    Shrimp Lo Mein

I remember when PF Chang's first opened in the 1990's and it was common to wait sometimes two hours for a table, but the food was soon good, it was worth the wait. Fast forward more than 25 years and there is no wait and you'll know why when you taste the food. The food isn't awful, but it is far from the amazing food they used to serve PF Chang's first began. We had lunch and the restaurant, which was quite large, was almost completely empty. Being that it is located in a shopping center, I would have thought they would be busier. We were seated right away and our server took our order for the chicken lettuce wrap appetizer. Again, it isn't like it used to be. I remember when they used to really get into making the sauce for you. They would ask how spicy you wanted it and then they would make it some what entertaining as they mixed the ingredients. Now they just drop off the appetizer and quickly mix a few liquids together. I would understand if the place was busy, but there was almost no one else in the restaurant so I don't know why the server was rushing. The taste was okay, but not as crispy as I remember PF Chang's from years ago. For our meals, we had the Chang's Spicy Chicken with rice and the Shrimp Lo Mein. The Spicy Chicken was okay; again, not the way it used to be when Chang's first opened. The chicken used to be big solid pieces of chicken breast with an amazing sauce. Now, I think they are just using pieces of chicken thigh and the sauce isn't as spicy as it used to be. The Lo Mein with the shrimp was good. The noodles were good with a tasty brown sauce and the shrimp, while not very many, and mixed in were some fresh vegetables. Overall, the food was okay, but not really any better than some of the fast food Asian restaurants. There are so many restaurants that when they first started, were absolutely amazing. But over time, as they expand their menu, they seem to lose the flavor and what made them so amazing in the first place. The restaurant itself was very nice and clean and our server was very friendly. But as I have seen the quality of PC Chang's decline, I don't see coming back.

Friday night early dinner reservations were made, traffic made us a little late however we were seated immediately. They had a few Valentine's Day specials going on designed for two people, we did not partake in those specials however, at the end of our meal we did receive a coupon for free dessert on our next visit. Cocktails were strong tonight and dinner was delicious, free parking is always an added bonus, and our server was friendly and at

I went to lunch at this restaurant with two friends to celebrate the birthday of one of them. We had high hopes for a great lunch, but when the food arrived none of us liked what we ordered. The soup tasted horrible, the tea was tasteless, the lo mein noodles were very dry and the teriyaki chicken was the wrong choice since it too was not good. I've been here before and my experience was totally opposite of this day's experience. To top it off, one of my friends could not get them to get the bill right. She sent it back twice just to get it adjusted right. The woman who as our server did try to appease us, but she could only do so much.

Had an end of year event dinner with our committee here at this location. The service was great. My food came out on time. Great vibes. My beef lo mein was great & tasty, I wish I had a little bit more beef, but it was good. The egg drop soup was not good at all. It didn't have a taste or flavor. It was like water down soup. The crispy green bean appetizers were good. I enjoyed the dipping sauce that it came with. The wontons were good, could've had a more seafood taste in there, with little bit more seasoning, but it was still good. I did enjoy the pomegranate lemonade.

Service was amazing. Fast and friendly. Our server David was very attentive. The food was delicious. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and my son in law ordered the chicken can't remember what it was called exactly I also ordered the green beans and he ordered the dumplings I guess that's what they are called. One container of fried rice was brought to the table for us the share well as the rice was favorable but it was cold not even warm. The lighting was great. One huge problem was the many gnats or fruit flies not sure but it was lots we spent the entire time fanning them away. David the server said it was because some pipe or something to that nature was open. We just dealt with it since we didn't see them until we got the food.

Fried Rice, New- Korean Fried Chicken Korean fried chicken could have used more sauce tossed through it. It was cooked well but had no flavor without the sauce. The rice that comes alongside it is bland, but the few cucumbers were tasty. Staff was attentive but my child's sushi roll was served without all the ingredients - avocados was missing. Manager offered ice cream to make up for it...but her meal came with ice cream anyway

I eat at P.F. Chang's regularly, and they absolutely never disappoint! Tonight was no exception, everything was divine. We made it on time for happy hour, so I started with the tropical tiki, which was a little bit sweeter for my preference, but it was very good and a bit strong. Nice contrast of pineapple and coconut, and, of course, very aesthetic. From the happy hour menu, we ordered a couple of appetizers, the tempura calamari, which was ridiculous delicious with some creamy, wasabi sauce, absolutely amazing! We also got pan fried shrimp dumplings, which never disappoint, and I highly recommend. And if you don't like shrimp, you can get them with pork. We ordered the gluten-free shrimp fried rice, which in my opinion is way better than the regular shrimp fried rice. And we also ordered an orange chicken with white rice. Because they serve everything family style it was more than enough food for two people. Our server was lovely, she took good care of us without being overbearing. I love the consistent, good service and good food that I get every time I come here.

