I walked in with my niece to order some slices of pizza. There was a heavy set gentleman that was sitting down in a chair behind the counter to the right of the register. Instead of getting up and walking over to the register he slides over in the chair and enters the information into the register while seated and reaching up to do so. I placed my order and my niece placed her order. He gave us a price and I paid for both orders. After we had already gotten our drinks, he starts asking us for our orders again and he then tells us that he didn't charge us enough. Instead of honoring the price he told us and we already paid, he wants another $10. for his mistake. Again, this was already after we got our drinks and couldn't return them. During the transaction he received a phone call and he proceeded to talk with that person. When he got the change out of the register he got up from the chair, set the change down on the counter without acknowledging me, turned around and walked away with out even saying thank you for our business. One has to wonder if they understand that we don't exist because of them, but they stay in business because of customers like us. read more

Pacific Pizza is a pretty dope place! I went here a while back, must have been when it first opened. The pizza I got was EXCELLENT. I forgot the name of the slice but it must have been called "the works" or something because it had everything a traditional "works" slice had -- italian sausage, olives, mushrooms, green bell peppers, onions, and a generous serving of cheese. I highly recommend this slice! Super tasty, nice balance of all the ingredients. It wasn't overly greasy like some pizza slices are so I'm super pumped about that! However, I got a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich on the side -- mine was overly SALTY and I actually could not finish it. I'm not sure if that was a rare occurrence or is consistent among all sandwiches... but overall this place has great potential and is certainly doing well for its age here in Poway, since it is newer than most local stores :) (as of Apr 25th 2020). I wanted to update my review as this is now one of my go to restaurants for a quick lunch in the area. Especially for their lunch slices. Every time I have been back to Pacific pizza it has been great! Maybe the home delivery the day I got it was off or something. So glad I tired then again. The crust is thin but holds up to a bend with a crisp bottom and soft inside to the top. It's quite tasty. The cheese and sauce are added in the right proportions and compliment the toppings well. Overall, a decent NY style pizza. The dough is a little too chewy for me, and the toppings were okay. Not quite as good as Bongiornos in Poway, but cheaper and 10 mins (one-way) closer to me. Much better than frozen pizza and Dominos. For me, it's on par with Pizza Hut, which I like. This was a pickup, and staff was pleasant. On their website, there's a $3 coupon for a 18" large pizza, which I added back in the tip. They appear to a daily special for $6, but I didn't try that. read more

Pizza is pretty good, and the location is pretty convenient. I particularly appreciated how the pizza wasn't greasy even with all the meat toppings. You can get pretty much any of the pizza types as individual slices which was a nice touch. The owners seemed nice, and the place was clean. Downsides, it does take a long time to get your pizza. We didn't time it, but it felt like it took an eternity to get one pie and two slices. They weren't even busy at the time, I can only imagine it getting much worse around lunch. Minimal drink options. Also, there was a misunderstanding and they made the pizza wrong, but we didn't complain because we didn't want to wait again. Not bad, might go from time to time. I previously tried the Lasagna and calzone a year ago. I haven't been there until recently and there's a special for 2 slices for $5 which brought me in to try their other pastas. The half orders are good for one person or can split into two meals. I tried the spaghetti with meatballs and it wasn't bad. I was craving for spaghetti and I was satisfied. The chicken pesto hit real good. It took me 3 sittings to finish a half order. The chicken was plentiful and the pesto sauce was tasty over spaghetti noodles. Will definitely try the full orders next time. As far as the pepperoni pizzas goes, they're thin with a flat crust. Pretty saucy and cheesy which makes it a better substitute for cheap pizza. You can taste the quality ingredients in the food. Customer service is good and always have been. Do expect to wait 10-15 minutes depending on your order so call in ahead if you do not like the wait. My boys and I couldn't decide on whether to get Chinese or pizza--and lo and behold, they're right next to each other. We ordered the torpedo sandwich and a couple slices of pepperoni. My boys loved the the pizza, and I would order that sandwich every day if I lived closer. Both the pizza and service are 5 Stars here! It's our family's favorite crust! The pizza is both crunchy so you can hold it a slice but it's also got pillowy soft bread center! Decided to bit the bullet and try this place out. Man, am I glad I did. The wife ordered a Gluten free cauliflower crust with vengan cheese (yuck) or so I thought. Wow was I wrong. For being Keto friendly it's freaking awesome!!! I ordered the Philly Cheese and cant say enough about it. Stuffed with meat and veggies then just the right amount of cheese melted on top. Service was quick and on point. I think I have found my new pizza spot! The heavy set cook making the pizzas looks and sounds like he's from NY so it gives you that "NY feeling". It was delicious and we will be back. The sauce was flavorful and not overly sweet. The crust was thin, but not New York style thin, just right. The pepperoni we're tasty and not too greasy. It all struck a great balance. The hotwings were great too. A nice heat, not too vinegary like some can be. they paired great with the provides ranch dressing and the hot sauce made the ranch taste great when we dipped carrots in it. Also, they gave us a few chocolate chip cookies and I highly recommend them. We talked with the owner and a few of the employees and they were all super nice and helpful.
