wasn't great. We ordered two of them and the dishes looked very different to each other, one of the cods was much more charred than the other. The sauce for both looked different too, which was interesting. But we did love the dohyo (spicy tuna tartare), the glazed edamame had an amazing smell to it and tasted just as good. The fried chicken was also a winner. The service was excellent for such a big group at a busy time and we didn't spend any time waiting around. We would come back, but would probably try some of the other dishes.

Went here on Tuesday for the first time and it was very good. It was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. Our reservation was at 7 and almost all the tables and seats at the bar were taken. We stayed there for almost 2 hours and after 8 it started to clear out. When I say it was busy I had to raise my voice just to talk to the person right next to me. We got a table in the very back where you could see the Bay Bridge and the piers. We ordered multiple things off the menu. Our favorites were the unagi (eel) sashimi, the wagyu roll and the tuna cones. Least favorites were the Buritori Nigiri (yellowtail belly) and the crispy rice. I ordered the crispy rice because I seen other people on here ordered it but to me it was just hard rice with warm tuna tartare Overall it was a good meal and good atmosphere but most of the items on here you can get at any sushi restaurant for half the price and it's just as good. It was $14 for 2 pieces of sushi when you can get a whole roll for $16. I love sushi but there's a point where it can only be so good. I think the bill came out to be about $190 for 2 people. We were full by the end of the meal but we had to keep ordering more to get there. I would probably come back for happy hour if I'm in the area and craving sushi

Came here with my friend for lunch on a Monday and got seated right away. We each ordered the ume nigiri assortment and a scallop roll to share. The nigiri were all good but the scallop roll was the star of the show. Scallop and avocado were both buttery and melt in your mouth. Service took a while since they forgot we ordered the scallop roll after serving us the nigiri. Prices are what you would expect. If you are in the area and craving Japanese sushi, this is a good spot. A lot of business folks come here to eat since it's quiet and a nice restaurant located by the water.

Lobster roll is delicious, and the scallops are divine. The hotate rolls were very on point. The vibe is lovely and the service was unmatched. This place has been here for over 20 years and it does not disappoint. We got a seat right away but the place was packed so we got lucky. I would make reservations if you can.

we tried the sushi tasting and it was okay, but I'm not a huge fish fan so maybe I should've not ordered that. Some were better than the other but the hand roll was very good so I would order that by itself again! we also had cocktails and they were so good! overall I think it was good and the restaurant was pretty but I don't think I would go again.

Ryan served us at the bar and he was fabulous he came through with the recommendations. Let me tell you about the Kani korokke which was a star it was this little perfectly fried breaded ball filled with crab meat and a few kernels of corn. Then the hand rolls both the ebi tempura and the spicy toro were amazing the dumplings huh I could do without. Get the spicy Tokyo Vice we were stuffed m. Ryan was so on it and assisted with recommendations and made sure to check on us frequently. That all day happy hour on Fridays is something to definitely check into.

Came to ozumo for lunch on a Monday with coworkers. Was not crowded and we were seated instantly. Service was very attentive. We got a few rolls to share as well as a bunch of nigiri. I thought the nigiri was very good, fish was very fresh. Sushi rolls were good too, nothing crazy. My favorites were the salmon trio (nigiri) and the ozumo roll. In my opinion the rolls were a bit too expensive for the quality, but still very good. Would eat here again!

The quality is always on point (you get what you pay for) and the process is easy to preorder. The main thing to plan for is the long wait in line to pick up your preorder. In prior years, I've usually picked up on Christmas Eve and the wait can exceed 90 mins to 2 hours depending on when you arrive - this is the case even when you doorbust at opening time. This year, we picked up on the 23rd and arrived around opening time, and it only took 30 minutes. There are also very high quality pantry goods to peruse and purchase, including pasta, mustards, spices, tinned goods, etc. Onto the meat: I preordered late this year so got 21 day aged prime rib roast (would usually aim for 45+ days), but honestly it was hard to tell the difference. I ordered the roast pre seasoned, cradled and tied for ease and it was very high quality, easy to cook and delicious. Shoutout to the very friendly and hardworking staff at Olivier's - I see yall fighting for your lives trying to control that line every year (lol). Thank you for your service!

The atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for and I loved it. Our waiter was amazing -- super attentive throughout the entire night and made sure we were taken care of. We started with the Caesar salad, and I have to say probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had. Seriously, it was that good. Then came the viral Butcher's Board, which says it serves 3+ people, but we had to order it. And it absolutely did not disappoint! It came loaded with prime ribeye, filet mignon, rack of lamb, crispy calamari, lobster truffle mac & cheese, butcher's potatoes, creamy octopus, mushrooms, and toasted ciabatta. Everything was so on point. Every bite was delicious and the board was definitely the star of the meal. The drinks were good, but I wouldn't say they were the highlight. We started with an espresso martini made with mezcal instead of vodka. I was intrigued, so of course I had to try it. It was good, but I'm still a fan of the traditional espresso martini. We also had a Lavender Lemon Drop, along with two signature cocktails, The Castro and Lavencine. The Lavencine was easily the best drink of the night. Overall, this was one of the best dinners I've had in a while. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and definitely a place I'll be coming back to. We came to the Palm Court at RH San Francisco for a special treat for our wedding anniversary…read more Let's talk about the atmosphere and ambiance for a little bit. Coming in, you'll see the unique structure that RH is located in. This is very obvious as this building stands out within the neighborhood of warehouses. The neighborhood doesn't feel like it's located in the best parts of San Francisco. Keeping that in mind once you are inside, it makes you feel like you have time traveled back to a house within the Roman period. With a small water fountain in the front, it showcases the aspirations of where RH wants its customers to feel when owning one of their products. With the basement and third floor being RH product based, down the hallway is where the restaurant was located. It can be tricky if the attendants weren't around but they quickly pointed us toward the right direction to where the restaurant is located. Since we were here for dinner on a reservation, they seated us fairly quickly. There were palm trees that's very visible from inside the restaurant which gave you the feeling that you're in an indoor outdoor space. The seating I gotta tell ya, it's an extremely unique experience. There's literally a fountain in the middle of the restaurant and unlike most restaurants where seating are in some type of order, the seats are set where it surrounds the palm trees throughout. Ok, enough of how cool this place looks, here's what we got: 1. Prosciutto & Delice Board - (4 out of 5) The board came how you would expect. The bread paired with the cheese were delicious, same with the deli meat and grapes. I did feel it was slightly underwhelming given how much bread it had. This dish seems to be made for a larger group in general then it was for us, a family of three. I would have much preferred a slightly smaller loaf and more add-ons to the board. 2. Mini Lobster Rolls with Caviar - (4 out of 5) The caviar they've placed on top of the lobster rolls were handsome in portion. The size of the mini lobster rolls though are really small. I know, it says "mini" on the menu but seriously, it is really really tiny. The lobster itself tasted fresh rightfully seasoned with the buttered and toasted bread, yum! 3. Grilled Asparagus - (5 out of 5) Nothing to see here, they tasted fine lol. 4. Honey Glazed Salmon - (5 out of 5) From the appearance, it looks like the honey glazed salmon is burnt. However, once you cut into them and give it a bite, it is well seasoned and is extremely soft. The tenderness of the salmon tells me that they have master this dish down to a tee. Combined with a small portion of mash potatoes, a definite must try for any salmon fans. 5. Sweet Potato Fries - (4 out of 5) Sweet potato fries, I mean who can resist them at a restaurant like this? Yum! 6. Whole Grilled Branzino - (5 out of 5) The branzino was cooked in a similar fashion like the salmon. With the right amount of olive oil mixed in, the taste is as tender as ever while not being too strong in its seasoning. 7. Caramelized Banana Split - (5 out of 5) The caramel sugar on top of the banana is similar to what you would expect in the same fashion where a creme brulee would have it. Combined with the three scoops of vanilla ice cream is hard to resist at the end of our meal. 8. Service - (5 out of 5) Our waiter was top notch. He came around often and was friendly to chat with. My wife has a tendency to drink a lot of liquids during a meal and most of the times we had to flag people down in other restaurants on refills, not our waiter here! I think he kept coming back so much to fill her water that she had to tell him that she's good lol! My overall experience inside the Palm Court at RH has been excellent. You can tell RH has invested heavily to showcase why their stuff cost the way it does and this transforms to the restaurant as well. If you ask me what type of restaurant I would place the Palm Court at, I would say I categorize it as a place where the wealthy congregate for a nice brunch. It's not formal dining nor is it casual, it sits right in the middle as a restaurant with style. If you enjoy architecture and ambiance, this is not one to miss. The food is great but the menu can definite expand in my opinion. Give it a shot the next time you're close by, chances are you'll probably experience something more than you have imagined. At least that's what it was for us lol.

