So, Christmas Eve... - Pre-order at 3:30PM for 7:00PM curbside - Arrive 6:55PM - total zoo in parking lot, nobody directing traffic, no curbside spots available. Line of 6-10 waiting cars on each side of parking lot. - I called @ 7:10PM to see if I cold come in to pickup order - was told they were running 30 minutes behind - Call again @ 8:00PM to check on order - person who picked up phone stated, "I don't work pick-up, can I put you on brief hold." 20 minutes on hold. I hung up. - 8:20PM pulled into Curbside spot and dialed curbside phone number. Message stated, "no one available to pick up phone, please leave message" - 8:30PM - walk inside to cancel order and I would appreciate a call from manager confirming credit back to CC. Was told, "no problem someone will call tonight" - 8:45PM - arrive home with no dinner for family of 4 - 8:46PM get call from person at PF Chang's telling me "my order is ready." Are you F'ing kidding me? - No call from manager Realize Christmas Eve can get a bit crazy, but WOW....this was a complete CLUSTER F&CK! UNBELIEVABLE INCOMPETENT! Christmas eve day at 1 pm I ordered a meal online for me and guests to be picked up at 6 pm.... I arrived a few minutes early (just leaving the supermarket with groceries in my car-good thing it was cool outside). Checked in and was informed my order would be out in about 15 minutes. I waited a half hr only to go back into the overcrowded (NO ONE WAS SOCIAL DISTANCING) "pick up area" the manager took my name and asked I to wait outside it would be another 1/2 hr... and so did.... another 40 minutes passed. PEOPLE ARE REALLY UPSet in this OVERCROWDED area. ONLY TO be told it would be another hour. IN THE MEANTIME EVERY SEAT IN THE RESTAURANT - if YOU DINED IN ---- was turned over TWICE ... including a 12 top twice served while I waited over 2 hours and was expected to wait another hour because the MY ORDER was never turned in!! WHAT WASTE OF MY PRECIOUS TIME ON A HOLIDAY. THIS MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED -- IT WAS CRYSTAL CLEAR they were accommodating in-house service before the online service.... For June 24th I made a reservation for a friend's birthday. We are lifelong friends and were excited to be celebrating their birthday at PF Chang's for a 'change of pace'. I had been to PF Chang's several times in the past and always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. On this particular night I ended up being extremely disappointed not with the food but with the service. While others seemed to be getting served in timely fashion, we waited patiently not only for a table but once seated for the server to come over. Believe his name was Kyle, while pleasant at first he very quickly told us after we ordered our drinks that he would be getting a large table and we probably need to order. Ok, so can we at least look at the menu for a bit and drink a sip of water? We ordered an appetizer, and he quickly came back asking what we wanted to order. Again, the reservation clearly stated we were celebrating a birthday and the person who seated us asked us what or if we were celebrating anything special and told them as well. Fast forward, and Kyle came back around asking and we decided we better order. We ordered, ate, two of us ordered another drink and then he asks about dessert. Others in the area we saw with their dessert and a bottle with flashers on it for their birthday. We got nothing other than the dessert. The info stated for your birthday you get a free dessert, seemed like no sooner had the dessert been brought he brought the check which there was no free dessert. I'm sure if I had asked I would have some attitude. PF Chang's had been known as a place to go where service was exceptional as well as the atmosphere. I was to say the least extremely disappointed with both of these. The food was good, however the restaurant itself was warm and I can only imagine how warm it was for the servers and kitchen staff. I like to eat here when I'm craving loads of salt or sugar. I know I will get the lions share of it no matter what I order. Eric is one of my favorite waiters! He is courteous, fast, professional and a really nice guy! Black bean chicken, crab fried rice and Norwegian salmon are my favs. The gluten free menu is nice but beware...this is NOT a gluten free restaurant and I have reactions to the food the same as I do when eating wheat products (ie, runny nose, bloating etc.) Overall PF Chang's is famous for its "high notes" with sugar and salt. PF Changs is a solid choice for good, Chinese-Americanized cuisine. WARNING!! THE PARKING AT THIS LOCATION SUCKS. Get here early or park in the lots across the street. Half of the parking spots are reserved for Valet. I like to get the Orange Peel Beef. A good starter is the lettuce wraps. The service is hit or miss depends on your wait person. I WILL say we have usually always had pretty good service. Tonight was a little rough, the hostess sat us near the server area and I asked to be moved. There was a little miscommunication and the manager swept in and fixed us right up with a free appetizer. The dinner was as good as it gets. The service was top notch. Clint waited on our party of 12 and he was wonderful. Even as guests kept trickling in, he kept up with everyone's drinks and food. We were there early