Had a wonderful experience buying a new dishwasher. Chris D. was so helpful and explained useful features for our consideration, and features which were cosmetic (eg, does one really need a stainless steel lined dishwasher). He offered pros and cons on certain designs/features and whether the dishwasher would fit in with our other appliances (eg, if we went with a towel bar design, would if fit in with the bar towels on our stove or refrigerator?). The whole experience was really more educational than being sold to. We started going to Pacific Sales when they had two stores and the founders still worked the floors. The people who work here are great. We ordered a new kitchen through them (on sale) and they are keeping them in the warehouse until we need them. We also ordered toilets and a kitchen sink. Kate and Chris did such a great job dealing with crazy customers like me!! They are under the Best But umbrella. This means that you have a certain number of days to return an item AFTER you take delivery of that item. If you, like me, want to take advantage of a sale but can't take delivery right away, they will hold them for you. So much better than Home Depot or Lowes who make you take delivery when it's convenient for them. read more

We purchased a cloths dryer from Pacific Sales. Showed pictures of the older unit including the wall/valve connection to the salesman. Salesman said no problem, although had to spend $40 for including a dryer generic gas kit. Unit was delivered on time, but the delivery people said that the current valve, which is actually on the same GE machine, was not one they would accept. Now i have to spend $100 to ask handyman/plumber to install a $11 valve and new dryer wont be delivered for another week. Once the unit is fully installed, we will see if the unit works. Following the purchase, we hit a few snags with delivery - while Best Buy tried to work with us (and ultimately was successful), we reached back out to Ricardo and he assured us that if Best Buy was unable to deliver he would ensure that Pacific Sales would take care of delivery and it wouldn't be a problem. Although Best Buy was successful in the end, knowing that we had Ricardo and Pacific Sales as our safety net went a LONG way. Having never written a review of a sales person, I felt compelled that I should give a shout out to Laura at Pacific sales in Burbank. I went in to see if I could get a new hose for my kitchen faucet and unfortunately there were no parts available for my product anymore, but Laura was so helpful. She was determined to see what she could do. She sat with me, for probably a half hour, looking through and trying to find the original manufacture that has since moved to Sweden. Anyway then we started in search of a new faucet for me to purchase. She was so patient, so knowledgeable, and so kind. Showing me so many options and absolute pleasure to work with. Then next day, she calls me on my cell to tell me that another old customer had just come in looking for a different part for the same faucet I was looking for originally. She laughed and told him that I had been in the day before and he asked what part I needed.she told him I needed a hose and he said he had purchased a hose that he doesn't have use for since his plumber was able to fix his faucet for him. Anyway Laura took the time to call me and make the arrangements with him so that I could get the hose.....really above and beyond !Kudos to Pacific Sales for having Laura on their team!!
