You have to wait forever, pay an expensive bill and it isn't even worth it. It's far away from where we live and we decided to try it since some people recommended it. I got an EMPTY lobster tail and my husband got chicken and rice. Literally a bowl of brown rice, no flavor or veggies and a plate of chicken just thrown on. Tasted like chicken you just cooked on the stove with no salt and tastes like water. We waited an hour to get seated and get our drinks and then another hour to get our food. Not coming back, both of our dishes were flavorless. McDonald's would have been a better option. Stay away folks it isn't worth it, not coming back!! read more

My family has come here once in awhile for years and years. The food is usually pretty good and the service is satisfactory. There's a few things like lettuce wraps that draw us in, but otherwise theres not much that makes PF Chang's rise above the many many restaurants with a similar menu. Wow, I literally threw away one of the dishes that had some moldy veggies. The others were barely edible--no flavor really except salt. Extremely low meat to coating ratio on the batter coated dishes, almost no veggies, basically flavoreless except for salt. Even the lettuce wraps were awful. Way too salty, and no sour or spicy tones at all. No crunchy rice sticks--just stir fried wilted ones. Two tiny slices of green onion, very little water chestnut. i honestly have to laugh a bit.. at first when the hostess said we couldn't sit in a booth because it would be too hard for our server (it was 2 feet away from the table we were sat at) i wasn't bothered, but when 3 tables after us arrived and were sat at booths i thought it was a little weird. the atmosphere was so odd and uncomfortable, the staff was a bit awkward but our server was nice. the food wasn't good at all if i'm being honest. i've had dozens of dumplings and the filling in these tasted like frozen sausage pattys.. the green beans were fantastic though, but it took 30 min to get them because it was "chaotic" and no one could run them. I've worked in a restaurant since I was 16 and I am very aware of how hard it is to be a server. however there were only 5 tables, but 2 servers and 3 staff at the front of the restaurant just standing there. Hands down the worst Kung Pao Chicken I've ever had: dry chicken and absolutely flavorless, not to mention grotesquely overpriced. Well I gotta say, it was worse than the stuff from the frozen aisle. Really? Yeah. Honestly, the mental let down of it is was almost indescribable. Chain restaurant aside, it's standard MSG-ridden, crappy American style Chinese food. Absolute garbage at a premium price. App, entree to split and a couple N/A beverages annnd whapow! $50 gone. I would've rather spent $50 in one of those fish food vending machines that's supposed to have m&m's in it and feed pond fish till they puke. Okay so FIRST of all, we made a reservation at 7 but wasn't even seated until 7:45, even thought we arrived on time. What's the point of even making a reservation? Once we were finally sat and we placed our order, we realized that the people sitting around us had been there for a long time. We asked our server how long it would be until we got our food, and she said the ticket times were about 45 minutes to an hour. However, when we asked our neighbors how long they had been waiting, they said it was an hour and a half since they had ordered their food and they still hadn't gotten it yet. Portions were actually quite meh, it was good food though. Rice wasn't the best but the rest of it was actually good. Would return I'd say.

This afternoon we went for a late lunch to the location at Bridgeport Village in Tigard, OR, we were seated by 2:42pm, and greeted promptly by our server who took our drink order, appetizer order and meal order. Our drinks came out right away, and then the wait started. By 3:20pm we still without food, and we never saw our server again. We ordered lettuce wraps and sesame chicken, nothing complicated. Several tables around us received their lettuce wraps including the table behind us, who had a different server. At this point we left, and won't be going back. read more

Ate here for lunch with a group, it's been a few years since my last visit. It's a good thing we had appetizers because the lunch portions were very small. The appetizers were good, especially the fried green beans. Unfortunately I was not satisfied with the ginger chicken and broccoli main dish. It was covered in a thick sauce that really lacked flavor. I would have preferred more of a tasty stir fry not a heavy sauce, but was more dissatisfied with the lack of flavor. They might need to step up their game with some better flavors and techniques, and serve decent portions. The service was above average. The place was clean. read more

I came here for dinner before a movie at Bridgeport and let's just say they serve the same type of food just like Panda Express does and the same quality also but they are charging $13 or so per entree and they tasted just blah. Nothing special and more on the sweet side even for Kung Pao Chicken. Not only that, the wait time to be seated is cuckoo. The host told my friend and I that it would only be 20 minutes. 45 minutes later we got seated. Then while we were waiting, the host told people who arrived and wanted to know how long the wait time is, about one to one and half hour. That's just insane for mediocre or even less mediocre american chinese food. Two stars just for the service. Our server was nice, but besides that everything else is a joke and I will think twice or even five times before I will make another visit to PF Changs. read more