enough on Saturday to enjoy their happy hour specials which run until 6pm... love their spring rolls, 2/$3. Every couple ordered their four-course dinner for two which includes soup, starter, entrée, and dessert for just $39.95. I like their hot and sour soup and my hubby prefers their egg drop soup, both are good. We shared the chicken lettuce wraps which were yummy, but we thought the ones I make have more flavor. We were lucky enough to have a server (Deena) who was welcoming and efficient. She was committed to providing outstanding service and enthusiastic about her company. I had to wait half an hour to place a to go order, was hung up on twice had to go to firebowl across the street that does not have egg drop soup or chicken eggs rolls or what my family wanted all while on the phone waiting to speak with someone or a manager. Once I got to a manager all he could do was make excuses and had no solution for the problem. Very rude tone. 2nd time when late order, his response: we are busy and you can cancel the order. He is extremely rude and shows belittling face each time. Called to check in the pick up order. This man made me hold for 10 minutes then told that order would be ready in 10 minutes. 30 minutes later while I was waiting in the restaurant, I am told order was never arrived. He lied. We dined there recently for a special occasion. Having a gift certificate made the decision much easier. PF Chang's is solid for and I've always had a good lunch or dinner here. Yea it's a chain and there are much better Asian themed dining experiences here in Austin to be had but PFs has always provided a good experience. On our most recent visit we were promptly seated, as requested, at a side table, service was prompt, and competent. Our entrees; chicken with veggies and my spicy chicken dish was very well done. Americanized Chinese food that is pretty darn tasty and served in a great atmosphere. I like that the location doesn't make you dress up to dine, but you can if you want and you won't feel out of place. We haven't been in a while and were surprised to see the sushi options on the menu. We started our meal with their Kung Pao dragon roll, and it was delicious! Great start to the meal. The server was on point and always quick with a refill or to check if we needed anything. We had the Korean chicken stir fry, the orange peel chicken and the Chang's spicy chicken. They were all delicious and the lunch portions were good and everyone had plenty of food. I added a pork egg roll and it was very good as well. I recently tried to take my mother here for an early dinner on her birthday. The host asked if we had reservations to which I replied no as I've never needed reservations before. He told us there was no availability. We looked in and there were only 2 couples seated. The rest of the restaurant was empty. I asked if we could sit at the bar or eat outside. He said no. I then asked if I could speak with a manager as I didn't understand why we couldn't be seated since the restaurant was practically empty. He said he was the manager therefore giving us with no other alternative but to leave. The hostess said she was waiting on reservations and couldn't seat us for an hour and a half. After questioning the decision I gave it a last shot and asked to be seated in one of the dozens of empty table. She said no and we left. Poor decision. WON'T EVER GO BACK. Chain or no chain, this P.F. Chang's delivers great dining experience. The location is quite convenient for before or after shopping brunch, lunch, or dinner. The food is not the healthiest, but then again, it's not all deep fried. It's been a minute since I've been to a P.F. Chang's, but from my prior experiences, a lot more of the menu consisted of carb- and fat-ladden deep fried dishes. Cannot vouch for the entire menu at this location, but my meal was on the not-so-unhealthy side of the scale. That is, aside from the jumbo dessert of The Great Wall of Chocolate -- which I, naturally, was sorely unable to even come close to finishing on my own! Word of advice: don't get it unless you have at least four people at your table, willing to share it and crazy about chocolate. In my case, I'm crazy about chocolate, but not crazy enough to wolf down this monstrosity in one go. The seating was prompt and the hostess was... hospitable (probably, due to the manager standing watchfully by her side). The service was friendly, low-key, unassuming, and efficient. Absolutely nothing to complain about. The server and I even exchanged a couple of chuckles throughout the meal. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. I finally made it into PF Chang's conveniently on my birthday. It's usually too overcrowded for us to dine, but we went on a Monday nite, so there was seating available.. The service was friendly and very customer oriented. We had the appetizer - Edamame, which was healthy and delicious. We ordered our main course, I had the Moo Goo Gai Pan, which was absolutely mouth watering and delicious. Plenty of food, PF Chang's is not shy with servings. Melissa had the sweet and sour pork, which was tasty and plentiful. They proceeded to serve me a birthday surprise, in which I posted a pic, a huge NY Style Cheesecake, on the house, for my birthday. Very much appreciated, and that much more, delicious. I really enjoyed my evening at PF Chang's and will return without question. 4 stars! read more

