Stopped to get gas and pressed regular like I usually do and noticed the price was charging me the…read morepremium price . After I pumped I printed out a receipt which said premium but I pressed regular . Told the guy at the cashier and he did it was a sensitive pump and that the hose could have hit the premium button , no way because it didn't start pumping until I hit the regular button. I wonder how many other people are being ripped off like I did. Guy at the cashier register was rude and gave such a lame excuse, middle aged Asian guy . Lost my business. Should be a zero rating .

Once again the owner addressed everything I needed and again I paid less than I have in any visit from the past 3 years at the car dealership I purchased her from(got her brand new). For context, I have a 2016 Toyota that I got at a Toyota dealership. I have kept up with all my maintenance at the dealership I purchased her from aside from 3 times from personal connections. All those visits were trash (unfortunately including the 3 from connections). I was overcharged and my car ended up having those parts break in a few months. I came here by accident 6 months ago and I am back getting everything my girl needs done. Why? Well the owner has addressed every issue, explained what he was doing, how much each item cost (while verifying it in front of me) and has told me everything I need vs the things I could wait on. I work 1:1 with customers everyday in a trade position that I am passionate about. I approach my job in the same way. I am honest with my clients and tell them every price breakdown because I hate surprises and I like knowing what I am getting myself into. I appreciate that he has so much care for his craft that he breaks everything down for me without me asking. He wants to make sure you are aware and comfortable. The owner went over his closing time for me and I didn't ask him to, he just wanted to provide a good service and do what he could do I didn't have to come back for a while. I am so grateful I found this place. A place that cares about creating trust with their clients. I hope the owner doesn't ever forget me because I can see him being successful and busy soon! So glad to find a place, especially as a woman, where I can feel comfortable and at peace getting my car maintenance done.

The manager (Robert?) provided a loaner vehicle during the duration of that repair, which was appreciated. Less was great at communicating throughout the repair, and got Service to quickly address a concern I had the same day the vehicle was back from the body work despite a packed appointment schedule.

He told me he'd leave a note for them to call by the end of the day. No call. Pretty standard experience at Beyer now. I never heard back. I went to Dulles Kia - they got me in same day with a covered rental. They told me I shouldn't really wait on the situation and I had my car back in two days. The required part was covered under warranty. Save yourself the trouble. Try somewhere else.

The following day after I picked my car, the car began making unusual noises, which worsened by the next day. When I returned to report the issue, staff brushed it off and told me to bring the car back several days later. Concerned, I took my vehicle to a different shop the same day. There, I was informed that one lug nut was completely missing and one of the newly installed tires was so loose it was a miracle I hadn't been in an accident. This is not a minor oversight--this was a serious safety hazard. When I informed Robbie of these findings, instead of offering an apology or accountability, he suggested that someone had tried to "steal my tire." The timing and circumstances speak for themselves: the issue began immediately after their service. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I strongly caution others to think carefully before trusting them with their vehicle. A mistake of this magnitude puts lives at risk.

Time for a feel good great service story…read more This past Saturday I had a routine oil change at Valvoline in Alexandria. Upon leaving their facility I accepted a Lyft rider to Manassas. While cruising down I-66 the check engine light appeared on the dashboard. Upon completing the ride, I attempted to call the Alexandria Valvoline- couldn't even get a ring. Penny called, asked to speak to their manager..... nobody picked up. At this point I'm driving winding rural Virginia roads in a full blown panic. Penny then called the Fairfax location and spoke with their manager, Anna. They told me to bring the car into Fairfax ASAP. Within 15 minutes I was at the Fairfax Valvoline. Despite being the fourth car in line, Anna greeted me with the diagnostic sensor remote. After a quick read, it was the catalytic converter which trigged the check engine light. This was a first for my car. She then reset the dashboard. Upon her recommendation, I went next door to Meinecke. The manager there gave me a full blown lesson on catalytic converters and said it was quite possible the oxygen sensors 'got lazy' and gave a false read. Regardless, the current result is the probable false alarm from the dashboard and does not affect the performance of my car. If the light does reappear, the kind gentleman at Meinecke will do a more thorough analysis. Ultimately, it's great to have Penny come through in the clutch and Anna following through on a promise to take care of my car so efficiently in their shop, even though they did not initially service my car!! 5 Star Service!
