I am so very impressed! having recently discovered an unfortunate gluten intolerance (boooooooooooo, especially due to a lifetime of carb-lover syndrome), I have to be more selective about where and what I eat. lame. anyway, my girlfriend and I dined at P.F. Chang's last night, and we were greeted by a terrific host (who was terrifically funky), and had a terrific server who was very attentive to our needs AND new all about the gluten-free items on the menu, down to the sauces!!! she even brought me out a special sauce. Chang's offers a GLUTEN-FREE menu on the back - this is so awesome!!! I cannot tell you how much I appreciated that. And, the selection is widespread, so you're not limited to a few things with this setback. I had the Fried Rice with Shrimp, and it was delicious, and definitely affordable. The ambience is really nice, the drink menu looks interesting (though a little pricey), and there is plenty of seating Because I spent a great deal of my younger life in the service industry, I fully appreciate having great service, because I was a great server - and this means a lot to the customer! My husband and I were at Chandler Mall and decided to get some dinner in the area before driving back to North Phoenix where we live. We had never eaten at any PF Changs before and my husband had been hearing a local radio DJ gushing about how great it is, so we gave it a shot. We told our server, Sara, it was our first time in and she actually clapped her hands she was so excited. She told us they were going to buy us lettuce wraps as an app for being our first time in. When she brought back the drinks we expressed interest in the 4 course menu and she asked us to trust her and let her order it all for us. We did, and it was all great! Egg drop soup, dumplings, Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, and the manager bought us an extra entree of orange shrimp. The service was great, the food was tasty, both managers came by the table to chat for a minute and thank us for trying out the restaurant. We brought home enough food for dinner tomorrow too! We were impressed to say the least. We will definitely return the next time we are in the area. read more

Let's get straight to my wife and a I ordered orange peel chicken, chicken lo mein, chicken fried rice, and veggie spring rolls. The orange peel chicken was just ok but it was chicken breast so that's a plus, the low mein was good wasn't too strong a flavor, fried rice was good as well not too much soy sauce not too little just right, the veggie spring rolls were not to my liking there were some pretty big chunks of cabbage in them flavor was ok though. The biggest PLUS for this establishment is the service it was perfect, got our refills without being too intrusive, we weren't bothered every minute about how the food is while we're still eating. A scorpion crawled down my shoulder to my arm when sitting in the northeast bench of the Chandler location. I had to flick it off and our whole table was displaced when the manager tried to kill it. It was the sickest experience I've ever had at a restaurant! The waiter admitted that two weeks prior a woman was stung in the backroom. This was months ago! I just found out my next door neighbor was just stung last week at this same location! They seriously need to get this scorpion infestation under control and consider the public safety of their patrons!!! read more

I've been to this PF Chang's location more times than I can count. The food is always good, and usually the service is also fine. Today, we went for lunch with a group of 10 after our bowling league. After telling the server twice very early on that we would need separate checks for 4 couples and 2 individuals, she couldn't seem to manage the task adequately. Several of the checks were incorrect, and it was at least 1/2 hour for us to pay our bills. She apologized profusely, but I didn't think that was adequate. I don't know if this was a training issue, computer problem, or maybe we should have called a manager over. I will be back with one or two other people because I like the food, but our group has decided to skip this location for lunch in the future. read more

I could not BELIEVE how rude, curt, and unhelpful the host staff was during our visit. They were intentionally discouraging people from being placed on a wait list by stating excessive wait times when they entered the location. Also, as several people waited to be seated, I observed at least six tables remain unoccupied for over 20 minutes. The food portion sizes were also very small. The only redeeming aspect of this visit was the food server, John. He was friendly, engaging, and attentive to all of our needs. Overall, however, this was a very disappointing visit and we will neither return, nor recommend this location to others. read more

We've been to this location many times. Food was always great. The service this time was mediocre at best. Waiter forgot a drink order and the food took unusually long to come out. It was a little busy and we waited patiently for our food. Waiter never acknowledged us to let us know food was coming or kitchen was taking a while.. Nothing. The male manager asked how everything was and we let him know the food was taking a little longer than usual... When the food finally came out, we simply asked the Waiter to pack the food to go, we were ready to leave at this point. We were not mean or rude about it, we were just ready to go. Manager came over and had the NERVE to say,... "it's not a buffet, we do have to cook the food" Seriously!?!? Totally rubbed us the wrong way... Never ever going here again... NEVER!! read more