Definitely crispy but I would say it's about 1/4 of a regular sized artichoke but maybe they're using an artisan artichoke or something. It was fine, reminded me a bit of crispy Brussels sprouts chips but better. Shrimp cocktail: a table favorite, shrimp was good and tasted fresh. plenty of horseradish for the radish-heads. Prosciutto board: definitely a board! You pick at it, you eat from it. Its not a wow and I think for the price I could make one triple the size at Costco (or any grocery store) but remember! You're here for the ambiance. Steak frites: when the steak came out I had to hold back a laughter. I didn't look up a photo beforehand but man, was this the tiniest pricest steak I've ever seen. I think I could take it in two bites if needed. It felt like the seen of "perhaps a salad for the lady?" except this size is served to all customers regardless of gender. It was cooked to perfection and the peppercorn sauce was yummy. The fries were eh fine, I've had better but the star of the dish was tinnie tiny Chilean Sea Bass: I love a good sea bass and I've had my fair share. My ultimate restaurant favorite so far is R&G lounge and so when I saw the price tag on the menu, I wasn't too worried but it came out. Eyes were pre-popped out from the steak fried size but I think the sea bass also took a hit from the shrink gun! the shrink gun must've also been HOT since the fish was dry and quite tough. Chocolate chip cookie: it was super yummy. Crispy outside, gooey inside and so yummy I'm thinking of it right now. Raspberry sorbet: a little TOUGH like it's been too far back in the freezer a bit however perfect with the cookie. Creme brulee: I typically don't like creme brulee but I liked it a lot! Silky, creamy, yummy.

Great energy and vibrant music, but dialed in at a volume where everyone at the table could easily talk and connect without shouting. Easily a 5-star night. We will definitely be back.

I had a flight of their amaros and loved them all, followed by some excellent cocktails that highlighted their products. Dinner menu is designed for sharing/family style. Everything was delicious and creative. We started with their crispy chicken skins, a bitter lettuce ceasar, octopus salad, and their duck confit with a surprising corn couscous. Our server was excellent, with full knowledge of their spirits and lots of guidance for tasting. Loved the bright comfortable dining room, with a bit of vintage flair.

Very much appreciated that accommodation. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and tasted even better. There was a special with homemade focaccia, ricotta, pesto, and eggplant + tomato tapenade. I could have eaten a bowl of every ingredient individually, and together they were even better than the sum of the parts. We also had the curry chicken croquettes, citrus caesar, confit octopus, and gnocchi - all fantastic. And the drinks - next level. I had the Sam Fernando and it was dangerously drinkable, I had to order a second. My partner's Bird of Paradise bamboozled us with its clarified coconut milk - so wild to drink something CLEAR that tasted so much like a piña colada! Our other two party members had NA drinks that were also nuanced and delicious. I will very eagerly come back whenever I have the opportunity!

I loved the decor all around the restaurant with adorable cow art and a very clean feel. The servers and hosts were coming over to chat with us and just made us feel so welcome and special. From the second you walk in until the second you leave you are in good hands. It's also right across from the train so it's super easy to get there! I don't normally like horseradish, but the burger came with the perfect amount of horseradish where it tasted very fresh and added a good burst of flavor without being overwhelming! The fries were delicious and crispy. 10 out of 10 food, service, and environment. I would give them more stars if I could.

