PF is one of my favorite restaurants to go but for some reason food wasn't good this time, I love their Mongolian beef every time in the past but for the last 2 times I been there the beef was tough, gummy can't even chew it, overcooked and no flavor at all. Hubby ordered a spicy chicken with Lo mien and same thing no flavored just spicy. Anyway I don't think I will recommend this place anymore to my friends and family. My son, who is a very good eater wouldn't touch his teriyaki chicken and the "extra" chicken I paid for was the same size as a regular plate. Visit from LA for a sports tournament and this seemed like a safe bet with kids. The location itself was okay (mall shares same parking lot- not connected), place was clean and the staff was all very friendly. Overall the food was great except for the kids meals. We showed our kids the website pictures to ensure a smooth dinner and everyone was excited. Unfortunately what arrived wasn't like what was shown for the 4 kids meals- ie the fruit wasn't a side of fresh berries in a cup but rather a couple slices of oranges on the same plate as the noodles so soaked in that sauce, the chicken teriyaki was nothing like the website- looked like honey chicken that we actually asked if it was that- was told no they do things differently there-- seemed odd at a chain restaurant and without any mention when ordering) our server removed the charge for the meal and was very nice about it! Love to stop here for dinner and is in a central location. The staff is friendly and we are usually seated quickly. We love the cod, chow mien, sesame chicken, potstickers, kung pao chicken with brown rice. The sauces are flavorful and authentic. We usually pick this place for large parties as they are usually able to accommodate a party of 20. We celebrate a birthday here for. Family member usually once a year and they set up the table nicely. Lettuce wraps and potstickers are juicy and Asian flair that we always start with those. The crispy beans are a nice side. I used to love getting The Ma Po Tofu, but they have, unfortunately, changed the recipe; gone are the large puffy, flavorful pieces of tofu that have been replaced with a nearly inedible, too spicy-sauce and teeny-tiny pieces of diced Tofu, served with almost un-cooked extra-large pieces of Broccoli. My husband got the Orange Chicken -- which he said was tasty at first with a good orange citrus flavor, but quickly faded because the batter was excessive with small pieces of chicken and it overpowered the dish. He said the Fried Rice was pedestrian at best. The service was mediocre, however we still tipped generously because it's a New Year, plus I've been in the food service industry and know how difficult it can be -- but it sure would be nice if in the future that tip was actually earned; maybe check in and actually ASK us how everything is going instead of just dropping off food/drinks and saying "there ya go" and bolting right away. Server Nicole very helpful, efficient and delightful. They have lunch specials! I got wok fried eggplant. Absolutely delicious. One of the best hot and sour soups I've ever had. Fantastic Tokyo Tea. I made a reservation for this place on open table for Mother's Day at 6:45pm . When we checked in at 6:30 they said it would be about a 30 min wait . Why have the nice ambience and serve fast food Chinese. The orange chicken for $20 is a small portion tons of breading and very little chicken and the flavor is disappointing . I can say the same about the beef with broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. Very disappointing. I did think the lettuce wraps were decent. The egg drop soup not so much. Unfortunately, our daughter spilled an entire bowl on her shirt and we had to use our cloth napkins to clean it up. The server was nice enough to give us a small stack of the little drink napkins to replace them. Seriously, is there a limit on offering another cloth napkin? I came because I had a gift card. First off I want to say the staff is awesome friendly polite and fast. However the food was not good at all. The egg rolls were the best part of the entire meal. The pan fried wontons were cold inside. The chicken in the chow mein was so dry couldn't chew it. The orange chicken had an odd taste to it couldn't put my finger on the flavor but the white rice had the same taste. Kind of a soap taste it was very disappointing especially because it is so expensive. The kung pow beef was pretty good. We definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone. I always loved P.F Chang's but this time it was just ok. The wait was a full 45 minutes, that was understandable because of the limited capacity due to covid restrictions on indoor dining. Service staff was pleasant and quick. Ordered the pepper steak, fried rice with shrimp, Chang's chicken I normally order the Mongolian beef and the crispy honey chicken but I thought I would try something new.