Colton was incredible and the best server I've ever had at any PF Chang's restaurant. While I know he was busy, he was attentive and made great conversation. For Christmas I received a fifty dollar gift certificate for PF Chang's. I was happy to know they are two locations San Jacinto and Jollyville up north so we decided to drive North for dinner. The parking was full so we parked in the front we got lucky to find a person pulling his car out quicky took this spot and guess what no waiting for a table. I thought what a lucky evening seeing many tables full of people. So after viewing the menu we order our drinks a lemon drop martini and a Nanejo Buzz, coconut mojito, coconut Alexander. All drinks served with bar talent excellant .......seriously my favorite of all was the dessert drink a grasshopper amazing flavor. Service was a definite five stars easy the waitress very attentive shocking tables were overwhelming full but made the effort to be there and serve us well Delila is a top notch waitress. The evening was going extremely well so ordered appetizers crab wonton and fried calamari so flavorful our entrees were then ordered Combination Lo Mien the best and the lobster fried rice delicious. I love this beautiful resturant food is very good and servers are the best I can't say enough good things about this place. I had a great dinner tonight and happy to post my experiance. The only reason I gave Chang's a 1 star is because there are no zero stars. My wife and I were there at 7 PM on 9-4-2022. The place was 80% vacant with tons of tables everywhere. Only a handful of tables were occupied. Two front attendants were there to make sure they upset EVERY guest/client and turn down as much business as possible. Rude and LAZY!. There were about 12 people waiting to sit down and yet, there were dozens of tables setup and available. So we were turned down and they claimed that the wait is 2 to 3+ hours. So we asked if we could sit down at the bar. The attendant quickly excluded that as well and said that they only have one bartender working. After asking around what was going on, it seems like P.F. Chang's had no servers, no help, no bartenders. In talking with a person that worked there about a month ago, they claimed that Chang's pays their employees extremely low wages (which explains why they had no workers). So we dumped them (as did nearly everyone waiting), and went to Thai Kun in the Domain. We were greeted by a wonderful person and were seated in less than 2 minutes. The place was extremely well staffed and the food was 100x better than anything Chang's has and the workers all seemed happy. And yet the prices were about 10 to 20% less than Chang's. The GM (Amy) even THANKED us for being there as we consumed 3 main courses. What a sad outcome for Chang's - When our local fast food restaurants are paying $18 to START - restaurants will have to step up their game or go out of business. That's the only binary choice. Chang's prices are moderate - they could raise their prices by 20% and not lose a single client - what loses clients is when you put the rudest people to greet the customers, MIA managers, and decide to not staff their restaurants. In our mind - this 20+ year Austin legacy is out for us. I wish them well - though is yesterday was any forecast of what is to come, I am not too optimistic about their outcome - though I wish them well! read more

First time experience for me and everything was delicious there lettuce wraps are a great way to start your meal. Bring your appetite because you will want to finish it all the portion sizes are more then generous. I got full and couldn't finish (surprised because I had a delivery order) this was well worth it. Waited 45 min for my curbside dinner. I texted when I got there and was told that it would be brought out to me once it was ready. After waiting 15 min I called and was told that it would be brought out to me right away. I waited again and nobody came so I called again and was assured that somebody was going to come out right away with my order and again nothing. So I go inside to find out that my order had being ready for over 30 min but the kitchen staff had forgotten to take it out to the car. Let me start by saying that service was good, and very kind. However, the entire meal was pretty disappointing. We started by ordering wine and sushi. The kitchen said they were out of sushi- ok, fine, we'll grab another appetizer. Then, we ordered an entree- they brought out a different entree, but it was still chicken, so whatever. We mentioned it to our server but aren't ones to waste or send back food. Then, we ordered the chocolate soufflé. After waiting almost 30 minutes, we just asked for the check. The server came out with a nearly-frozen souffle, which we just asked for a box for an made our way out. On top of it all, we got charged for the more expensive entree that we didn't order. What we weren't as pleased with was the poor service. 4/23/2021 at around 7:15, the entire staff looked flustered, rushed, and not all together with it. Several orders that weren't ours were presented to us, which we politely declined. Our server seemed to want to rush us out of the place rather than upsell the meal.
