First time at this location. We were so use to visiting highland village river oaks PF CHANG'S. This one is nice too, but I'll prefer the previous location and setting. Dined here with my mom, brother, and son. The booth seating was lower than expecting, but not uncomfortable. It took a while for water to be served, then double the time to collect orders. Service was very slow and tables were open, so it was not overly packed, or even a full house to be as slow as it seemed. Food was hot and fresh upon delivery. Sauces didn't suffice, and when requested, it was forever to be delivered that that dish was consumed or cool to be packaged and ate as leftovers. Best and honest description is friendly slow service. The GM Travis seemed delightful, and accepting of honest feedback, nothing was altered, or discounted just friendly convo and apologies which I greatly appreciate the acknowledgment. I stopped by P.F. Chang's around 2:30 p.m., just after the Galleria lunch rush, so the restaurant was pretty quiet. I came in for the Veterans Day special (which ends at 3:00 p.m.), and while I appreciated the gesture, the experience itself was just okay. I ordered the Spicy Chicken with fried rice, one veggie spring roll (because they were outnof sweet and sour soup), and a pomegranate lemonade. The drink was actually the highlight--refreshing, not too sweet, and had a nice tart finish. The food, on the other hand, was average. The chicken had a mild kick but lacked that bold flavor I was expecting, and the fried rice was decent but nothing memorable. Service was a bit slow considering how empty the restaurant was, though the staff was polite. Overall, it wasn't a bad visit--just not as impressive as I've come to expect from P.F. Chang's. Inside the Galleria Park II building. Met for a team lunch on a Friday at 11 am. There is garage parking and validation so bring your ticket. You have to give it to them for them to validate. Restaurant had just opened so it was fairly empty with 1-2 tables already seated - the host did tell my coworker that we should make a reservation in the future. Maybe because we were a party of 7? Tony was our waiter and helpful, funny and def needed help. It looked like he was the main or only waiter for a while. There was a guy that came out to help him a bit in the background but it seemed like Tony was running the show solo. Among the 7 of us there was a variety of items ordered. I ordered the chicken lettuce wraps (full) to share and the lunch special - firecracker shrimp with the hot and sour soup. The chicken lettuce wraps were the star of the show. Just needed more lettuce. He gave the option of iceberg or romaine. Opted for iceberg which went perfectly. The hot and sour soup was tasty and I think it had meat, no mushrooms but it felt like there was chicken bits in it. The firecracker shrimp was not spicy (to me) but sauced nicely and there was a good portion of smaller size shrimps. My boss /friend ordered the fried dumplings and I tried one. Crunchy and tender. Standard dumpling taste. He also ordered the teriyaki trio and was disappointed in how much sauce there was - it was drowning in it. I love their combo that comes with a soup and drink. I ordered the sesame chicken with brown rice and hot and sour soup. The soup was chunky and had a great balance of spicy and sour. The sesame chicken was also pretty good. The size of the chicken was decent and not overly breaded. The sesame sauce was tasty. I liked the chopped peppers and onions in it and the steamed broccoli. I enjoyed it! Of course because it's a combo, the portion of the sesame chicken was smaller than if you ordered it as an entree in its own (so no leftovers), but was a satisfying meal. They actually stopped delivering to my house on door dash which I'm not happy about. I've ordered things further away than the galleria area and just paid a distance fee. Arrived in time for a late lunch with 10 seniors. Our waiter was super great and attentive. Did not miss a beat and dealing with 10 seniors can be challenging. The chicken broccoli was very tasty but could have been a little more spicy. The veggie spring roll was really good. The dynamite sushi did not get high marks. If you love sushi, don't order this. This is inferior to panda express at 50%+ more expensive. I was really curious what this would be like with the mixed reviews. Finally tried it with a decent special from Uber eats, and it wasn't worth it! I love Chinese food and I barely made it through half of a Mongolian beef bowl. I hadn't even been to a PFC since the spring of 2015 and decided to come to this location. The last time I went was when they were at their River Oaks spot near what used to be Smith & Wollensky. I ordered a couple of my favorites togo being the Chicken n Shrimp Fried Rice and a bigger portion of the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Both were very delicious, very well-seasoned and juicy without being slimy in grease. The meat in each was very generous and the saltiness was just right too. The lettuce wraps are a perfect blend of sweet, savory and herby all in one. The crispy, cool lettuce is a nutritious addition to the rest. I would definitely recommend these two along with the lo main here. I must say the lettuce wraps are my #1, then the fried rice n then the lo mein imo. Great, friendly service as well. read more