Vegan's and Vegetarian's beware! The waiter we had asked the manager to give us a menu so we could make an informed decision... It took over 15 minutes to get the print out and he did not even give us vegetarian options just NO MILK NO EGG that was not helpful as the sauces may not be vegetarian, and there were chicken options on the print out he gave us! When we asked him a question about the menu like can we have the spicy asparagus he said: "well is it allergy or a dietary option?" He did not want to help us and he seemed bent out of shape to help us fine something to eat! We had veggie lettuce wraps that We order before we had the print out menu, so went somewhere else to eat! When I came back for missing entrée the other day, the restaurant manager treated me like I was cheater. I have more problem with this particular manager than the restaurant itself. What a huge disappointment PF Chang's in Chandler, AZ was on Mother's Day. My husband called at 11am to find out when it was the best time to put in an order for dinner. They said the sooner the better so he put it in then...to be ready at 6pm. My husband showed up right on time and it was pure chaos from the word "go". They didn't know anything about where his order was. The manager, Tom didn't have any kind of handle on his restaurant. He were told our dinner would be ready in 2-3 hours. Seriously? We placed an order and was told it would be ready at 6. He waited for an hour and a half while continuing to find out where our dinner was. He have people promise to check and they'd go into the kitchen and never come back out. There were bags and bags of food on the bar counter with no one doing anything about them until he tried to see if any of them were ours. Then they'd yell about him touching the bags. With the idea of social distancing, there are so many people in the restaurant all as frustrated and angry about their dinners also not being ready and no one there with any idea about it. You'd think they would have though this through with it being Mother's Day and all. Maybe they need a different manager. One that actually knows how to manage a restaurant and deliver as promised. Chose this place for an early dinner and wow were we disappointed. Used to come here a lot years ago, sadly we will not be back. The tempura veggies and calamari were bland, soggy and really greasy. When people don't finish an appetizer and ask that it be removed, a server should know it's bad. I had the Ma Po Tofu, bland with no sauce to speak of and also the asparagus side dish. The asparagus was ok but was also extremely greasy. Husband had the sichuan beef, he picked out some of the meat and left the rest. His dish had no real sauce either, just...you guessed it...greasy...makes for some dry rice. We really should have sent back some of the food, but it was my birthday dinner and neither of us wanted to spoil it. But who knew that the food would spoil it for us!? I put my to go box directly in the garbage when we got home. There are many, many, much better authentic Asian places in Chandler, stay in your car and drive to one. read more

With covid-19 going on I'm very hesitant to eat out. However I want to do my part and support my favorite restaurant to do what I can to help them stay afloat. The reason why I'm giving this location 1 star is because it's my birthday and I ordered off there website for delivery waited an 1 and 35 minutes to be disappointed that my order never arrived. I later learned that they used door dash. I was upset as you can imagine but I figured someone needed it more than me. Contacted the location to let them know I never received my order. Tom was very rude and condescending he kept saying like I said and would put me on hold during mid sentence. When he put me on hold the first time I waited for 7 minutes and someone hung up. Called back and someone instantly hung up again. Called again no one answered for 10 minutes hung up and called from another number got straight through and Tom answered he asked me did I look outside I replied yes I did 20 mins before I called you and I just did it again before I called back. He explained the refund process but not clearly. As frustrating as the situation was I didn't want to take it out on anyone. So I just wanted to know about my refund. Mike the general manager got on the phone he was just as rude. The experience was awful and because of being treated sooo poorly I will never eat and or order dine in or dine out at this establishment. These businesses don't care about us. Sometimes I think they forget it's our hard earned dollars that keep the doors open. Anyways save your money go where you are respected and appreciated. read more

It's delicious. Plain and simply. I love PF Chang's! Always always ALWAYS order the Lettuce Wraps! Oh my gooood lord, they're good. You feel like you're really eating a treat, but really you're eating healthy! After the wraps, they brought me the Hot & Sour soup. Perfection. It's different than other Hot & Sour soups in other chinese restaurants. This had just the right amount of spice without it being too spicy. After that, my Beef Lo Mein came! Delicious. I am so very impressed with the Chinese culture of PF Changs. I've always wanted to try it and just kept driving by it. The fact that I am in love with Chinese food brought me into this restaurant, and blew me away. It's not a knock of type of food and it seems legitimately Chinese. I definitely recommend it and plan on going there many more times. The food quality and service was phenomenal. It's so hard trying to choose something from the menu with such variety on it. I'm very happy with what i ordered and it came out just the way i wanted it; no problems at all. This restaurant was fantastic. It gave me the feeling that I was not in america anymore. everything was detailed to a T and the food was spectacular. I had the orange chicken and it was bursting with flavor in my mouth. When you walk in its dark but not too dark to the point of not being able to see very well. I felt like i was in China. The cool thing that i found unique was that you were able to see the chefs cook your food. The service was great. The waitors always came by at the right time to check on us and they never once tried to rush us into anything. While we were waiting for our food they brought out some appitizers and they prepared the sauces right in front of us which was pretty neat. We also were able to have a conversation without having to talk over the huge crowd in there. For how many people were in there it wasn't loud at all. I gave the restaurant a 4 because it was spectacular but it wasn't the best restaurant I have ever been to. The orange chicken had to have been the best i have had in a while. The restaurant really was good with customer service and that was probably the best part about it. The waitors always came by to check on us, but not too much to where it got annoying, and our classes were never empty. I would definitely reccomend this to any one even if you don't like chinese food becasue it was chinese but had a lot of american style of food in their menu. read more
