The store is nice and clean, they have a variety of items in their showroom. Lots of deals going on for Mother's Day. I've been using their products for close to two decades. When I first hear about this $300 rice cooker, I was like... what does it do for you? Does it cook an entire meal for me? After I started using their rice cooker, I no longer use the other brand name Japanese rice cooker anymore. This rice cooker in pot is stainless steel. It doesn't get scratched like the nonstick coating ones. It's been lasting for a long time for me with my current rice cooker and still functioning properly. It's not $100 off with their mother's day promotion with fee gifts. Pretty sweet deal!

Sales: 4.5/5 Installer: 3/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Sales: Sandy did a great job explaining pros and cons of each model of what was best for our kitchen needs. Since I already did my research and narrowed down for the same the specific model, her detailed recommendation confirmed my choice. Why 4.5 stars but not 5? She is just too good of a salesperson. Even though she would point out the cons, she downplays some of the cons. Installer: I got a reminder call 2 days before the installation date, was given a 4 hour window, and also received a call 30 minutes before his arrival in the installation date. He finished the installation in 1 hour. Why 3 stars but not 5? Lack of transparency and honesty. I ordered a metal panel to cover up the holes in the backsplash for the microwave range hood mount. The installer said we didn't need it and it easily get our hands cut if we are not careful on cleaning. He asked me to call customer service for a refund. You know what I saw on his customer item lists? It said the metal panels are out of stock! They should be more honest with customers. I would have waited up to few more weeks for that. Now that range hood is installed, there is probably no easy way to install it. Not cool. I have to patch those holes on the backsplash. Customer Service: So I called them to ask for the refund of the metal panel. The customer rep handled it like she's done it a million times. She didn't give me any hard time, and it was refunded immediately. All in all, I got the product I needed but not everything I wanted. Sandy spent almost 15 min on selling me the metal panel for nothing. I truly recommend Sandy when you go inside the shop. Make sure you have done some homework on what you want and need, and ask plenty of questions.

Like many recently built homes, our place came with a combination microwave/range fan mounted over the stove. These are a convenient, space saving design that is very popular, and they work fine for typical home cooking, however 90%+ of our meals are made in a high temperature wok which produces more steam, smoke and oil than you would think. We were constantaly changing filters and taking the hood apart to clean oil out of the bottom pan. Our home in China has a much better system, designed for our style of cooking so we set out to find a place that could provide the Asian style hood for our home. After searching we visited Pacific Kitchen Life. We arrived with a picture of our existing setup and measurements. Sandy explained that our hood only produced 300 CFM and for our type of cooking we needed something 900 CFM or higher. She showed us all of the models which they carry, explaining the differences between them. After some consideration we selected a TruSteam model which had a self-cleaning function built-in. Pouring distilled water into a reservoir creates steam on demand which cleans the oil and cooking residue from the hood and collects it in a removable drip pan. This looked like a much better way to maintain the hood than what we were doing before so we were excited. Our model was in stock and Sandy booked an installer to deliver our new range hood to the house, remove the old one and install the new one. They even offered to take the old one away and dispose of it, but I opted to keep it because I knew my neighbors in the HOA all had the same unit and thought somebody could need it for parts. I posted on my HOA user group and somebody took it right away. The installer arrived on-time the day of the appointment. He was pleasant, quick and skillful. The project was complete in less than two hours. Since installing the new range hood we are much happier. The steam cleaning works as advertised and the new hood sucks all the cooking smells out, making our home less smelly when cooking. The only downside is we had to buy a separate countertop microwave, but it's worth it. The total project, including a new microwave ran us about $1200. Pacific Kitchen Life did a fantastic job. Their professionalism is greatly appreciated. I recommend using them.

After 21+ years using a Pacific Stove Hood which came with our house, we were finally in need for a new one. We were so happy with the old one that we decided to purchase the same brand. Mainly for the Auto Clean feature. Looked online of course for cheaper but we wanted to see what it looked like in person. We visited the Pacific store in Sunnyvale and was surprised the price shown included installation and hauling away of old hood so we were sold to buy it from Pacific Kitchen. Warranty was also good, Lifetime on Motor

We placed our order on 19 AUG 2020. Model number SC8130BS. We would like to thank Ms. Sandy Chau for her help in lots of details. Sandy will tell you pros and cons based on the available space in your kitchen before selecting the hood. Sandy cares from the size width, height, duct size, depth of the cabinet, electrical and granite before your payment. I can completely feel she is not just a sales person, but she wants to make sure everything is good after the installation. Sandy is very patient and spend 30-60 minutes when talking to us, she hope us understand everything before paying the money. I can feel she loves her work. Due to COVID we need to wait 2-3 weeks after placing the order, but Sandy keep tracking and updating the status after we paid. She is super responsible for every client and she gave us a call for a 3-hour window two days before the installation. Our handyman is Victor, he is super nice and he is very careful. Our gas range is new and he wrap it before removing the old hood and then install the new hood for us. Victor is patient as well, he answered all of our questions during the installation. I highly recommend Sandy Chua and Victor if you are considering your next hood at Pacific Kitchen Life. Sandy and Victor will be the best person for you!

This is my third insulated mug purchase from here. The price is usually around $20 for the mug. I like how it has a tea filter embedded inside and it's pretty easy to clean. I got the updated purple mug but only to realize that the rim is a bit sharp compared to the old buffalo mugs. I like how well it insulates hot water so that is why i bought my third one in the past 15 years. Parking is easy. Store front is spacious.