I ordered the crispy dumplings (pork) and spring rolls as appetizers, and the spicy noodle soup as my entree. My server came to take my order, and brought me the items as they were ready. The entree came out before the appetizers. The spicy noodle soup was spicy (as named) and it was good, but it was incredibly oily and the noodles were overcooked, so I didn't eat much of it. I would definitely recommend ordering this with rice, or taking it home and making your own. The dumplings and spring rolls were crispy, but nothing special. I did like the duck sauce they had -- I would have asked my server for more of it, but she was busy in the back or something, not sure. I wish she would've checked in on me a bit more during the visit so I could have gotten more napkins and sauce. The service was alright. I wish I would've gotten checked on a little bit more, but she was nice and helped me pack my noodles to go. Overall, this spot wasn't terrible, but if I had to choose, I'd probably try another place.

The lunch specials came with soup and egg roll, and fried rice. DH ordered his litmus test dish for American style Chinese- General Tso chicken. The portion was generous. The sauce was tasty. The chicken pieces tasted like your average frozen nuggets tossed in sauce. It's that familiar "seasoning" to the chicken and coating- iykyk. Not bad at all, just not the best. He enjoyed his egg drop soup. I opted for Hunan Beef. The sauce was thicker than I prefer, with an almost gelatinous consistency. The hot and sour soup was nice, a little more sour than hot. We both thought the fried rice that came with lunch was a little bland. Maybe the entree version is better? Each special was under $10, and it's definitely a great value.

It was the in between time of late lunch 2:30-3pm so we thought we would miss the Sunday afternoon church rush. The parking lot and restaurant was full but didn't let it scare us. Shrimp Shumai and pork bao buns were so good. My kids asked for seconds We also ordered the sweet and sour chicken, spicy eggplant/tofu, shrimp& broccoli and the combination fried rice. My daughter and I cannot recommend this restaurant. It was better 15 years ago…read more It is too westernize now; meaning the food is more cater/made for western taste. When you walk in up to the restaurant, the view of ponds with large koi fish was very welcoming, however as soon as you open the door/walk in...it's a chaos of sports on tv and western music that will burst your burst your tranquility from the front of the restaurant. The restaurant was busy since it was lunch. We were seated right away. However it took the waitress a few before knowledge our small table. The waitress was in a hurry and look like she already had a bad day. She asked quickly what we would like the drink and we said water and hot tea but ask what type of tea they have? She mumble something I could not understand. So my daughter ask for green tea. We started off with appetizer as usual. Shrimp toast, chicken wrap, Asian bbq ribs then a cup of hot & sour soup. Main dish were Moo Shu Pork and Mongolian beef. Soup came out first...it was lukewarm. Cup was hot but soup was lukewarm. It was vinegary and salty. This is the first time I had seen/tasted imitation crab meat in a hot and sour soup. I'd flag the waitress down to let her know the soup was cold and if she can bring me another or warm it up for me. She gave me an annoying look and took the soup back to the kitchen. The Asian bbq ribs come out then the shrimp toast a few minutes later. The shrimp toast looks appealing. The shrimp were whole shrimp on top of bread, fried bread. It was ok...no real taste and a bit greasy. There were too much honey and chewy/tough for the Asian ribs. My soup comes back hot to touch... which means it was microwave...but not an issues; what was is ...it was still lukewarm soup. I try to finish it but couldn't. Soup needs to be hot; especially hot & sour soup. The chicken lettuce wrap was delivered. It was again salty; no real taste, except for the salt. A lot of mushrooms over powering the this dish. Keep in mind we had a small table and dishes are pilling up. It took a few before anyone came to pickup the plates. Half way through our appetizer, the waitress dropped off Togo boxes with a bag right after the chicken wrap was dropped off.... Staying it's for later. So we went ahead and packup the appetizers into the Togo boxes to make room. The main dishes came out about 10 minutes later. My daughter was very surprised by her Mongolian beef. It looks more like pepper steak then Mongolian beef. Most Mongolian beef are cook with green onions, yellow onion, garlic, sesame seeds and large slices of beef...some with a little sauce other dry so this is a the first for us to see a Mongolian beef looks like that. It was again too salty. There was more bell pepper than beef. The beef was slice small. The moo shu pork come out already wrap?? Which confuse me. Most of the time the thin rice pancake is on the side and moo shu pork is a little sweet and savory that comes with plum sauce so you can spread as little or lot of plum sauce into the rice pancake then top it off with moo shu pork. Since it was all roll up...it was very messy trying to pull it open to put the plum sauce. The dish lack favors...it had a char like taste. Usually moo shu pork is very flavorful and fill with flavorful juice from the ingredients like cabbages, bamboo, onion, mushrooms and eggs. There was no favor except a char taste. I have eaten here before a long time ago and it's definitely not the same taste/food and experience. We pack the food home so we can get a second opinion from other family members and the results were the same. I would never recommend for anyone looking for Asian cuisine. But if you like America/Asian cuisine/atmosphere then this is a place for you.