A charming little bistro inspired by the Marlowe cows, I'm assuming, managed to stun us with several memorable dishes. The warm deviled eggs were an excellent start. Savory yet delicate enough to not weigh us down right at the beginning of our meal. The horseradish aioli wasn't for me, but I can see its appeal for a certain audience. You give me a Calabrian chili sauce and it's guaranteed to make me happy and this shrimp with sweet corn was no exception. Again, light but a punchy flavor that was enjoyable. I could go on and on about the different dishes we tried but the real standout of the night was the pork tenderloin with chorizo and peaches. The sweetness from the peaches somehow managed to enhance the flavor of the chorizo. This dish gives you a bold, savory and sweet bite all together but still won't have you feeling super heavy. The portion size is perfect. Im hoping to return soon for another exquisite meal.

I wanted to take her to one more nice place before heading back home. Chef Tyler Florence's Miller & Lux next to the Chase Center in Mission Bay seemed like the best option. Parking was a bit challenging, as the spots across the street from Miller & Lux were five minute passenger loading only after 6pm. So I had to park in the stadium garage, which took about 10 minutes to find a spot and walk all the way back to the restaurant. From the moment we were escorted upstairs from the bar area, the service was top notch. Very congenial and accommodating. More importantly, my mom felt well-taken care of by the staff. They gave us our choice of a central booth or smaller table next to the expansive window overlooking Mission Bay. As we are both light eaters, we decided to share an order of the Filet Mignon and Tableside Caesar. After the soufflé-like bread puff and butter appetizer, the salad specialist rolled up his cart next to our table. He got busy mixing together mustard, Worcestershire sauce, shaved Parmesan, and several other ingredients then tossed it with neatly trimmed lettuce. Finally, he topped each salad with candied Meyer lemon, more shaved Parmesan, thin croutons and plump anchovies. There was also lemon zest dashed around the rim of the plate. I ate each leaf while instead of cutting it. Seemed easier that way. It had a nice balanced taste and was one of the better Caesar salads that I've had. The Filet Mignon was a bit rarer than the medium rare we requested. It had almost an Akami tuna like texture inside, which is not what you'd expect from beef. Possibly some aging broke it down to make it that smooth. They were very accommodating to take it back and fire it on the grill a little longer. It came back with the perfect amount of doneness. The horseradish sauce we added gave each bite a nice cream and spicy kick. We had an ode to the now extinct Orange Julius' signature flavor, orange and cream in the form of a soft serve sundae topped with a sugary macaroon and tart tangerines. It definitely brought back some memories. Thanks to the staff for making dinner for me and my mom a pleasant and enjoyable experience with their hospitality. For an upscale steakhouse and seafood establishment with exceptional service, Miller & Lux is a great option in the City.

We were greeted by the sommelier who opened up the wine bottle we brought and also made some recommendations. She also brought over the champagne cart and I started the evening with a glass of the Collet Brut which was crisp and refreshing. A perfect palate cleanser to start off with the appetizers. The complimentary pop over is still one of the most delicious treats ever! It was brought over with a classic butter and a flavored butter that were just to die for. Now of course, the caesar salad is still a must here!! Prepared tableside this is part show, part experience, and full flavor bomb. I love watching the dressing come together and the freshness of every ingredient being used. Just the aroma of the olive oil and parmesan cheese is amazing. The Caesar salad was dressed to perfection and perfectly crisp! Also got the oysters, because they were an absolute knock out the last time we were here. And still one of the best! It is quite literally the cleanest and freshest oyster I've ever had. Our waitress did an amazing job of explaining the whole menu in great detail. For dinner entree, we went with the ribeye, served with bone marrow to split between 2 with a side of the mac & cheese and accompanied with creamed horseradish to give the steak an extra kick. To be honest, that steak needs nothing extra. It is "melt in your mouth" tender and extremely flavor. I love the addition of the bone marrow because it enhances the richness of the steak. The mac & cheese is also very indulgent and rich. We were way too full for dessert so we went with a ball of the espresso gelato and were given complimentary carrot cake bites which were soooo gooodddd. I wish I wasn't full because they're pastry chef is the best! Hands down the place for a 5-star lux dining experience!