I needed a stove and dishwasher but knew very little about any kitchen appliances. Sandy took the time to help me by giving me details about the different functions the appliances had and what would be the best fit based on my needs and budget. She was knowledgeable and patient. If you are looking for kitchen appliances and ever in the Sunnyvale location be sure to ask for Sandy!

They have so many displays to explore, including kitchen cabinets, countertops, flooring, vanities, and complete bathroom setups. Since this was our first home remodeling project, it was incredibly important for us to see examples in person because we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. We visited several other stores, but none of them had nearly as many displays or design ideas as KZ, which is why we kept coming back. We had the pleasure of working with Coco, and she was amazing throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain every product, answered all of our questions, and recommended design options that fit both our style and budget. She also helped us create our kitchen floor plan with precise measurements that our contractor was able to use, which made the installation process much smoother. What we appreciated most was that Coco continued to support us throughout our remodel. Whenever we had questions about our purchases, she was always available and happy to help. Having someone so knowledgeable and responsive gave us a lot of confidence during a project that was completely new to us. We highly recommend KZ for anyone planning a remodel, and we especially recommend working with Coco. Her expertise, patience, and excellent customer service made our remodeling experience so much easier and more enjoyable.

We were set on using Shiloh Malibu cabinets with a reeded design and built the entire kitchen around this focal point, which made the design process both complex and unconventional. Throughout the journey, Kailun created what felt like 20 different design iterations and cost estimates, helping us carefully evaluate every possibility. In the end, we couldn't be happier with the result. The quality of the Shiloh cabinets is outstanding. The natural wood tones give the kitchen a warm, organic feel that is anything but bland. The variation in the wood grain makes the space feel truly unique and custom. We decided to mix two different wood tones, which initially made us a little nervous, but the final outcome exceeded our expectations. The soft-close features are excellent, and the craftsmanship is evident throughout. We highly recommend Kailun and the team to anyone looking for a thoughtful design process, exceptional service, and beautiful, high-quality cabinetry.

From the very beginning, Patty listened thoughtfully to our vision, needs, and family's rhythm. I leaned on her expertise and trusted her recommendations completely. I'm glad I did. She took my aesthetics and ideas and skillfully incorporated them into a design that felt deeply "us," while elevating everything in ways I couldn't have achieved on my own. We now have more space, a peninsula where our whole family can eat, all without knocking down walls. This wasn't just a kitchen remodel for us; it was a kitchen that evolved with our family, and one we will enjoy for years to come as we move into the late elementary and junior high seasons of raising our kids. Patty and Kurt put their heart in the heart of the home! Patty said that "it takes a village," and that is exactly what this process felt like: a true village effort, thoughtfully coordinated to bring everything together beautifully. We asked Betty to also quote a kitchen remodel option. We enjoyed working with Betty on the redesign and her practical suggestions. Her quote was so reasonable that we decided to do everything. The original estimate of 2-3 weeks, as typical for remodel projects, depending on the problems/complications encountered, stretched out to 5 weeks. Betty coordinated her three different work groups (divided by trade skills) to complete the remodel. At times there were coordination and communication(language) issues where I had to communicate with Betty to resolve and some of the smaller tasks were delegated to less skilled personnel. I felt that it was necessary to actively monitor to ensure things were completed according to plan/agreement. The plumbing, electrical and cabinet work was high quality and the quartz work by Sal and team was superb. Sal made sure that the quartz pattern matched perfectly at the island countertop and waterfall joint. That joint and the 45 degree joint on the sink/stove countertop are completely invisible, as if they were cut from one piece. In the end, we are very happy with the results and are very happy with both our laundry room and kitchen updates by Urban Interior Design.

What was going on and what was happening if I had any concerns, he addressed them immediately and make sure that they met my expectations. I would use Wise Builders again and I would request Marc to be my project manager again on any future jobs that I had. He worked really well with our designer Jocelyn, I appreciated having a designer. Having a designer to bounce ideas off have her expertise on fixtures and toilets was amazing. Jocelyn did an excellent job working with me and when my daughter had some changes to this design, she was very receptive to those changes and helped me update the changes in our design The only thing that could have been better is, if the tile supplier had communicated with Marc that the tile for the guest shower floor was backlogged. Marc worked really hard to expedite the tile and was in communication with me along that process. In order to give us options besides waiting for the tile, Jocelyn, our designer gave us an alternative tile. Looking at the tile floor now I like it better than what I had originally chosen. I have done other remodeling projects and I would have to say that working with Marc has probably been one of the easiest remodeling projects that I have done. I appreciated that I did not have to be so hands-on in the project because I trusted that Marc would get it done.

All prior interior work in our house had been done by handyman. I really appreciated the communication from our project manager Marc. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. Overall it was a positive experience. I waited several months to post this review until I returned from travel and could see how things were settling after regular use. I'm loving the new bathroom and recommend WISE.

I'd live to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Gianna who was tirelessly patient with me as I went through the process of finding fixtures, pull handles, faucets, tubs, toilets, etc.. I had no idea what I was doing or what I wanted but Gianna was so patient and so kind. She helped me select and order everything for my two bathrooms and kitchen. She was clear and very communicative about when I could expect my items to be ready for pick-up (an extra challenge with the global supply chain issues).
