Beautiful service and beautiful weather today at the Pacific Catch happy to eat a dinner here service was warm and very beautiful and atmosphere amazing as always in the terrace. Sunny is shining. So clam Chowder and fish and chips for dinner excellent.

We've been to Pacific Catch many times over the years as it's convenient when doing something in Golden Gate Park. Always good food but nothing too amazing. We went for a recent Aloha Friday as you can get $6 Mai tais during happy hour if you wear a Hawaiian shirt. The Mai tai was actually good and pretty strong! They are normally $15/each so this is a deal. We started at the bar with coconut shrimp which came with a Thai sweet chili dipping sauce ($14), with about 5 pieces and really tasty. After we were seated, husband had the miso black cod ($35) which was a glazed Alaska sablefish, with furikake rice and sesame green beans. He enjoyed it but the piece was not huge for the price. I had the fried shrimp tacos with black beans and chips and salsa, which were really good. It comes with 2 tacos served with chordido and a spicy aioli ($19). Delish and filling! Plus another round of Mai tais at regular pricing. The restaurant is pretty large and service was good. We will definitely be back!

Wanted something lighter tonight. Poke Salad and Sushi roll. Perfect! Service was great. Ambience was amazing!

We came by for lunch on a Saturday. We were met right away at the hostess stand and sat right away. The restaurant was at about half capacity. The waiter came by right away and got our drink orders while we figured out what we wanted to eat. They have great lunch specials that will not leave you hungry. I got the Poké duo bowl picture attached. It was delicious. My wife got a salad with tofu. It came out accidentally with salmon on it. She doesn't eat salmon so she let them know they made a mistake. They took the dish back and within a few minutes. Both enjoyed our food and drinks. This is a nice place. Great big windows very friendly staff even semi outdoor seating with a fire pit. I'm sure we'll be back next time we're looking for lunch in the area.

Did a group order at work. I usually don't eat here nor order from here on my own. I love their salmon chowder but the rolls are ok.

We ordered the Mixed catch from the main menu. It was extremely delicious. We also ordered the Chili-Lime fries from the Happy Hour menu. That dish was great as well. The atmosphere and service was friendly and inviting. It made you feel at home once you entered the door. I would definitely recommend this place. Come during Happy Hour for snacks and drinks at a reduced price. The mixed catch had cod , coconut shrimp, calamari, sesame slaw & choice of fries or salad . All very good , the salad is mixed greens , edamame, cherry tomatoes... Fair beer selection

First time at this location & we really enjoyef it. The foods were delicious and flavorful. The server we had was very nice. We had a reservation & it's good we did because they had a wait for a Friday night. The ambiance inside was nice. Place isn't too big. Downside is parking is hard.

Love this place and location!! I'm not a seafood eater, but I truly enjoy the bowls here. I order teriyaki chicken when I'm here. This particular location is fabulous for when you're at the DeYoung or Cal Academy or the Arboretum or the tea garden. I love everything about it. The outdoorish space with the fireplaces, the indoor dining area with its light and airy feeling. The beautiful bar in the center front. It just works! Food is good. Solid every time. Service is adequate to better than average. Overall, it's a win in the city. I will return!

Our server Cabi was friendly and welcoming to us and our pup. We were seated in the front where we could enjoy dinner with our dog. This restaurant is stylish and casual with comfortable seating. My dinner was maybe the best fresh fish I've ever eaten - Miso Black Cod with furikake rice and sesame green beans. The chef really knows how to prepare fish. I'll be dreaming about this meal ! Cabi took great care of the 3 of us. Thanks

    Overly salty grits. Not edible.

Frequent customer here... Sad to report, the Surf and Turf was horrible. The lobster tail was so overcooked, it was like shoe leather, plus with a burn taste. The skirt steak was close to the same. The grits that came with the dish were so salty, that they were impossible to eat. The ambiance is great and the server seemed nice but minimally interactive. Front seater seems disinterested in her job. Sire, it's a Thursday mid-day but if you expect tips etc, try harder.

Stopped for lunch last Wednesday and was excited to see steamed clams on the menu. They were Manila clams with herb garlic butter, white wine, chilis, lemon and cilantro and they were delicious. My mom ordered a poke bowl and the poke was extremely fresh and flavorful like always. Service was also wonderful. Love this place.

Mexican Grill Bowl tasted as nice as it looked.

Because Pacific Catch has been known to send text messages announcing things like steep discounts on rainy days I allow them to text me messages. For the same reason, I've also downloaded their app and given them my birthdate. People who turn over this information get an annual birthday gift, generally in the form of a regular-sized "bowl" of which there are several to choose from. I recently popped into this Pacific Catch location to enjoy that complimentary bowl. Though I was headed back to Marin - where there's also a Pacific Catch - I've personally found that I prefer the food at this location (despite both featuring the same menu). A few years back Pacific Catch remodeled this location and I really enjoy the airiness; it well-matches the food. I opted for the Mexican Grill Bowl featuring seared shrimp and a lot of other ingredients that they continually tinker with. I preferred back when this bowl featured corn on the cob (rather than corn off the cob, as it now does) but I can't argue with its taste or presentation: shrimp, corn, tortilla chips, guacamole, brown rice, organic greens and other things that I likely didn't even notice. This bowl was enough for two meals and the fact that I consumed nearly the whole thing in one sitting is a good indication of how much I enjoyed it. Pacific Catch - this location in particular - provides a reliably enjoyable meal and an ever-changing rotation of happy hour deals. I might not ever get excited to find myself here but when I do? I always enjoy it.

I have dined here many times in the past, and this is a cash-only restaurant. I ordered the Regular Burrito with Beef Steak ($10.25). The regular burrito comes with a flour tortilla, rice, beans, salsa, onions, and cilantro, plus your choice of meat or vegetarian. Meat choices listed on the menu: * Al Pastor - Marinated Pork * Carnitas - Deep Fried Pork * Chile Verde - Pork Green Sauce * Chorizo - Mexican Sausage * Carne Asada - Steak * Lengua - Beef Tongue * Pollo - Chicken * Cabeza - Beef Head * Tripas - Intestines I asked the cashier which meat was most popular, and he recommended the beef steak, which had a slight hint of spiciness. The burrito came with pinto beans and rice. I forgot to ask if I could substitute black beans. The burrito wasn't too salty, and the beef steak was just okay. I also think the $10.25 Carne Asada burrito is a good deal. At other taquerias, carne asada is often an additional charge or the burrito costs more when you choose steak. I usually ask for a receipt even when paying cash. When I checked my receipt, I noticed I was charged an additional $0.25 for "Bolsa To Go" (bag) even though I was dining in and didn't receive a to-go bag. It's not about the $0.25, but I think it's important for a business to have integrity and charge customers only for what they actually receive. I hope this isn't something being charged to other dine-in customers as well. Overall, I would come back to try a different meat, but next time I'll make sure to clearly say dine-in and check my receipt to make sure I wasn't charged for a to-go bag.

They have pickled onions with sliced habaneros and a few different salsas. I like the red salsa, creamy green one (kinda spicy), and the creamy habanero (very spicy). The tacos were good. Pretty decent amount of meat. The quesadilla was also good with a decent ratio of cheese and meat. I thought the al pastor was missing that typical strong savory-sweet flavor though. They also added pineapple in the quesadilla. There are a lot of options in the area but this place is worth a try.
