This was our first visit to this restaurant and after reading these reviews today, we all found out that most of the details from other reviews are true. Who knows if the dishes are clean since it is so dark in there but as far as the glasses, it is true, I found a floater piece in my glass of water. In our party of eight, the majority of the plates were not hot and barely made, more like microwaved and not all were served at the same time. For the side rice, it was a dry and under cooked. The place was not that busy for this to happen. It was a disappointing visit to say the least. The worst part today of our visit is that my wife got a text from her bank and she was charged an "EXTRA" $10.00 tip on her debit card for our two dishes when she already put "zero tip" on the charge slip. During COVID-19, we wanted Asian food and had been there before and enjoyed their food. We called when we got there and it took a total of 30 minutes to receive our food. The manager, a hefty man, came out with the receipt and took our credit card. 10 minutes later, he brought the food out and was going to walk away, when I mentioned he had our credit card. He mumbled something and went inside. It took another 10 minutes before I got off card to go inside to see where our credit card was. He brought it out and mumbled something again. Hadn't been to a PF Changs in a decade so decided to try it out again. Got the Sichuan beef. It had a spicy symbol next to it. It came out and there was next to no flavor and zero spice. The sriracha they gave me tasted like tomato sauce with no flavor. They didn't charge me for my meal which was nice since I only ate a few bites. The manager even asked if I wanted something to go. I was just ready to get out of there and go eat something decent. Good green beans though. Definitely won't be back. Nice ambience and decent service, but many better places to go. read more

The food was.great but i loved that for the to go order they hooked it up with a bunch of sauces and dressings and the food was done quickly i just loved the whole experience. I have eaten at several P.F. Chang's restaurants across the country and this particular location is the worst I have encountered. The hostess is one of those annoying people who end every sentence with the word "OK?" and then she tried to seat us at a community bench even though there were several booths available. The server brought menus promptly and said "Let me know if you have questions" and then disappeared for more than five minutes. When she finally came back we were able to ask our questions and place our order. The candle on our table was not lit and the server said she would ask somebody to light it. More than five minutes later the server herself came back and tried to light the candle herself, but she had difficulty because she did not have a working lighter. The appetizer was brought by a different server and he asked "How is your day going?". Trying to be fake friendly is not the way to make a customer feel welcome. A better question would have been "What can we do to make your visit better?". P.F. Chang's signature appetizer is its lettuce wrap. At this location the fragments of lettuce were too small to wrap anything. Some pieces were as small as 1 inch by 2 inches. The chain tries to invoke a sense of Chinese culture with its architecture and its food, but the music being played was very irritating and was not even remotely related to anything Asian. To make matters worse they had large screen TVs that made the place feel like a sports bar. Instead of simply paying our bill as one would do in an upscale restaurant, the server kept insisting that we fill out a card with our name and email address so that "we can earn points". Points programs rarely benefit the customer and are usually not worth the hassle. Apparently P.F. Chang's is desperate to build a mailing list. And then the busboy tried to clean the table while we were still seated. He even tried to take our drinks. P.F. Chang's has tried to build its market share by offering quality Chinese fare in a striking space. The taste of the food is excellent and the decor is attractive, but the experience is not positive at this location because there is no attention to detail. read more

I ate at this P.F. Chang location for lunch two days ago as a first time visitor. The atmosphere is nice, and the server was spot-on with her service. I ordered the beef szechuan dish with brown rice, and was served my meal in a very timely manner. For my taste, the beef was a bit too dry and tough. I will try a different dish in the future. Dumplings were undercooked and the Manager said that was how they make them, crazy talk!?!. I could be better with what happened if he had accountability but trying to explain to me that it was pink because it's like bacon, even though it is cooked it doesn't change color is total B.S. No, this is not cured bacon, it is ground pork and must be cooked completely which mine was not, at all. Our server apologized but was totally stressed out from him not coming and talking to us until replacements were brought, which we didn't want. When he checked back he didn't talk to me or make eye contact. What a disgrace of a manager. Pathetic horrible management. After waiting 10 minutes to be served, got up and asked manager (tall and large guy) for help. He gave attitude and said he would send someone. He walked over to another table and did nothing about getting us help to order food. We got up and left. No one noticed. A restaurant has one job: serve food. Creative recipes with exquisite menu items! Service was decent and prompt. Having said that, a couple of months ago shortly after grand opening we stopped by to endure our Los Angelina habit of ordering our all-time favorite, Singaporean street noodle, but our favorite dish ended up tasting like Indian curry dish with undercooked noodles. The manager on charge was kind enough to offer us another order of noodle to-go for free, alas there was no difference from the previous order! I have been to other P.F.'s and been satisfied with decent food. My drink was tasty but a bit on the weak side, my meat in the entree tasted burned and over done. This was our first time to dine at a P.F. Chang's and upon stepping through the doors the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. One of our sons has a peanut allergy and since this was our first time dining at this restaurant we were unsure as to possible cross contamination. The manager, Carlos, personally saw to it that our sons order was peanut free and even went as far as printing out a menu with all the peanut free options available. Our server was very genuine and excelled at his job. We felt very well taken care of throughout our dining service. The food was fresh, tasty, and just the right amount. Went to this location tonight with my boyfriend. It was both of our first time eating PF Changs. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I can honestly say I have no major complaints. The service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious and filling, can't really ask for much more. I started off with the egg drop soup which was delicious. It's thicker in consistency than I'm used to and I don't normally see carrots in that kind of soup, but it still hit the spot. He and I shared four pan fried pork dumplings which come with some kind of chili sauce drizzled on them. They looked intimidating because of the color of the sauce, but they weren't spicy at all and just tasted like normal pan fried dumplings. For our entrées he ordered Changs spicy chicken with brown rice and I got chicken lo mein. I was totally satisfied with the lo mein. The blend of veggies, the chicken, and the egg noodles were great and whatever it was cooked with wasn't overpowering and had the classic lo mein taste. My boyfriend liked the spicy chicken, but he said it wasn't spicy at all. He eats pretty spicy foods and most places don't ever seem to be spicy enough for him, so I figured that was why. But then he had me try a bite. I can eat mild spicy but I'm usually a wimp when it comes to spicy foods. So usually when he says it's not spicy and I try it, it's usually real spicy for me. After trying the bite of his chicken I was surprised to find that it really wasn't spicy at all. It had a chili flavor to it but there was no kick, not even in the after taste. That was really the only downside of the evening, but he said it still tasted good so it wasn't that big of deal. Overall I really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely go back. I would just suggest adding more kick to the meal if you are going to label something as spicy. read more

Save your money and go to the Westside location. This new location is cramped and the ambiance is terrible. The food was not nearly as good as the westside location. This happened to be my very first time at this particular P.F. Chang's and we were placed in a small booth table combo. If it wasn't cramped enough the manager happened to make a "table touch" with the patrons next to us that took the entire course of our meal. She even sat down next to them and made our cramped section in the common booth area even more cramped. I get making sure guests are well taken care of but not sitting there an entire meal having full blown loud conversation. I did not pay for that.