The restaurant location (Westheimer St) with a garage parking validation is a super convenient option for dining. Staff were very kind and attentive. The restaurant's decor and music were also very pleasant. Overall food was very good, our favorites were the famous CHANG'S CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS, a must try!! Other dishes such as bbq pork ribs, pork dumplings, crispy honey shrimp and Brussels sprouts were also very tasty. The strawberry lemonade was refillable. He, alone is the reason I will come back. Love PF Chang's but this location....I don't get it. They also only have ONE curbside spot literally by the trash bins; parking is in a garage -I assume there's a fee. A bit hard to spot this location on your 1st visit. Definitely not in a convenient location for a restaurant. On the upside - the food was as good as normal. The packaging on the to go items was exceptional. Someone really thought about how to prevent spillage or contain it if it did happen. I truly appreciate that! My soup was in a secure standard to go container and then inside a plastic bag that was knotted. If it did spill, it was contained. The accuracy of the order was spot on. That I also appreciate. My wife started on her dinner the lettuce wraps. Ten minutes later still nothing. I ask what about the egg roll and my dinner,the response were working on it. Egg rolls served ten minutes later [cold] still no Mongolian beef. My wife had finished her dinner and 5 minutes later my dinner arrives. I refused it and ask for a manager . Ten minutes later she showed with all kind of excuses . Said they would comp the eggs rolls and my dinner but have to charge me for my wifes dinner because she had eaten it. The bill was $19.95 , I paid with a $20,00 and told them to keep the change. It was not the servers fault she kept appologizing I tip her $20.00 for her effort. After tossing a good portion of green onions, it was about 70% rice, 20% onion and 10% Mongolian beef. I was disappointed. My husband and I had had a long day, so we looked forward to a leisurely dinner. We chose P F Chang, since they had sent us an incentive promotion of $5 off any meal. I told the server that we had the gift certificate before we ordered, which he said was fine. Usually, we have enjoyed their food. This time, the chicken dish was quite greasy and the vegetable dish was not sizzling hot, like usual. However, since we were getting a promotional gift of $5 off, we said nothing. When we went to pay, the $5 was not deducted. When we asked, they would not honor the promotional certificate! We asked for the manager. She said that there was a minimum order (not on the promotional flyer in my hand). Our two dishes weren't enough! She then said that the promotion expired because it was offered two months ago. I had received the email on 4 November 2024. Our meal was on 5 November 2024. The promotion was good, as printed on the flyer, until 9 November 2024. We demanded that the promotional flyer be honored. They finally took off the $5 dollars, which was not a lot, but it was the principle. The promotional switch and bait left a bad taste in our mouth, besides the unsatisfactory taste of the poor cut of chicken and greasy food. Even more bizarre was the stupid reasons that the promotion could not be honored! The manager and waiter (who we tipped anyway) should be re-trained. This restaurant has lost our business. We go to a restaurant to unwind, enjoy good food, and bask in restaurant good will. The manager and staff in Houston, TX, made our experience a very unpleasant experience. Very bizarre experience. Food and service was good. No complaints about any of the servers, hostesses, or bartenders. Manager for that night made me and the other two people I was with very uncomfortable after we paid for our meal. The manager approaches us and asked if the service was good. We replied yes. He proceeded to state, "well you didn't add a tip, did you want me to go back and get the check to add a tip." Yes ok, we forgot to add a tip but after that approach I felt pressured into giving a tip. But we didn't. The new location is really nice compared to the old one. There is a covered patio with a little open part so during summer it shouldn't be to hot. The food is always good. Minus my last visit on 3/14. The beef was extremely chewy to the point we were spitting it out. Our normal go to is the spicy Chang chicken and the pepper steak but we decided to try the beef and broccoli as well. We will not make that mistake again. The staff is always nice minus the hostess. She works during the day almost every time we visit. She never greets us or says hello or anything. She has such a rude attitude but we always over look it. read more

I saw another reviewer mention this location as poorly managed and that's exactly how I would describe it. I placed an online order for Nothern Style Ribs and asked for extra five spice on the side. The employee working the to-go area returns with what looks like salt or sugar telling me that's what they gave her. I explained that I've never seen white five spice and she says and I quote "Girl, I'm not 'bout to argue with you" and returns to the kitchen. I found it very rude for an employee to talk to a paying customer that way. From the to-go area I could hear her explaining what happened to someone in the kitchen again saying "... and I'm not 'bout to argue with her azz" and leaves me standing at the register while she went on to work expo. After a few minutes I ask the host for a manager. He comes to the front wearing a grin that lets me know he is the one she was talking to when explaining what happened and using profanity. He says that their five spice has always been white and that's what the girl gave me. At this point I just left because I felt like I was in an alternate reality. Never in all my years of living have I seen white colored five spice and also I've gotten it there multiple times at PF Chang's and its always been brown. They were trying to give me salt I'm assuming. Perhaps it was miscommunication between the employee and the cook but I know five spice and that was not it. Also, for a worker to talk to a customer that way and to use profanity in ear shot of me was beyond unprofessional. Definitely not what I would expect from people who work in the SERVICE industry.