I have a few concerns, enough of which we will likely never go back. The place itself is nice and appears to be clean. The online menus are great with close-up pics of the food if you click on them but you can never find any pricing. My wife asked for a glass of Cab which to be fair was listed on the menu as we were shown after seeing the bill but the print is so small and the lighting so poor we could have never read it so, to say the least, we were shocked to find out it was $38! Yep, for one glass which was questionably stated to be 9 ounces, and it wasn't even good. The Thai Pad was also awful with no taste and the chicken was exactly like fast food drive-thru nuggets. We didn't even take it home. I know we can do better elsewhere and we will. You should too. read more

A real bomb this time - no spice to the soup, the vegs were NOT cooked and the chicken was like it was taken from one of those rubber squeaky toys - not much to like here. We ended up tossing it out. I am torn as to how to rate PF Changs. Is it authentic Chinese food? No. Does it taste good? Yes. Is it a good restaurant atmosphere? Yes. What about the service? Meh. Is it a good value? No. (this matters to me, as I am a cheapskate). Really, I do like PF Changs, the Schezuan Beef, the Kung Pao Chicken, the Hot and Sour Soup, are all very tasty dishes. But, I grow weary of the service...it's just not the same as PF Changs was 10-15 years ago. Food is served quickly, and is well made, but the experience is just not memorable. I find, ordering a to-go item and eating at home is more satisfying, despite this being a beautiful restaurant. Used to be delicious. The last 3 take out orders were incorrect, despite writing clear instructions and verbally asking over the phone. Stayed away for a year, went into the shop to order in person last week. Asked the guy at the register to please tell the cooks we needed rice noodles, not egg noodles. We've been at this location a couple of times for lunch. We always like the lettuce wraps. I've never had better. I tried one of their new menu items; tuna poke. It was pretty good but then I've never eaten poke before. We shares an order of crab puffs and they were a bit disappointing as there just wasn't much filling in them. I've had much better. Let me start by saying I had always heard amazing things about this place... only to be extremely disappointed when I finally went. My family went to celebrate Father's Day for my step father who had suddenly passed away only 11 days prior. After being told the wait was 1 hour, we sat at the bar for an hour and a half. During our time at the bar, we watched tables sit covered in dirty dishes for over 10 minutes. It is my belief that a manager should help where needed (busing tables that night) instead of thinking they're too good to do any dirty work. Once we did finally get a table, they placed the 4 of us at a tiny table with no chairs, menus, or silverware. The waitress didn't ask if we would like anything to drink, she only asked if we were ready to order. Once we got our food we had to ask for silverware so we could eat. The food was okay but not as good as I had expected for the price. I was bumped in the back 3 time while I ate because the wait staff couldn't fit between the too close tables, I only got an apology from 1 of them. Water was spilled on our purses and never cleaned up. If I do ever decide to try PF Changs again, it won't be at this location! They've ruined my PF Changs experience as well as my Father's Day! read more

I was struggling with whether or not to write this review, we just moved here from the east coast and have always had good meals at the PF Changs there. My husband and I went there after a shopping trip and were really looking forward to ordering our favorites, once our meals came I think I probably had about 4-5 bites before chomping down on a piece of jagged glass. I did order the brown rice and, according to my husband, it needs to be thoroughly washed/rinsed to get rid of any "alien" particles but this certainly doesn't explain how a family friendly restaurant serves up a dish with a (let's assume there was only 1) glass shard. Now, I was not hurt, mostly embarrassed. The waiter immediately went to get the manager but at that point the damage was done. They certainly handled it gracefully and were very kind but I can honestly say that I will never eat there again. read more

As I sat waiting for my order to come in, I was able to see how these "people" treat delivery folks. I felt bad for a couple of delivery people...treated like what they do doesn't matter? After my last review (which wasn't great) I received a message from the manager and was given an email credit to come back for a better experience. We brought some family with us and had dinner with a group of five. Service and food was very good, back up to their old standard of awesomeness. It's been a couple of years since we have eaten at this restaurant. Let's keep it brief, because it's not what it used to be. The menu has been changed. The recipes are different, bland and unimaginative. The routine of mixing your own sauces is absent; it was a unique part of the experience. The presentation has also changed and I suspect the sourcing has as well. For example the sea bass used to be thick and served in its sauce unaccompanied. Now spinach soaks up an odd vinegary fluid and the filet is piled on like a 90's beer pub. The tempura is not tempura, it is fried crap. The wait staff is more attentive at a local dinner dive. Of course they comped half our meal after dropping the ball repeatedly. But I would have been much happier paying full price and getting what I was used to. What I expect at this price point and the only reason to eat at a chain Chinese is now absent, gutted and worthless. I will never eat here again. I blame the private equity that bought this company 2 years ago and clearly has succeed at achieving their prime goal: margin expansion. I am sure they will accept the loss of one or two customers along the way. read more
