Pacific Catch is always a great place for healthy and fresh seafood choices. They serve them in various forms, from a rice bowl (can be substituted with greens or brown rice), to tacos, to regular entrees, etc. They also have non-seafood in case nothing catches your eye. All in all, lots of options (food and drinks) and they also have "platters to share" now which can be an entree in and of themselves! Food is very good and is especially great if you want a meal that feels "lighter". But, that's not say they don't give generous portion sizes. We always have leftovers to take home. They also have complimentary small plates of goldfish pretzels and edamame as starters with unlimited refills :D Space-wise, they have both tables inside and outside on the terrace. They can fill up during peak hours. They also accept reservations, so you can book a table with OpenTable if you don't want to wait in line. Lots of people do take out orders as well, and they also cater. Service is good, pretty fast, though sometimes a bit slow when you're trying to pay. Parking can be a bit difficult as the Pruneyard plaza has a ton of shops and restaurants, but a few loops around and hopefully you can snag a spot from someone leaving. We typically come here when we're celebrating a special occasion, so don't hesitate to let them know and they'll typically comp you a free dessert or something along those lines to make your experience more enjoyable :) read more

Margaritas are $10, a steal! - My favorite is the Guava-Rita (made with guava puree) and I also enjoyed the Spicy Pacific (serrano chiles with passion fruit puree). - Guaca-Poke $11 (a must try! its fresh ahi poke, with homemade guacamole, and it comes with house-made tortilla chips) FOOD - You have to order the taco platter here! This review is about the food and only the food. I did not dine in-- therefore I am unable to provide a review on the service and ambience. This place is a 3.5 star place. Some days when I order I do feel it's more of a 4 but a 3 is due to the frequent inconsistencies. I always order the Hawaiian teriyaki salmon. Some days I get a huge piece of salmon and loaded veggies. Other days I get a small piece of salmon and the entire dish is veggies. It's very hit or miss and honestly for $20 I don't want to risk receiving 4 oz or salmon and vegetables. The taste is always good for the most part although again with the inconsistencies, I have experienced either too much sauce from the time before or literally no sauce. Super weird. I came in on Veteran's day for happy hour specials & ordered the coconut shrimp for myself. After a short while, my stomach began hurting (a lot), and my boyfriend who tried some of the shrimp was also having stomach pain. My main course was the west coast grilled salmon with quinoa which was good, but the tahini dressing they used for the rice tasted really sour. I also thought the salad it came with tasted really oily. I did like the avocado and cauliflower it came with, though. It was roasted perfectly and melted in my mouth, I wish I had more of it since my rice was basically inedible. Glad I checked and found this unfinished review...it isn't for a particular visit, but over several years of dining. The vibe is casual and it is busy most nights. Although we always try to have a reservation, most times we visit, we head for the bar area and snag a table there. At family restaurants, I like doing this to feel a bit more grown up and separated from kiddies. Also, in the bar they have really comfortable booths in addition to high tables and the bar itself... Anyway, one of the biggest challenges to dining anywhere in the Pruneyard is the parking. Be patient, and something always opens up eventually. My hubby likes the fish tacos here and they are one of his gotos here. We all love the rice bowls and I always get the one with Poké tuna and vegetables instead of rice...so I guess it's a vegetable Poké Bowl! My vegetarian daughter loves the Tofu Rice Bowl, and though I've tried, I can't duplicate the tasty tofu they make. It's really well seasoned and a great texture. I enjoyed the Korean poki bowl with spicy cucumber, kimchi, carrot, shiitake mushrooms, edamame, gochujang soy-chili sauce over rice. I loved the Fresh Mint & Lime "Nojito". It tasted like a Mojito! Here for my daughter's birthday lunch on my sister's recommendation. We chose to sit outside in their patio which was spacious and comfortable. Most important was lots of elbow room and fresh air. Our server was helpful with our menu items. The Poki sampler plate was good along with the other menu items chosen. The taco plate and the Crab Louie salad along with the Korean sticky ribs were our items. My Crab Louie salad just needed a little more crab meat and a smidgen more of dressing. So disappointed on todays visit. Clearly servers were either "too busy" or "not organized" to even pay attention to us. We waited for about 20 minutes before we got up and spoke to the manager. We saw three, THREE other tables get drinks and orders were asked for by the server before we got up to talk to the manager. Same location, same menu, same food but on different name. I ordered citrus salmon salad, it was supposed to be with shiitake mushrooms, avocado, fruitcake, citrus dressing. How have I not heard of pacific catch before until now? I'm a big fan. I will be coming here much more often especially when the one in Cupertino opens up. This is a nicer restaurant and was taken here by my best friend to celebrate my birthday. We started out with drinks (which were both delicious). My friend got a glass of white wine while I got a cocktail. So there's a variety of drinks here as well. Food: I got the Chirashi ($23) which is a little steep but I was very pleasantly surprised with it. The fish was fresh and the scoop of avocado and seaweed salad was just enough to balance everything. The flavors of the sauces on the dish were also on point. Would get this again. Dessert: Dulche de leche spring rolls with ice cream is to DIE for. It was so sweet but I couldn't stop eating it. The ice cream paired so well with the spring rolls it was truly mind blowing. 