Jack Ohanian was great and responsive, even during off-hours. He was knowledgeable and efficient. We had a few hiccups during delivery/installation process, but Jack resolved the issues as quickly as possible. We had a few dents on the new fridge door panel, so I took pictures and sent to Jack and he immediately contacted the company rep of the fridge regarding this issue. Several hours later the fridge company called me saying they are in process of making the new door panel, and gave me an estimated delivery time of the new door panel. We bought our refrigerator from Pacific Sales in Pasadena a few months ago but couldn't take delivery yet as we were in the middle of a kitchen remodel. We needed to have it delivered by 10/31/25 in order to qualify for the $1000 rebate but the kitchen still wasn't ready. We tried having it delivered and stored in the garage but it was too tall to fit. We therefore had to decline the delivery. We figured that we would just be out of luck and have to miss out on the getting the rebate. Ricardo, our sales person, came to the rescue! He was able to work it out by having them deliver it to the Pasadena store instead of our house. They are able to keep it there until December when we will finally be able to receive it. I went to Pacific sales to outfit the two homes we lost in the Eaton fire.. Michael Meyer, a long time employee of Pacific sales, spent several hours with me reviewing options. He wasn't concerned at all that I wasn't yet ready to buy. I waited until the Black Friday sales, which started the day before Thanksgiving to go in and make a purchase of every major appliance needed for two houses. It took several hours and Michael was very helpful and pointing out alternatives and working through the process. He then suggested that to get an additional 10% off. I apply for the best by credit card which I intend to pay off immediately. But that, and the fact that Ricardo, the manager, was willing to meet the sales price online on several of my items resulted in significant savings and the appliances I wanted. I definitely intend to shop there for all my plumbing supplies and bathroom fixtures . Service was excellent. Pacific Sales was great. Their sales people are knowledgable and honest. Their installers (who are from a separate company) are a little shaky though. Today the installers missed their first window (7am-11am) completely, then arrived in the afternoon. They immediately told me that my valves were the wrong size and it would cost me $85/valve to replace them. I called Pacific Sales and they immediately credited my account with the necessary amounts. Our fridge died. We were dreading a time-consuming dive into the refrigerator rabbit hole to enable us to select the best one for our needs. Thanks to Adriana at Pacific Sales in Pasadena, we got the perfect fridge with just minimal time in the refrigerator rabbit hole. Adriana was insanely knowledgeable about a great variety of fridges. She was also extremely patient and professional, and was always a pleasure to deal with over our laborious, 2-day new fridge quest. However the story does not end there. We ended up with a delivery snafu, and called the store. Adriana was off but Ricardo (the experience manager) assisted us. He monitored the delivery over several days to ensure we got it as soon as possible and he remained available for any further concerns. Another concern did arise (call us lucky!), which was that the refrigerator arrived with minor cosmetic damage. The deliverymen were meticulous about bringing it to our attention and documenting it with Best Buy (parent company of Pacific Sales) on our behalf. (We literally saw the delivery men take it out of the package so we know it occurred at the factory and was not their fault.) We reached out to Ricardo who again promptly assisted us and made sure we had the full range of options to choose from to address the damage issue. Shout out also to Jack (general manager) who assisted us when our fridge was dying. He went out of his way to contact the manufacturer on our behalf to make sure we connected with the repairmen who were certified in that brand. They came out and ultimately couldn't fix it, but at last we knew that we had the repairmen come out who had the expertise to fix it if it could be fixed. When they couldn't, we knew we had to replace it which is where this review began and Adriana and Ricardo came in. In all, we highly recommend Pacific Sales in Pasadena for their extremely helpful and knowledgeable team. They helped us get the right folks out for our old fridge, helped us get the perfect new fridge, and assisted us in navigating the bumps in the road along the way to getting the new fridge into our kitchen where it now delights us to no end every day. read more

Selection of appliances is good but service is slow and they don't follow through. They make the sale and forget about you. Appliance order was cancelled and delivery was not cancelled and we never notified - just a bunch of emails from Best Buy about cancellation and re-order. The Best Buy customer service had to handle everything and make it right - Pacific Sales can't do anything, they are just a store front to sell you expensive appliances. read more

Overall service here has been good. Mike in appliances is terrific to work with because he is honest and fair (funny too). Mike gave us suggestions and offered his opinion, when asked. We were looking for a refrigerator that was not going to be available until next year. When Mike found one that became available, he was on it right away to help us secure it. He is definitely knowledgeable about the appliances. Laura in plumbing was also nice to work with because she was willing to work with me by phone. She offered suggestions and I was able to purchase our kitchen sink, garbage disposal, and faucet by phone. When the items were ready for pick up- I got a call and was able to pick up without issue.