6/5 for me. Will get this every chance I get. I will definitely come back pretty often, especially for happy hour. He'll make it happen! So I was served a side of salmon and side of hot sushi rice. Grilled nicely over a bed of fresh greens. I ate slowly to avoid irritating my stomach any further. Turns out I'm still hungry so I ordered a CA roll. Good stuff! Sure, overpriced when compared to a Japanese place ($9 for an 8 piece roll), but I was famished. Friends ordered Japanese ahi tuna poke bowls, Thai green curry mahi mahi rice bowl, and poke starters. Smaller portions in terms of protein-- we expected that. A friend cleaned out her seasonal pacific salmon chowder bowl. We were charged for a mochi fondue dessert (whoa, what's the dip?) but it was swiftly taken off the bill. Get this straight. The food is OKish. Probably not going to make you sick. I've eaten there before, never my choice, and never felt the food was worthy of their prices. So many better places in Campbell and Los Gatos. So many. But no, the food probably won't make you sick. What made me sick was the waitstaff and management. I called in the around noon the day before to make a 5:30 apt for our group. I asked for outside seating and was told they couldn't guarantee anything. OK, that's weak, but OK. So we arrived at 5:10, figuring we'd have a drink while we waited for our table. Got there and the place was maybe at 15% occupancy. Maybe. They apparently hadn't written down my preference, and asked me where we wanted to sit. OK, that was kind of lame, but OK. I smiled and said outside in a booth. We were led outside to a standing table with four chairs in the middle of the patio.. Now one of the reasons we wanted to go here was I had seen their high partitioned booths outside and that made me feel comfortable. All but one of the booths were unoccupied. Empty. I asked if we could be seated in a booth and was told it was "reserved." Now I'm starting to get upset. Yesterday I was told they "couldn't guarantee" I could sit outside, but someone has a booth reservation? I pointed this out to the "hostess" and she finally seated us at one of the other booths. Then she said something about the QR code sticker on the side of the dirty bottle of hand sanitizer (ironic). She said it twice just asking if we knew how to use the QR code, nothing about it being for the menu. Yeah, I was wearing my best Fred Flintstone outfit so I held back from telling her I was implementing QR codes in products before she was potty trained. Anyone over 30 is absolutely ancient of course. Anyway, she walked off and I downloaded the menu to find that it didn't include prices for anything. This is not The Commander's Palace in New Orleans, this is a little fish joint in a trumped-up strip mall. It's a matter of courtesy to provide the prices in the menu. I started to walk inside to get a paper menu and was met by the same helpful waitstaff. Surprise! She was coming out to tell me she was going to have to move us out of the booth. Really? Really? That was the last straw. I told little miss QR Code we were leaving, and why we were leaving, and asked that she pass the message along to her manager. Like that was going to happen. We left and were well seated at another restaurant within 10 minutes. Great meal there, friendly waitstaff, and the hostess asked if I wanted a paper menu or if I wanted to use the QR code. Will be back. Again, the ONLY reason we went to Pacific Catch was because I liked the booths. They lied to me about not being able to reserve anything, even at 5:30 on a Wednesday! OK food and lying, and the indignity of being shuffled around like hobos begging at the door. That gets you 1 star. But you probably won't get sick from the food. read more

Came during happy hour. The portions are the same size as the regular menu, which is nice. The sticky ribs are a must! They're so sweet, yet savory and tender. The craft cocktails here are delicious! I recommend the maitai, margarita, kiwi splash, and the spicy pacific. I usually don't like tuna, but the tuna poke here is delicious! If you like your poke spicy, definitely try the Serrano poke. I really enjoyed the fresh catch menu. It's customizable. You can choose a type of fish, how you would like it seasoned, and a side. It already comes with veggies depending on the type of seasoning you choose for your fish, but you can choose extra veggies, or have it with kimchi fried rice, which was my choice. I love the chimmichuri sauce and the Thai Brussels sprouts! Fish tastes fresh and veggies are cooked well and perfectly seasoned. For dessert, definitely try the macadamia nut brownie! It's made in house and comes with a hefty scoop of hoola pie gelato! I also recommend the leche rolls! Tastes like cheesecake. We thought we would give this place a try this past Friday. We made a reservation for bar seating, and upon arrival we were asked if outside seating was okay as there was no seating available in the bar. I could help but notice that the restaurant appeared to be run down, unkept, and unclean. The food was not good, very salty. We ordered a piece of tuna and salad to share.
